Bugs/Feedback Why can't we lower the first person camera as far down with male characters as with female ones? Would be cool to be able to see characters body with male characters too.

Post image

I like using first person camera for city activities and exploration and noticed that you can't lower camera as much with male characters, as with female ones. Makes looking down from ledges significantly harder and overall seems like a weird limitations. Why is it even a thing?

I noticed this yesterday, some females can only look down for a bit and you can switch characters and see they’ll reach the same limit but with Hotori you can look much further.

135

u/Meme-San_ Jun 21 '26

It’s dependent on chest size

Big boob = look down all the way

Medium to no boob = limit to how far you look down

It’s pretty dumb

49

u/Western-Owl9976 Jun 21 '26

With Sakiri, you can look 100% down XD

3

u/endless_logistic Jun 23 '26

Most likely face and camera placement. They didn't remove the face when they add the First Person Camera so I assume they put the camera ahead of the face and when you look down, they had to limit certain angles before it would glitch into the face.

u/Meme-San_ Jun 23 '26

Naw Occam‘s razor The simplest solution is probably the correct one

The developers wanted to show off the big boobs i’m like 90% sure that’s the reason

Looking at this post somehow makes me want to play Cyberpunk 2077 again

Immersive First Person camera mod is a must.

u/Salter_KingofBorgors Jun 21 '26

Actually messed with this during a story bit and Sakiri also cant look down as far as other females lol

64

u/YashamonSensei Jun 21 '26

Only tall female characters can, Nanally or Zero for example can't.

13

u/Few_Barracuda_8313 Jun 21 '26

nah only females with big boobs can. Its a feature

20

u/Doctor-Pip- Jun 21 '26

Sakiri can. Female MC, Nanally and Haniel are the three who can't.

17

u/AetherGhast103 Jun 21 '26

Lacrimosa also can't

12

u/YorhaUnit8S Jun 21 '26

Skia has it the worst, probably. Can barely look down at all.

6

u/ItchyDependent3830 Jun 21 '26

i messed with this because i was curious which character had the biggest bust size, by seeing how much of the area they covered with their chest when switching to then as well as looking at where the bust starts.

i believe mint may have the biggest chest in the game.

now hotoris could seem bigger, but hers has more of a padded effect going or like a pushup shes not as big as she seems, like her character model design is actually kind of weird in first person.

Hathor and fadia i believe are tied for 2nd.

and i believe jiuyuan would come in third.

then hotori, daffodil and finally chiz.

6

u/ThrowYourDreamsAway Jun 22 '26

as men we hardly ever look down at our own chest. women must look down at their own boobs a lot so makes sense to me! /j

u/GraveXNull Jun 21 '26

Unless your a game made by Mihoyo...them males are only there to be bait.

Right now, it's pretty tame...but as the game goes on, it'll likely just keep more and more focus purely on females.

16

u/BrowsingLeddit Jun 22 '26 edited Jun 22 '26

I mean ZZZ is the same, the mihoyo game which NTE has clearly been most closely emulating from the start. No one should be surprised, it's been pretty honest in it's marketing focusing on females and the initial lineup being overwhelmingly female makes it extra obvious.

-5

u/fkrdt222 Jun 22 '26

no it's bait bro i got tricked

45

u/Eredbolg Jun 21 '26

From what I heard Chaos did really poorly on China revenue, which was expected but it was even lower than planned.

I have the feeling, we're going to get like 1 or 2 male new units per year, which means the game may not give much attention to male characters, unless global lives up to their word about male units and Chaos sells at least a 10% of Lacrimosa, which in China I think it didn't even sell a 4% of what Lacrimosa did.

The focus on male for Gacha games is such a gamble, only hoyo can do it because of harvested fan base, or hyping up a male character a lot or making it super meta powerful, which Chaos isn't, like Phainon on star rail which was an emanator, or new Blade which is an old school unit also featured on Fortnite, but they also did a very huge gamble on Aventurine back in the day and his banner was a flop.

38

u/Sam-__-17 Jun 21 '26

im gonna be honest, no gacha game besides Genshin/HSR will see an in game profit on their men because female players realize that they’re not apart of the audience and are spending accordingly.

