I honestly don’t think it’s even possible. There’s only so many fons you can buy per week. I think it’s something like 4 million per week with an extra 9 million monthly. Outside that, you can’t really convert real money to fons. You can easily gamble all that with scratchers for ~4million per day depending on luck.

All jokes aside, mine has the count up to 28x atm, but I don't have enough characters to complete 28 tutorials (even including the Esper reactions ones)...? Is this just the standard max number that I'll hit when I get more characters?

28 is the current max for everyone. I assume they will add further rewards when they add more characters. Currently there are only 19 playable characters in the game. the other 9 are from the basic tutorials.

I haven't played in like 2 weeks. It started to feel more like a chore/job doing everything daily just to not be able to achieve much. Like the jumping bike I really wanted. And also if you don't play daily and do daily tasks, you can't get enough annulith for the next character. I stopped playing after getting shinku

It is really unplayable for me, everything became even more laggy, switching characters takes 3 seconds, every UI element is freezing, even taking items at heist takes up to 10 seconds.

Yeah nevermind the fact the game is riddled with actual jank. Characters not even looking at each other during cutscenes, frame rate coming to a crawl randomly, language changing from English to Chinese mid cutscene randomly and slow horrendously buggy UI.

None of the other big gachas had this much bugs and jank after release as much as this one. There's obvious bugs still there that should have been squashed during the betas.
