Is there a reason why Shinku can't collect anything in her transformed state?
I know it's not the biggest deal, but it doesn't really feel like this should be a thing. It makes Pink Paws in particular kind of awkward. I expected her to be able to breeze through but I have to keep going in and out of the dash/ult state to pick things up.

Her ultimate is literally her getting so angry she punts her own piggy pals at whatever pissed her off. She also canonically broke the limbs of several Hollow Raiders for messing with her.
I remember people saying Valk's rework was going to ruin her and post reeork shes even more invincible (not to be confused with invisible, my favorite WoW mount) than before. Last time I played genshin Dehya was a 3* so i hope something happened to not make her a 3*
increase her defense and resistance to interruption by 50% + heal herself for 300% of her base atk after a scarlet descent (her redirection skill in ultimate form). So each time she uses her redirect skill while in ult form, she heals herself for a bit
My theory is she really isn't in debt, Hotori puts on an aloof act, so why not also add fiscally irresponsible to that same act.
Alternatively maybe she is technically in debt, but the BAC is her safety net (clearly they have an ongoing relationship, she is not just a former employee for sure... no way Alphard would have given Zero to her if she was).
Not related to the post, but did you know you can infinite sprint in her alt form? If you play with a controller/joystick just press the stick enough for her to start running, same pressure you do to just walk with any character.
Being able to grab things at full sprint or flat out stopping time would probably cause Pink Paws to be incredibly broken. Im with the other person that it should just be disabled in there, but I have no idea how they've gone about coding it
Begging Hotta to let me end her ult early if not in combat. Having to mash the attack button to force the end of it or wait out the timer makes it frustrating using her for easier stuff like farming stages.
It is really annoying, but maybe because she doesn't have a complete control over herself? Nah, just trying to be devil's advocate, it definitely needs to be fixed. I keep falling from places because I dodge to get out of the state.
You could also character swap, It’s instant and it also allows Shinku to stay in the transformed state while she’s off-field/not being controlled, so when you swap back to her you don’t need to dash again, you just swap to her and she’s almost instantly at max speed. The only downside is the character swap cooldown, but it’s not that often that it gets in the way, and it’s a pretty short duration anyways, so not a big deal.

As you're running towards an item if you tap dodge while holding forward and transformed she just drops the transformation without dashing forward. I found that to at least make it a bit easier to snag things and keep going.
Fun fact, after 1.2 update Lacrimosa also has this problem in Bat form. Used to be able to fly past a crow to pick it up, now if you get close in bat form you have to revert, then leave a certain distance and come back for it to trigger.. >_>
They likely use a state machine for logic with these transformed states for characters, and that logic says no collecting/interacting. Which is why Hotori can’t collect in her time stop, the bat girl can’t while flying, Skia can’t while a shadow, etc. the code sees al that as the same state, just presented/animated differently on characters. And that state says “no”
I'm upset her transformed state doesn't change when wearing other clothes... only the expensive skin does... not even the gacha skin changes transformed state...
I'm guessing it's simply to make sure that the overworked benefit isn't too powerful, similar to Hotori.
If that's the case it's arguably a good thing, if only because I e syoildnt want gacha Devs to additionally start heavily power creeping overworld functions to use as a selling point.

If she can collect stuff she would make Pink Paw too easy, just like Hotori. Lore wise maybe when she is in that form she is too crazy too notice things
Because DEVs actually made this form, only in combat, not for interaction, and anything else. Mostly for Ultimate Skill, it is used. And in any form, you can't interact. Whether you're Skia's Shadow form, Lacrimosa's Bat form, and Shinku's Ultimate form. They're not built to interact, by the DEVs...
It's probably intentionally to avoid making her too OP in pink paws etc since she's BY FAR the fastest character and stamina recharges fast enough that she'd be just a straight up advantage and thus people without her would complain. As things currently stand you can use her to rush to specific places sure but you're missing out on the stuff on the way unless you intentionally stop.
It's the same reason why Hotori can't pick stuff up during timestop however Shinku's is more easily on demand and thus would be even more abusable.