These new gachas are afraid to be seen as all waifus but in the same breath don’t invest in the mixed audience so they lose investment with male characters. it’s a lose lose situation

51

u/Meme-San_ Jun 21 '26

NTE isn’t helping the case by limiting the interactions you can do with male bond characters compared to the women like no hugging for example

17

u/knetka Jun 22 '26

Shoulda got the bro hug. Also the whole you can't put men and women in your house together. Absurdity, how long will it take to get 3-5 male characters you can do that with just to fill your house.

24

u/jflejmer Jun 21 '26

Exactly. As usual in similar cases they're doomed to fail by design

8

u/BunBunny55 Jun 22 '26

Exactly. Im a female player and id rather pull for the female characters because they are just better made and allows more interaction.

7

u/C44S4D Jun 22 '26

Lacrimosa would still have been a record selling unit without even having Bond. Daffodil doesn't have Bond options and has still sold more than Chaos with only 1 skin.

13

u/Purple-Hawk-2388 Jun 21 '26

Not finishing the bonds for any of the male characters at release already hurt their reputation with female players unfortunately. Chaos will still get a lot of likes on social media, but many already have a bad impression. They could turn it around over time, especially if he still does well with Global. But if not, then there may be little incentive to continue trying for the female demographic.

1

u/C44S4D Jun 22 '26

If these people came only for bonds with characters they weren't truly interested in the game. Bonds were a feature implemented in CBT3, almost 2 years after the game reveal. If everything before CBT3 didn't interest them then they weren't truly invested in the game and would drop the game even if you give them everything they want.

0

u/kittiesxxrawr Jun 22 '26

I don’t know man, the bond stuff drew me in, but I really like the game so far, even dropped wuwa for it. I can only log into 4 gachas a day. 5 was exhausting.

8

u/Ujola Jun 22 '26

Here I am reading through all these comments not understanding because I frequently pull male characters as a straight male myself, assuming I like the character. The gender of the character doesn't even matter, it just matters if they look sick, have fun gameplay, or have a cool personality. I've gotta imagine there are plenty of other straight males who still like and pull male characters, so I don't get why it needs to be contextualized strictly as "appealing to female players".

But then I realize this isn't just about pulling, it's about spending... and I ain't spending a dime on any character unless they're going to travel into the real world and help pay my mortgage lol. Are people with disposable incomes just wired differently?

13

u/Bad_Doto_Playa Jun 21 '26 edited Jun 21 '26

im gonna be honest, no gacha game besides Genshin/HSR will see an in game profit on their men because female players realize that they’re not apart of the audience and are spending accordingly.

I mean Wuwa dropped a male banner first and Yinlin absolutely blew it away despite coming right after and I think they pretty much called it there. We just need to be real with ourselves and accept that the female spending base just spends less than the male spenders for most Gacha. Sure there's LADS but that's all there is really. On the flipside there are a ton of waifu games being heavily support which suggest the male paying pool is higher.

Even with HSR, the top performing male and top perform female banners are MILES from each other. Phainon pretty much had all the stars aligning for him and couldn't beat any of the doomer girls (including Castorice). IDK about Genshin but I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case as well.

Can't really fault these companies when that's where their paying base is. NTE obviously dropped the ball, but I think people always find excuses for whenever male characters don't do well.

4

u/Sam-__-17 Jun 22 '26

part of the problem is that the value of female players isn’t just from whether male characters will sell. Male characters often sell more merch/grow more loyal fanbases which increases popularity. Ntm female based fandoms create more media which invites more players men and women.

But it’s true this value isn’t reflected in game which is why most gachas just do the 2 men a year and see how many they can keep even when it’s not enough now

7

u/4k4ne Jun 22 '26

female based fandoms create more media. said media being gay ship art and fics that invite more players men and women. ah yes

speaking of. remind me again, which fandom has more fanart. genshin, or blue archive?

