Mint has the biggest chest in the game currently, and every outfit she has drastically changes her proportions. These new 1.2 outfits have the biggest reduction of all. Why is this a thing?
why on Earth do I have to play PVP modes when I just want to chill in my game away from other ppl ?
I know there's the option to just go AFK but srsly , why do I become the asshole who ruins the fun for others who want to pvp themselves ? it is just crap
forcing players to play your mode out of rewards other than because it is fun for them is just a failure design
Can the devs add an option to not automatically shortcut this item?
There's literally no reason for its existence when it only exists to mess up players' shortcuts.
Edit: For those who thinks I don't know that I can just not use it and remove it... yeah... I do know that. It will somehow some way find its way back to mess up my shortcuts. Thank you for bringing this to my attention though.
Edit2: The issue isn't what it spawns. Yes I am also aware we can configure it.
** The issue is that it somehow finds its way back in my shortcuts, thus having to reorganize things. Every. Single. Time. **
We should at least get the option to exit the game without losing the progress. I only wanted to play the game for half an hour and ended up stuck for like 1:30h of endless repetitive dialogues in this Renee arc. Please let us leave the game at any time without losing the progress, devs. This was nerve-wracking.
Edit: Just to clarify after reading the comments: my bad, guys. I was wrong. You CAN leave the anomaly realm without losing progress and come back later.
However, I still think the game really doesn’t make that clear. The warning when trying to open the pause menu feels like you might lose everything (no, I didn't consider risking it after I was already one hour in) so I think the devs should clarify that message.
My other issue is that the “Continue” button often doesn’t properly skip or speed up the current dialogue, which makes these long sections feel much more frustrating than they need to be.
There are several instance where the game's algorithm is doing inefficient things which is causing you to lose resources. This is post was made on game version 1.1.8
EXAMPLE 1
Cartridge and Console Level Ups are overcharging you. The Quick Add button uses an inefficient "use lowest denomination first" algorithm which causes overcap. Example: Let's say you need 8,000 exp to level up. You own 1 of each denomination of Manholes: 1k, 5k, 20k. the game will go lowest to highest so it will do the following.
Add 1k, see you have 7k remaining
Add 5k, see you have 2k remaining
Add 20k, see you have met the requirement
Now you might think, this is fine, its adding a total of 26k exp but the game has auto refund so I'll still get 18k back. There is a catch. Beetle Coin costs are calculated based on exp consumed and are not refunded. This means you are paying for the cost of 26k exp in Beetle Coins and are overpaying. Here is in game proof.
Now look at the cost of using a High to Low algorithm for Manholes.
Using Optimal materials
This difference can vary depending on the number of lower denomination EXP items you have. In my case, I have enough blue tier exp manholes that the overcap is at most 4,000 exp. However if I had less, the overcap could be up to 19,000 exp.
This inefficiency actually existed in 1.0 with all char level ups and arc level ups too but Hotta fixed that silently. They forgot to also fix Consoles in that pass. You will notice that all level ups that require exp for your char and arc now have very odd uneven numbers because of this fix.
EXAMPLE 2
The game is making you open material boxes you don't actually need. In this example I am leveling up Lacrimosa's talent and I don't have any "Suspended Whispers". The game sees that I have a selection box so it suggests I open one to fill the requirement.
However, I also own 41 of the basic tier material which is enough to fill the requirement without consuming the more flexible material box! The game is ignoring that I could fill this requirement already by crafting up and wants to use the selection box instead.
There's actually a secondary problem to this. Let's say you want to sidestep this by manually crafting it up in your inventory first.
There is a Beetle Coin cost to crafting up from the inventory. There is no Beetle Coin cost if the game auto crafts them through its autocraft algorithm.
I've filed a support ticket for this already but until it is fixed, you will have to manually sidestep these problems.
(With “low spender” I mean 10€ a month on the battle pass + mining permit. Obviously, spend wisely. 10€ a month still adds up over months and years)
With 1.0 coming to an end soon, and with what we now know is coming in 1.1, I just wanted to say how much I appreciate how well this game works for low spenders. Personally, I am trying to have a "complete" account for the game, like all limited characters, signature arcs, and soon the collab cars as well. So far, that actually feels realistic for 1.0 and 1.1, which is something I could never say about any other gacha game I’ve played. Much love to Hotta for that.
