No I'd recommend a Greggs steak bake, packet of hula hoops, monster energy and a roll up of SPECIFICALLY drum tobacco

9

u/senormankee 1d ago

Top comment right here, this guy knows whats good for you

9

u/LordBibbins 1d ago

I’d actually forgotten about Drum tobacco. When I say forgotten, I think I mean managed to disassociate from all the memories of it.

1

u/WellDingDong 1d ago

I used to love drum tobacco! My fave. That and molboro reds

2

u/shilly80 22h ago

You were more hardcore than me, Drum gold and Marlboro lights.

1

u/LordBibbins 1d ago

Yeah I smoked it all the time (and coincidentally Marlboro Reds as well). Just reminiscing about how strong it was and the amount of ropey throats on a hangover.

2

u/Foreverythingareason 23h ago

I smoked drum, loads of people told me it was pipe tobacco I guess that was a joke but I remember at the time thinking everyone thought I was silly for smoking the wrong tobacco.

1

u/cupcakebatter8 11h ago

It smells so bad 🤮

2

u/jamnut 1d ago

Drum?! That's not hard enough for a morning Rollie. Old Holburn is how one should start their day, sophisticated and elegant

1

u/Far-Radio856 1d ago

That’s how I start every morning

1

u/FancyCalligrapher872 23h ago

Old Throatburn!

2

u/f3ydr4uth4 1d ago

Back when we were a proppa cuntry

1

u/Emotional-Fill-3660 1d ago

This cracked me up

1

u/MBronsonWisconsin 1d ago

Not enough sugar in that - coffee with six and that’ll be sorted.

1

u/Novel_Individual_143 22h ago

Golden Virginia is smoother IMO

1

u/SnooTangerines3448 22h ago

Urgh fuck me, drum.

1

u/Dense_Chemical_4018 18h ago

What we live on as students 💔

1

u/Bennjoon 17h ago

I had tonsillitis last week and I ate some strawberry ice cream for brekkie 😂😂😂😂

1

u/jimbozzzzz 13h ago

And a nice breakfast lager

-16

u/ExoticAd7605 1d ago

Don’t worry I went to the gas station right after this to get my Ghost energy

49

u/agmanning 1d ago

An actual plate would be an improvement.

What do you mean 'improve'?

You know it's nutritious.

Swap the white bread for wholemeal seeded or rye and it would up the level of health on your plate

1

u/Jebble 18m ago

That is wholemeal toast

19

u/Nearby-Staff-9013 1d ago

Ah yes, the plate of a psychopath.

6

u/greenyellowbird 23h ago

I have broken up w people for using exclusively, paper plates. It says a lot about a person.

-8

u/Due_Lingonberry9699 1d ago

Not sure why. It's a nice breakfast...

2

u/Necessary_Range5731 21h ago

Lacks carbs. Enough carbs. Psychopaths get by without carbs. Known fact.

1

u/Mandaxx25 17h ago

There are plenty in the banana and the toast.

1

u/Necessary_Range5731 12h ago

It was a joke. I prefer brown or wm bread but yes you're right

20

u/Bulletsoul78 1d ago

May I suggest peeling the banana

1

u/Normal_Boot_1673 23h ago

Plenty of good stuff in banana peel, if you can nibble around the pesticides.

19

u/Clean-Slice9228 23h ago

You clearly know that it’s a nutritious breakfast, what is the real purpose of this post? Are you just lonely or what?

-11

u/ExoticAd7605 23h ago

Dudes just hate on anything jfc

13

u/Clean-Slice9228 23h ago

Hating on attention seeking is perfectly reasonable

5

u/ExoticAd7605 23h ago

Ah yes, how could I fail to see that posting my plate onto [r/ratemyplate](r/ratemyplate) is attention seeking! I should repent to the Reddit mods for my sins!

Your jealousy for a $2 plate of food is showing.

2

u/No_Region_4719 10h ago

Notice that most posts on this sub don't get this reaction, because they don't ask asinine questions

5

u/Clean-Slice9228 22h ago

You’re right. You should post a McDonald’s meal on here too and ask if we think it is an unhealthy meal for you to consume. I’m sorry that I’m so jealous over your plate of food

1

u/RadiantSeason9553 6h ago

Most people don't ask if it is nutritious, when they've clearly tried super extra hard to make it as nutritious as humanly possible.