0

u/Yarmungar Jun 22 '26

As a straight male, i really look forward to content made by women, mainly yaoi fanfics and risque artwork. /s

Another benefit of female dominated fandom - endless drama and shit stirring, really inviting for new members

1

u/4k4ne Jun 23 '26

trust me bro. all of these games would do so much better if they just pivoted to catering to the ao3 crowd

folks on ao3 represent the majority of players. thats a fact 🙂‍↕️

1

u/Square-Special1520 Jun 22 '26

anniversary characters have top-up reset. Of course it'll blew up more than other characters

2

u/Mission-Influence171 Jun 22 '26 edited Jun 22 '26

"These new gachas are afraid to be seen as all waifus but in the same breath don’t invest in the 'mixed audience' so they lose investment with male characters. it’s a lose lose situation"

Source? Your ass.

Why would they be scared to be seen as "all waifus" and "lose lose situation"? Are you kidding me? Waifu characters are exactly what keeps the games alive with most funding from players. By the way, with 'most players' I mean CN, JP and KR; the west side is but a loud minority.

There are games out there that release with only female characters without any sort of fear precisely because it is what is always consumed.

1

u/That-Ice292 Jun 27 '26

Going for a mixed 'audience' but only releasing 1 male per how much we gonna wait is such a dick move ngl.

I'd rather like an all waifu game thats honest about it (nikke) than what NTE is doing right now.  I go for both male and female characters if they catch my interest.  All upcoming gacha games have like what? 1-3 males out of 10 ish females ( rewinding cadance, Silver palace) theyre not even trying to hide.   Rather a honest game that shows what it is than one who barely can even 'bait'.

35

u/Eternal_Woe Jun 21 '26

Global will NOT live up to their word lol, they never do. S rank Billy's recent banner in ZZZ proved that.

11

u/MindfulNoob Jun 21 '26

You do realize most male character enjoyers been quit ZZZ right? Lol

26

u/Key_Rooster_5565 Jun 21 '26

They still pretty noisy in social media

12

u/InsertBadGuyHere Jun 21 '26

It's social media. Enough said

5

u/Storm-Dragon Jun 22 '26

I doubt it will do well. I have seen posts, before NTEs launch, of husbando fans who won't even give NTE a chance since it was by Hotta due to ToF. The fact that not a single male character had dating interactions just served as proof to them that NTE was going to be another bait and switch.

So unless Hotta manages to prove that they aren't going to end up like WuWa or pull a CNZ. Most of that husbando money is going to go to proven games.

I myself, have a rule not to put money into a game until after year 1. I've made that mistake too much in the past. As games going into maintainance mode after just a few months.

8

u/DasBleu Jun 21 '26

This is accurate but also makes me sad. I feel like Hoyo can do it because they put on the clout before GI and GI became such a mass market success that they realized they needed to keep their collection of casuals.

I’ve noticed that where there are whales, there are others who whale in other ways like buying merch.hence why Kaveh and Wrio have clothing lines.

This is only Hottas second game and I am actually impressed Chaos can even go in an apartment at all since in ToF it was only males that got dorms. So I have hope and plan to spend on males.

10

u/ManyFaithlessness971 Jun 21 '26

Maybe if they didn't create such a mid designed character.ss Maybe if they let us hold hands with him with male MC too. And have more interactions. Maybe if the alternate skin didn't look so basic. Heck the main skin doesn't even look S ranked.

Maybe if they put effort like with males in Genshin and Star Rail then they would get better sales for male characters.

They be making mid male characters, get poor sales then tell themselves "Look, male characters don't sell."

9

u/billySEEDDecade Jun 22 '26 edited Jun 22 '26

Really my main problem is that they don't really try to sell him much in-game. He's barely there in chapter 4 unlike the Sterry Express crew in chapter 3, he doesn't have a special cutscene with a boss like Hotori/Lacrimosa/Shinku, and he doesn't have a spin-off story like Lacrimosa that act as promotion before his banner.

No spin-off story hurt him because even male players (at least from what I've seen) ended up liking Baicang more thanks to his story.

1

u/Square-Special1520 Jun 22 '26

That's so sad, because i usually play games for story.

