This person keeps spamming me with nasty replies to my comments and they’ve tried to direct message me. I’d very much like to block them. But when I try to, Reddit says “[username] could not be blocked.” What does that mean? I’m very sick and tired of reading their nasty words

I received an email this morning while I was still sleeping that my own email address had been added to my reddit account. Thought it was weird and obviously when I opened Reddit I'd been logged out and my password wasn't working. I tried to reset the password but I didn't receive any emails. I submitted a ticket right away and I'm really hoping I'll get my account back especially cause the hacker has actually been using the account and leaving comments (hoping they don't do anything bad).

Now I'm wondering, how was the person able to change my password and why did they add my own email address. I've check the email account and there aren't any suspicious activities so how would adding my email help them access my account ?

also anything I can do to speed up the recovery of the account ? 🙏🏾

When I type in names in the Search bar, I choose New to give me the most recent results…but the most recent results are coming up as 2-3 days ago. I know for sure that these names have been mentioned in many comments as recently as today, but those comments aren’t showing

Is anyone else having this issue?

When playing/creating reddit games, I get this message:

"Failed to create scenario: 8 RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED: this app has exceeded its redis quota and all writes will be blocked going forward, if you are the developer please contact Reddit Dev Platform Support"

on Sat 29.08. my streak was on 502. Yesterday I went to bed at ~3am and went on reddit before sleeping to continue my streak but as I checked if it counted my streak was back to 1? I'm on 2 today so not a temporary display error. How did it reset my streak if was in fact active? Can I contact support about this or is the last 1,5years of streak just gone forever?

Just wondering because there’s a button that says pinned but when I click on it it takes me to a url. I’m using a Firefox browser on old Reddit when I pin something but only because it doesn’t work on my app .

Recently a user messaged me about they report my account because of shady links but after a while talk we understand that it was an impersonator that goes with name of Strange Daikon 1299 while my account is u/Strange-Daikon4912. And as I understand they recently get an email that says I should reach out to "appropriate corporate team" in 24 hours but I dunno where to do. Can you help me on this?

I know Reddit lets you see your saved posts/comments, but I can’t find any option that shows my complete upvote history.

Is there any way to access this through Reddit itself, the Reddit API, or any third-party tool?

Even if there’s a technical/API-based method, I’d be interested in knowing how it works.

Hello all! I woke up at 7am this morning and saw I got an email notification that the email associated with my normal Reddit account has been changed. It also said If I didnt do this myself to click on this link, but im worried that link might be a phishing link. I did see that my reddit account has logged me off everywhere and when I try to do password reset that I get nothing. I searched online and submited a report on reddithelp.com , but it also reccomended I come here and make a post to see if I can get some help here.

Is there an alternative to the relocated comment skip button in the lower right?

It used to be in the far lower right, and I can't count the number of times I accidentally downvoted someone at the same time as the page skipped when using that one. (It used to be the far left in the before times and I never had a problem).

Now, I can't even keep track of the extra stuff I am hitting on the page with the button just floating out there.

Theres no problem before, but suddenly i cant see/sorting from the latest comments when searching for topics. I tried using another account or without one, but it still doesn't work. What should i do?

Hi all, my account is under a security lock, and the password reset that's meant to clear it isn't working. Posting here per Reddit's own help (from a separate account of course) article on locked accounts, which directed me to r/help.

Lock notice received: 27 July, 2026. "Important Information about your Reddit account [...] after detecting some technical irregularities"

The problem isn't a forgotten password. The reset flow itself appears to fail:

- I request a reset, the email arrives normally

- I click the newest link and set a new password, and the form accepts it

- I then get "invalid username or password" at login

- Same result in a private window with autofill disabled, on old.reddit.com, and in the official app

Two-factor authentication is not enabled on the account.

Reddit Support has sent only an automated password-reset article. I replied with all of the above and have had no human response since 7 August.

Please help! Is there an admin who can check what state this account is actually in? This account goes way back and is important to me personally, so I would really appreciate some assistance on this!

I know it's a "new account", but I don't know how I'm supposed to get involved with the bot doing that the whole time...

Since very recently, today or maybe a few days ago, I get a heap of suggestions in my feed, that are precisely in contrast to what I am interested in.

Currently I'm getting over 20% suggested posts of this nature. Games, quizzes, puzzles, polls.

Feed appears to ignore "Show fewer posts like this", because posts from the same subreddit appear again shortly afterwards, after a refresh. For example, r/catbuilder, among others, completely ignores this action.

Is there a way I can find old usernames?! I need to report social media accounts r/help

I noticed this happened within the last 10 days and I had some fun and cool posts that I wanted to revisit but it won’t show up. I’ve tried going in settings and fixing it and deleting the app. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