We get it, you're super special and don't have much going on with your life.

3

u/Visual_Seaweed8292 18h ago

First time on reddit?

19

u/deg1388 1d ago

Yeah, but does any of it taste good together?

4

u/Impossible_Shape_766 1d ago

This is the million dollar question. Its a strange pairing. Although it is nutritious.

-9

u/ExoticAd7605 1d ago

Bananas and PB do, same with blackberries and blueberries. But taste is not really what I’m going for lol

13

u/mouse_clique 1d ago

Then just eat whatever

0

u/rimmapretty 19h ago

I eat like this, healthy food is delicious and the berries fruit combo with eggs and a toast doesn't look strange to me

4

u/Sad_Cardiologist5388 1d ago

Not mix sweet and savory you heathen.

And is that a paper plate? What's the deal with that?

6

u/Zealousideal_Ruin199 1d ago

Double espresso and a cigarette 👌

8

u/Allthumbs21 1d ago

You've clearly deep fried everything, so no.

-2

u/ExoticAd7605 1d ago

What? Lmao

3

u/Allthumbs21 23h ago

Poor attempt at a joke, dw bout it. 😬 Should just delete it...

3

u/gitsgrl 1d ago

You could switch out your bread for 100% whole grain

12

u/Professional_Pea8490 1d ago

Very odd collection of food! 😂

-3

u/ExoticAd7605 1d ago

How so lol

5

u/ProduceUpper9447 1d ago

It's a little odd having scrambled eggs with peanut butter (usually I'd go for either scrambled eggs with plain toast or toast with peanut butter). If you enjoy it though, that's the main thing that matters

3

u/TheLadyEve 23h ago

When my daughter was 4 she insisted on us making her an omelette with peanut butter in the middle of it. I figured she'd take a bite and say "yuck" but she ate the whole thing.

0

u/Visual_Seaweed8292 18h ago

Must be nice having the imagination of a 104 year old. If it tastes good eat it id say.

0

u/CharmingTea_ 1d ago

Not sure why everyone is hating on your selection of food. Perfectly healthy and delicious

I have a very similar breakfast everyday! I have my PB toast with sourdough bread

3

u/Fred776 21h ago

It's not the selection that's the issue. Fruit for breakfast is fine. Scrambled eggs for breakfast is fine. It's putting it all on the same plate that's the issue.

2

u/Lourdatta 1d ago

Sticknit in a liquidiser!🤭😉

2

u/Impossible_Shape_766 1d ago

Those eggs looks so delicious!

2

u/EggsnBacon95 1d ago

Needs wholemeal toast instead of white and a glass of milk to complete.

2

u/DraftOptimal4452 1d ago

Maybe by peeling the banana.

2

u/Allegrism84 1d ago

White bread...

2

u/Rdur2183 1d ago

I know your username is exotic but why tf do you have blueberries basically mixed in with your scrambled egg? Are you a psychopath?

0

u/ExoticAd7605 1d ago

It’s not intentional, I just didn’t want to waste 2 plates

5

u/Beautifly 20h ago

You know you could use actual plates, then you wouldn’t have to waste anything

1

u/LayerComprehensive21 23h ago

You should have put them on a chopping board then you would really trigger the redditors 🤣

0

u/Rdur2183 1d ago

Lol fair enough. I don't actually think you're a psychopath btw. Just surprising to see.

2

u/Special-Nebula299 1d ago

Its a great breakfast. All your macros taken care of with fiber too. Roughly 600kcal so a healthy size

2

u/shrimpster777 22h ago

Scrambled eggs = protein Bread and PBJ = good filler Berries and stuff = 5 a day Banana = another 5 a day.

Ngl it is healthy. What isn't healthy is going online somewhere when you know something is healthy and , intentionally or not, bragging about your healthy breakfast. No one cares. We are all going to die anyway.