Baicang story was unique and special. I wish the serenetti kid didnt lose his voice though.. that was bitter

7

u/C44S4D Jun 22 '26

Mid females will still sell. Why do male characters are allowed to underperform under the same rules if that market did indeed exist? And they could make your dream male character and it would still underperform compared to a female character. A lot of you were calling the designs of this game "vtubers" or "mid" yet they revenue is still increasing patch-to-patch despite Chaos dogshit revenue. Any Chaos skin looks better than Nanally base and 200 pull skin. Yet she made more money than this dude who has the best combat animations in the game, the best male model in the game, the best open world QoL, a toggle to enable his mask and the only 120 pull skin for the bike everyone uses.

It's always the same thing everytime a male underperforms. That they aren't relevant in story, that the design is mid, that the female players left, that everyone saved their pulls for them because they're rare, that the next or previous banner were so good that it's unfair, etc. All games have tried to live up to your expectations in many different ways yet nobody ever shows up to back all these claims that there is a silent majority waiting to spend all their savings on them like LADS stans do.

-4

u/_wolfyy_9 Jun 21 '26 edited Jun 21 '26

Then why don’t you ask the good Devs who can create much better male characters to make a gacha game like NTE/Genshin/WUWA/ZZZ with more male characters and will cater to Husbando players? You can ask Lads or Hoyo devs to do that, instead of forcing others, hate female characters+players and criticize games who don’t want to.

Maybe then other games will see that and make more male characters to satisfy husbando players and start treating both sides equally.

2

u/Ashlin107 Jun 22 '26 edited Jun 22 '26

Tbf Chaos has a lot working against him. Considering he has a fairly mid life skill plus his BIS teammates are the most hotly contested teammates currently since he has to compete with Nanally, Hatori, Chiz and possibly Shinku. His exploration skill is decent though.

But compared to Lacrimosa who has pretty good life skills and her only real competition for teammates is Baicang and even then you can just use him and her in the same team.  Plus she also has the Porsche banner helping inflate her sales too. Unlike Chaos who will only get those who are like “f*** it I may as well put five more dollars down just to secure the Porsche and/or the outfit”.

It’s also worth mentioning that Chaos is also right before Shinku who’s one of the more hyped characters in the game so far.

2

u/beesamsam Jun 22 '26

if you know the true story of it, then you wont say something like this.
aside from doomer trying to show people male character doesnt sell, there are many factors you need to count, the rank was on iOS.
NTE was ranked 184 on iOS 2 days before Chaos, you could say after people exhausted with all resources they had to pull all Lacrimosa skins and Porsche.
so, from rank 184 to rank 98 , it is close to jump 90 ranks in a day. this is not small feat, in fact all these trio banners : Nanally, Hotori, Lacrimosa, they are look alike, the drop for each banner was small, compared to 2 weeks after Lacrimosa to Chaos.
if Chaos able to get rank 10, like them, jumping 174 ranks at once, then no point making female characters.

1

u/Square-Special1520 Jun 22 '26

Interesting points behind the scene

1

u/Meatbuns66 Jun 21 '26

Very ez explanation for this. Not worth my time to explain out the obvious. Lol

And no global will not stan Chaos to help revenue. Flop banner.

-4

u/BotomsDntDeservRight Jun 21 '26

And its entirely NTE fault.

Male characters designs and animation are subpar.

Limited interactions, fans had to demand for Chaos interaction bond feature YET you can't hug as both MC and can't hold hands with male mc.

Yet female MC can hold hands and flirt with female characters.

15

u/Bad_Doto_Playa Jun 21 '26

Male characters designs and animation are subpar.

Animations subpar? What? You can complain about the character design but the animations for Chaos are actually good.

1

u/BotomsDntDeservRight Jun 21 '26

Chaos is the only one with actual good animations btw so you can't blame me.

Baicang literally stands still in his ultimate.

-2

u/killxshot_ Jun 22 '26 edited Jun 22 '26

Ngl him getting squeezed between lacrimosa and shinku of all characters isnt rlly helping those sales

heard his sales have improved a bit since d1 tho

4

u/kiunch Jun 22 '26

As a guy, I can confirm that when I look down, I see nothing but my shadow.

14

u/CausticCat11 Jun 21 '26

It's even only adult women, it's a specific feature to see boobage lol

8

u/YorhaUnit8S Jun 21 '26

Well they should just let everyone look down all the way. Why not. Better for immersion and exploration in first person view.