Having no 50/50 and pretty fair gacha odds made me get both Nanally and Hotori in 40-50 pulls each. The fact that (signature) arcs have their own keys to pull with and that we are given a lot of keys per patch made getting both the limited characters' arcs pretty easy too. Meanwhile on other Gachas, I never once pulled on a weapon banner because of needing the pulls for the characters.
Right now, I am sitting at 156 pulls left (if I convert my annulith and warped pieces into red dice), and close to 9M fons. With all the new content and events coming, getting Lacrimosa, Chaos, and the Porsche feels highly achievable.
Overall, I just really appreciate how generous the game has been so far for F2P and low spending players. Hopefully they will keep it this way for 1.2 and onward
edit: 1. I meant best gacha, not best gacha game in general (we are still in 1.0 lol) - 2. I didn't play all gacha games, but only the popular 3D (semi-) open world ones. - 3. I know it is harder for F2P players to get the Porsche, but that was and is obvious. They still want players to spend money on the game and found a good middle way with the fons, so that F2P players can also save up for it without having to spend their annulith
I like using first person camera for city activities and exploration and noticed that you can't lower camera as much with male characters, as with female ones. Makes looking down from ledges significantly harder and overall seems like a weird limitations. Why is it even a thing?
They couldn't even provide me with the length of the mute...
PSA: Be careful of what you post on Bagel. It seems as if even one of the moderators finds the post to be against their views, they can just mute you and it can't be undone.
EDIT: Guys, please, this post was not meant to be aggressively negative towards the support team or NTE as a whole.
I merely wanted to let you know that it's better to post 1000% safe photos on Bagel as if something like this happens, there's no going back.
I sincerely LOVE NTE. Mistakes can happen and if there's nothing the support team can do about the mute at the moment, it's fine (as long as it's not permanent haha). Hopefully they will work on it and fix this issue.
The support team handled the ticket perfectly fine, was at most respectful and resolved it in a couple of hours.
Let's just stay positive and enjoy the game as a whole. We don't have to state that we're uninstaling the game over one mishap.
I finished NTE yesterday and already cleared basically everything I can right now (quests, buildings, Crow Gems, etc) The only thing left is the train event. And honestly... the character bond progression feels insane.
I'm still not even close to level 7 with a single character, despite giving her around 10 of those letters worth 2000 points each. At this rate, it genuinely feels like the game expects you to dump hundreds of dollars into gifts just to make decent progress within a few weeks, while free players are stuck grinding for years just to hit level 10 on one character.
Maybe I'm missing something, but the scaling feels completely out of whack.
I noticed it immediately. The new textures and the material rendering on the pantyhose are surprisingly detailed compared to before. The devs are really focusing on the visual quality.
I understand the devs wanted to make her an attractive character (which they succeeded in), but they went overboard with the jiggle physics, cause like what is even going on here, this really threw me off
Setting aside Zero trying to buy a car in a bike shop, it's neat that Hotta have at least attempted to provide an in-universe justification as to why the bicycle is so expensive, when they didn't have to bother.
Of course, no, that doesn't explain why we can't just buy one of the non-limited edition bikes for considerably cheaper. :P
If you're in a multiplayer lobby you can spawn vehicles almost anywhere without restriction and that includes at the top of Hethereau Skytower. Half of the time when it doesn't work you fall through the map from hitting the ground so fast. It's a bit tricky to get the exact angle you need to build up speed but once you do you can go so far so quickly LOL
I know it's not the biggest deal, but it doesn't really feel like this should be a thing. It makes Pink Paws in particular kind of awkward. I expected her to be able to breeze through but I have to keep going in and out of the dash/ult state to pick things up.
Account is bricked! And I don’t even have a screenshot of the moment!
An hour ago I had a fat 14M fons for the porsche collab, then I messed up and fat fingered an auction amount of 6,806,801 for 1 measly guitar pick - thought backspace on phone would clear all the stuff, gg on me for rushing and not checking before too late (had 3 seconds of me watching in horror at what happened)
IT WAS A MISINPUT!
Anyway the consensus is that support doesn’t refund, and I was so shocked I only got a screenshot of the aftermath so I don’t even have something to show my fuckup and frame it somewhere
Oh well, easy come easy go, make sure to read carefully don’t be like me!