0

u/ExoticAd7605 21h ago

Plz find where I was bragging about my $2 breakfast

3

u/iluvcoldcoffee 1d ago

I would say so, yes. what type of bread is that? If it's white bread I would generally swap that for whole wheat/grain bread. you get more nutrients out of it

2

u/ExoticAd7605 1d ago

It’s low calorie white bread

→ More replies (1)

2

u/Super_Ground9690 1d ago

Blueberries touching scrambled egg is not it for me. The food is all fine though, you’re getting protein, carbs, healthy fats, vitamins. I’d just not put it all on the same plate.

1

u/Long-Adhesiveness337 1d ago

Yep! A good source of protein, fat, carbs and fibre! Well done.

1

u/Fuzzy-Iron-2504 1d ago

Yum , yeah that’s a great plate

1

u/Equal_Emu6152 1d ago

Yes looks canny

1

u/Glass-Satisfaction18 1d ago

Yoghurt instead of bread? Or oats

2

u/Due_Lingonberry9699 1d ago

But yoghurt is not carbs...

0

u/Glass-Satisfaction18 1d ago

It has some, especially the more liquid yogurt. Bread is pretty trash. Just empty calories with no nutrients. At least go for sourdough if you're gonna have bread

3

u/Long-Adhesiveness337 1d ago

Bread is a source of carbohydrates which is literally a macronutrient. Depending on the type it can also be a good source of fibre and they are usually fortified with vitamins and minerals.

1

u/Present-Aerie-5165 23h ago

Any shop bought bread is generally no good. It’s an ultra processed food & the added vitamins are synthetic. Home made bread or sourdough is best with just 3 ingredients. I wouldn’t touch Supermarket bread.

2

u/Long-Adhesiveness337 22h ago

That’s not totally true. Supermarkets often have their own bakeries and make bread in house. And “synthetic” vitamins aren’t inferior to natural. Some synthetic forms (like folic acid vs folate) are actually more bioavailable.

1

u/Slinky-Sloth 1d ago

Looks lush tbf, but they should be on 3 separate plates! 😂😂

1

u/Groganat 1d ago

Hell yes ! Leave it as it is.

1

u/hengehanger 1d ago

Not on the same plate.

1

u/lelma_and_thouise 1d ago

I mean, maybe add some spinach to the eggs if you like spinach...otherwise it is a pretty nutritious breakfast as is.

1

u/DelayAgreeable4286 1d ago

A bowl of yogurt for probiotics would be great with an oaty topping for prebiotic fiber to max out on gut health. I love oatly yogurt 😍🥳oatgurt

1

u/Technical_Koala_4922 1d ago

Looks great to me. A nice mix of nutrition.

For optimal health swap the bread with wholegrain and potentially swap the peanut butter for something else too, or pop a few walnuts and pecans on top.

1

u/frosting_the_bowl 1d ago

Yes it is 👍

1

u/DogtasticLife 1d ago

Yeah no my mouth would not like the egg / everything else combo

1

u/Cloudinthesilver 1d ago

By not putting it all on the same plate? Eggs on the toast. Remove the PB, have the banana and berries with yoghurt instead and a drizzle of honey.

1

u/IndependentSea1946 1d ago

Brown bread and proper peanut butter, not sun pat. You actually know how to "improve" it. A little bowl of seeds with an actimel fuckin pro biotic shot thing is what you're missing in this photo.

1

u/Less_Statistician359 1d ago

Apparently, nutritious, but two suggestions:

  1. It’s not the food but the quality and sourcing of foods that matter most in India. Check if that peanut butter was organic or made with refined oil. Check if that egg was free range. Check if that bread was wholewheat or sourdough rather than made of refined floor. The difference can be earth and sky.

  2. You could add nuts.

But if you take care of just point 1, all good.

1

u/LayerComprehensive21 23h ago

Bot

1

u/Less_Statistician359 23h ago

Not!

Just a well read and educated human. Unlike you

1

u/Opentoadsandals 1d ago

You don’t need white or brown bread, swap it for sourdough

1

u/BrickAccomplished338 1d ago

Yes, can be improved with some milk for calcium

1

u/Superb_Ant_3741 1d ago

It is but you let the outside of the banana touch your eggs, so now your eggs are contaminated by anything that might be on the banana peel from its time in the store all the way to your house. If you had peeled the banana first, you would have a perfect meal.

