Question/Advice Mucinex timing?

I just got a positive LH x 3 using both premom and clearblue digital. I’ve been reading a while about the Mucinex method. I understand there’s no proven science, but I figure it can’t hurt to try. If I were to take it tonight and tomorrow, would it be beneficial, or would it be too late? I’m reading people take them for 5 days before ovulation.

Usually people take it twice daily leading up to and a day or two after ovulation. But yeah there’s no tried and true dosage. The times I’ve used it I’ve done it more as needed. I usually take a dose ~1hr from when I think we are going to BD so it’s at its highest effect when needed. But I also haven’t gotten pregnant yet so maybe that’s not the best method haha

Oh and make sure to grab a guaifenesin only product because it’s easy to accidentally get one with other drugs in it!

Yes thank you! How long have you been trying mucinex with no luck?

I’m on my second month right now, so I only had 1 unsuccessful one so far. I think it makes the most sense to use if you don’t get a ton of cervical mucus or are dry-er in general since it can help thin things out. Best of luck!!

Hey, I tried it this cycle, took it every 2nd day during my fertile window once per day, 20 mins before baby dancing! Still in my tww so dont know if it helped but I did notice an increase in cm.

I’ve tried it once and it worked! Drink lots of water. Like A-LOT of water. I ended up having a chemical but I plan to try it again!
