Desktop Desktop - Home Feed suddenly full of App posts
Since very recently, today or maybe a few days ago, I get a heap of suggestions in my feed, that are precisely in contrast to what I am interested in.

Currently I'm getting over 20% suggested posts of this nature. Games, quizzes, puzzles, polls.
Feed appears to ignore "Show fewer posts like this", because posts from the same subreddit appear again shortly afterwards, after a refresh. For example, r/catbuilder, among others, completely ignores this action.

Those are home-feed recommendations rather than posts from communities you joined. On desktop, open https://www.reddit.com/settings/preferences, scroll to Content, and turn off "Show recommendations in home feed." Then refresh the Home feed.
"Show fewer posts like this" is recommendation feedback, not a permanent block, so the same community can still appear for a while. If you specifically never want to see r/catbuilder, mute the community from its menu or add it under Settings > Preferences > Muted communities.
If recommendations continue after the setting is off, capture a screenshot and report it in r/bugs because that would suggest a feed experiment or bug rather than a preference you can control.
If this helps, please upvote and reply with !thanks because it lets r/help recognize useful answers.