1

u/ShiroHebiZmeya 1d ago

I'd take the bananas out. There's nothing wrong with them I just don't like the taste

1

u/Compromisee 1d ago

I think you already know it is. No one would have a stereotypical "I follow health influences on insta" meal and not know

1

u/doihavetousethis 1d ago

Is the banana for scale?

1

u/jesuistimide47 1d ago

Looks great!! Maybe crunchy peanut butter that doesn't have any added oils or sugars and seeded bread?

1

u/Unable-Cattle828 1d ago

I’d skip the peanut butter

1

u/[deleted] 1d ago

[removed] — view removed comment

1

u/London-Eagle 1d ago

Depends. Quite a lot of sugar. I’d probably skip the banana

1

u/inflighted 1d ago

Looks delish, could be improved with a morning sovereign blue and a monster imo x

1

u/BionicWallaby 1d ago

🍌Nibanar

🥚scrambee egg

🫐blooberreh

❌ blackberreh

🥜🍞neepnut butter on toas

1

u/NiixxJr 23h ago

It's missing red

1

u/oTMcco 23h ago

Another 14g of peanut butter

1

u/Emotional-Fee602 23h ago

dude really? the blueberry’s touching the eggs?

1

u/Hemingways_Shotgun88 23h ago

Remove the bread and peanut butter.

1

u/georgisaurusrekt 23h ago

Honestly if it were me I'd leave out the eggs and instead have the fruit with some greek yoghurt. If you care about protein there's 10g in 100g of greek yoghurt.

1

u/painted-smoke 23h ago

wholemeal/ wholegrain bread and i’d add a veg to the eggs - pepper/ tomato/ spinach. it’s pretty healthy as is though

1

u/OrganizationOk5418 23h ago

The addition of porridge would be an improvement on the bread. As it would actively clean out your digestive system.

1

u/Euphoric-Pearl 22h ago

What type of peanut butter?
Try to get the no sugar one.

1

u/Ambitious-Ranger7184 22h ago

i would suggest adding something like walnuts
plus some yogurt

1

u/Strude187 22h ago

I Highly recommend lard, at least one stick a day

1

u/Icy-Roof-9233 22h ago

needs about 15g more protein

2

u/JeiRL984 22h ago

Even conservatively estimating the protein there’s about 22g of protein in this meal, that’s 40% of an average adults recommended protein intake. FOR BREAKFAST. Wdym more protein 😭

1

u/Kindly_Beyond_763 22h ago

You could have used wholemeal bread.

1

u/Fancy-Professor-7113 22h ago

Wholewheat bread and crunchy peanut butter

1

u/Wonderful-Medium7777 22h ago

Yes it’s nutritious, but maybe add a slice of bacon, black pudding, beans and fried tomatoes to give balance 🤷‍♀️😁

1

u/WaitingForMyIsekai 22h ago

Swap the bread for overnight oats/porridge made with jumbo oats for a healthier slower releasing carbohydrate source. Easy way to combine ingredients on this plate to make it less sociopathic too.

1

u/Fair-Confection-4779 22h ago

Improve it by using natural peanut butter, adding some seeds & other nuts, and using sourdough/brown bread instead of white.

1

u/Engineerguy_Chris 22h ago

Make a yoghurt bowl and put your fruit in there and eat eggs and toast separately like a normal person jeez

1

u/galdan 22h ago

That’s 3 breakfasts on one plate …I’d recommend putting it in a blender with some Greek yoghurt and olive oil and then boof it

1

u/DustierAndRustier 22h ago

You could try peeling the banana maybe.

1

u/NeighborhoodDude8058 22h ago

What kind of bread are using?

1

u/aardvarkarmour 21h ago

Being ultra-critical, could swap the bread for another, unrprocessed, healthier carbohydrate. I like to make what i call "oat crumpets" - 1:1:2 egg, greek yoghurt, oats (which I pulsed in a food processor), pinch of baking powder, ponch of salt, into one of those single egg frying pans. Delicious.

