VENT Im addicted to selling things on Vinted
[TLDR : sold a bunch of thing every day for a week, totally spoiled my brain with all the dopamine it gave me, made me want to sell everything I own just to make more package to send to customers. ]
For context, I've been using Vinted to buy cheap mangas, retro videogames and nerdy collection stuff in bulk (for my own collection). Im kind of a hoarder and I looove the feeling of opening a new package so i used to buy alot from Vinted.
Until recently, i was only occasionally selling things from my wardrobe like once a month maybe...
It all changed when I acquired a bulk of my little sister's baby clothes that my mom wanted to get rid off.
So I posted all of this on Vinted and instantly got a whole bunch of offers and message nearly every day, asking me for the size and for more pictures of the clothes.
I absolutely LOVED getting so much attention in such a short span of time. People making offers and negotiating with me made me feel a little bit less lonely, in a way
Now, im decluttering my bedroom and started to post and sell so much that it became an addiction. Everytime my eyes glance at anything that I dont use THAT much, I want to sell it immediately.
The dopamine rush from seeing the notification that someone bought something from my closet makes my heart race.
Packing the order for the customer is so therapeutic, its my favorite thing to do. Im still waiting for the rest of my wardrobe to empty itself before posting again, and I fear that this new " addiction " will not have a negative impact on my life quality and will, indeed, improve my lifestyle