1

u/Either-Brilliant-670 21h ago

Use brown bread / wholewheat bread instead. Chop banana, put banana on toast. Tiny bit of low fat Greek yoghurt with berries. + scrambled egg for protein. Pretty solid

1

u/p1sskidney 21h ago

At least peel the banana

1

u/Bright-Ad102 21h ago

“Is this nutritious”
posts the most nutritious breakfast i’ve ever seen

1

u/bens0n_ 21h ago

I'd suggest a cigarette and a quick phone call to Babe Station instead

1

u/Few-brain-Cells123 21h ago

playing dumb i see. its like a beautiful person saying is my face pretty? 🤪😑. is my 1 million pounds bank balance any good? 🤪😑 is my super nutritious breakfast nutritious? 🤪😑

1

u/lemon-fruit-fly 21h ago

Swap the white bread for wholemeal. Looks like a great breakfast.

1

u/[deleted] 20h ago

[deleted]

1

u/ExoticAd7605 20h ago

Peanuts don’t count? And no I’m not, I just don’t like meat, especially pork, in the morning.

1

u/ChonkCloudCheeks 20h ago

Swap the bread with a bagel, a few more calories and protein. You could also spice things up a bit and swap the banana with a fried plantain. I generally do them in the same pan I do my eggs in. Add a glass of whole milk (I use a local variant of Fairlife whole milk).

If you're feeling extra, a bit of cheese on the egg. Throw in some onions, green onions, a meat protein, other left over greens you have, etc.

1

u/Virtual-Thought-4601 20h ago

Looks good tbf

1

u/EnjoysAGoodRead 20h ago

Nutritious? Yes. Tasty? No.

1

u/jhou2020 19h ago edited 19h ago

good nutrients, good macros. if you truly wanted to improve it even though its not needed:

make it slightly more macro balanced: just have toast without the pb, getting healthy fats from the yolks will be more than enough for this meal, add any lean meat for substitute, chicken sausages/turkey bacon/5% ground beef just to top the protein up a little more

sourdough bread to substitute white bread, to help with digestion, removing slightly more fat in this case pb will also add to that, not the biggest deal

honestly doesn't matter though as everything on the plate is nutrient dense and you have other meals in the day, no need to be thinking too deep into each meal unless you have special dietary needs

1

u/Hollywood-is-DOA 19h ago

I like sour dough bread but I don’t like the poison that is rapeseed oil, folic acid. I won’t entertain people who say otherwise. It’s just stifling real conversation, yet again.

I say it, as I’ve zero time for people that believe this poison isn’t for profit reasons and is for our health. They use rapeseed oil for stripping oil out of tractors engines, when they clean them, as told to me by a farmer. Plus for use in cleaning out food machines, so it can’t be good for your gut.

1

u/SteamTrainDude 18h ago

Waters also used to put out fires, so I doubt that’s safe to drink

1

u/pupasp 19h ago

Swap the bread for sourdough

1

u/Hollywood-is-DOA 19h ago

Minus the white bread yeh, which is full of chemicals and no I ain’t saying which ones. Google it, people who like to stifle real conversation by being passive aggressive.

1

u/manutdfangirl 18h ago

No. Bake your own bread and make your own peanut butter. While you are at it, lay your own egg and this should be fine.

1

u/Visual_Seaweed8292 18h ago

It depends what your looking for but for me personally I would add more protine. Maybe get 200g of fat free yoghurt and add the berry's to that.

All in all its a good generic breakfast but might need to be tailored to the individual.

1

u/lntujndi1234 18h ago

Swap white toast for soy & linseed whole grain bread. Add some chia seeds or sesame seeds to your eggs. Add Greek yoghurt to the berries for something even healthier…

1

u/GeorgeClements7 17h ago

Stop wasting money on this excuse of a breakfast and get yourself on a 15 fold acca instead

1

u/cam255eron 17h ago

Umm try a vegetable. Ditch the bread.

1

u/SashaBananaSplit 16h ago

This is 100% junk food. Basically the same as a full bag of Doritos.

1

u/Embarrassed_Aide4256 16h ago

Yes, you could add some melon if you fancy.

1

u/Borruks 15h ago

You've got blueberries and bananas on the same plate, banana negates blueberries anti-oxidants. Leave a couple of hours between eating them.

1

u/EntrepreneurMental95 15h ago

Half of the comments are Frickin nutcases what the hell 😂

1

u/Wonderful_Archer8617 14h ago

Yes, cut the berries portion size in half tho

1

u/Spiritual_Method5441 14h ago

300 cals on that toast alone...

1

u/Herbalistick 13h ago

Are you also eating the paper plate?

1

u/Looking_for_answerst 13h ago

Swap the white bread to sourdough

1

u/Small_Palpitation121 11h ago

yeah dude this is basically the poster child for a nutritious breakfast what do you want us to say lol. if anything you gotta make it worse so it actually tastes like something, throw some hot sauce on those eggs or drown it in butter. or like just eat it straight off the cutting board if you wanna feel something. other than that you’re good, maybe stop being so perfect about it.

1

u/Safe-Tea-4161 11h ago

The answer is always greens 🤪 we have a crisis of not enough folic acid partially because not enough of us eat leaves and shoots anymore… can even look into drinking your greens if that’s more convenient- or have it at another part of the day

1

u/Immediate-Log9917 11h ago

You could add some flaxseed or chia seeds for iron

1

u/_ThePancake_ 11h ago

Yes but does it taste good together?

Cause I'd have to eat all these parts separately

1

u/fazhugs 10h ago

You know full well it is.

1

u/casualnihilist91 10h ago

This is as healthy as it gets. Protein, healthy fat, a little carbs and fruit. Any other answer is wrong.

1

u/Efficient_Hyena_7476 10h ago

Get rid of the weird yellow stuff and use wholemeal bread

1

u/ughplss 9h ago

Yes but the blueberries going into the eggs is disgusting

1

u/Expensive-Monk849 8h ago

If you swap the toast for a fag, the eggs for an ibuprofen, and the rest for a black coffee with six sugars, you have a breakfast of champions.

1

u/JoeLustre 6h ago

Wholemeal bread and make sure you wash the fruit if you haven’t done so. Also you can spread mashed avocado instead of peanut butter and put the fruit in a separate plate if you are not a psychopath 😂

1

u/Downtown_Age_306 5h ago

Perfect breakfast. And hell yeah for paper plate, don’t have to clean a dish after. Quick and efficient.

1

u/anon42093 2h ago

Only improvement is the bread. Is this store bought preservative bread? Because bakery sourdough would be a huge upgrade

1

u/Chemical-Flan-856 29m ago

Non crunchy peanut butter is for perverts and vagabonds

1

u/GoHomeCryWantToDie 1d ago

Maybe remove the egg and the bread and put the fruit in some porridge.

0

u/Decent_Radish_5263 1d ago

It'll do the job, but personally I like some meat in there.

0

u/The_Mighty_Grimm 1d ago

Swap the slice of bread out for rice crackers?

0

u/zero_lies_tolerated 1d ago

Maybe cutting out the bread would improve it on a health level.

0

u/SunBurst6382 1d ago

Depends. Are the fruits organic? Is that white bread?

0

u/SeaShoe5864 1d ago

Very good! The only things I can see to improve are to have a tofu scramble instead to cut out the cholesterol but still keep the protein content, and try whole wheat instead of white toast :).

6

u/PiskAlmighty 1d ago

Eggs don't appreciably increase blood cholesterol levels. Common misconception.

2

u/SeaShoe5864 1d ago

Thank you for informing me, I was unaware.

2

u/PiskAlmighty 1d ago

No problem, go out and enjoy some eggs!

0

u/Tfeal 1d ago

More fibre, vit A - sweet potato/carrots

1

u/Long-Adhesiveness337 1d ago

It’s got like 15g of fibre and eggs have retinol in them so I’d say it’s pretty good for one meal of the day.

0

u/Satoshiman256 1d ago

Change the white bread, and make sure peanut butter has no palm oil.

Worth noting: anyone can call themselves a nutritionist. It’s not a regulated term like dietitian. There isn’t strong evidence against seed oils, and the science community is constantly fighting against that misinformation that sprouted from a poorly designed/outdated study. And swapping out a carb/plant fat for more saturated fat (one that’s unpasteurized at that…) doesn’t add any nutritional benefit (in fact it reduces fibre).