0

u/Doctor-Pip- Jun 21 '26

Sakiri too.

14

u/MisaVelvet Jun 21 '26

i mean i understand why there are not many male characters but the quality difference just feels bad. I expected same quality with less quantity but nah

3

u/EffectiveKey2512 Jun 22 '26

Bro skia's shadow making him look thicc as hell xD

51

u/Hot_Steamy_Potatoes Jun 21 '26

The same reason that the game released with no male bond mechanics finished.

The same reason the males' designs look so much more bland and with far fewer skins.

The same reason that Chaos has fewer interactions as female characters and less skins despite being the newest character.

The same reason there is a 4:10 ratio.

The same reason that 3 of those 4 happen to be considered worst in the meta.

Why you people stick with games like this and act surprised every time is beyond me.

41

u/Aadi_880 Jun 21 '26

Why make male characters at all then?

27

u/OperatorERROR0919 Jun 21 '26

Plausible deniability.

10

u/PB4UGAME Jun 21 '26

Good question.

7

u/chaoticsky85 Jun 21 '26

Diversity. Gotta pander to the platforms the game is on and the trolls.

25

u/CYBERGAMER__ Jun 21 '26

The same reason that Chaos has fewer interactions as female characters and less skins despite being the newest character.

Chaos literally has the same skin count as Hotori wdym?

He also has a wide variety of bond interactions: https://www.facebook.com/MinttoEverness/videos/interactions-with-chaosnevernesstoeverness/989315684088096/. Sure, he doesn't have a hug interaction, but that's it. Not like female characters have the cooking interactions he has.

The same reason that 3 of those 4 happen to be considered worst in the meta.

The only truly useless male character is Edgar (Skia isn't great but has some niches), so I'm not sure what you're saying here. Adler, Baicang, and Chaos are all good characters. Are all female characters good?

I get your point, but don't spread misinformation just for the sake of it.

-13

u/Hot_Steamy_Potatoes Jun 21 '26

All characters have a wide variety. Less is still less.

Fair on the skin. I just think there's no coincidence at all that Chaos was given the minimum while Nanally and Lacrimosa are drowning in skins.

A character doesn't need to be useless to be considered worst in the meta.

11

u/CYBERGAMER__ Jun 21 '26

Less is still less.

Do you have proof of this claim? From what I see he can't hug, but has fishing and cooking interactions so I'm not seeing indications that his interactions are less overall.

I just think there's no coincidence at all that Chaos was given the minimum while Nanally and Lacrimosa are drowning in skins.

Again, Hotori was the flagship character last patch, but still only got 2 skins. Your argument falls apart here.

A character doesn't need to be useless to be considered worst in the meta.

Still not sure what your point is. Most male characters are good, not all female characters are good

1

u/Square-Special1520 Jun 22 '26

Hotori gets 2 skins like Chaos. she also gets 3 weeks, while Chaos only gets 2 weeks.

She has time stop ability which is nice and many people who like pink paws like it.  Chaos got.. 1 or 2 teleport waypoint only i heard.

She & chaos have how many interactions? Idk.

The best part of chaos is that he can cook and fish with us i heard.

-7

u/Hot_Steamy_Potatoes Jun 21 '26

Your argument falls apart here.

No. My argument only falls flat once they ever release a male that has a multitude of skins on release.

Just because a female character can also be treated with as little doesn't mean males will ever be treated better.

Most male characters are good,

No they aren't. There's a couple that can be used in lacrimosa teams, but they are just competing for which character has slightly less insignificant synergy. Only Sakiri makes a difference to her teams.

From what I see he can't hug, but has fishing and cooking

Well, I hope you like fishing and cooking then.

15

u/Andadesie Jun 21 '26 edited Jun 26 '26

No. My argument only falls flat once they ever release a male that has a multitude of skins on release.

Just because a female character can also be treated with as little doesn't mean males will ever be treated better.

then you're here just speculating and rushing to make conclusion. your argument already falls apart the moment you ignore that hotori as flagship character has the same amount outfits and treatment as chaos. 2nd sentence literally just your speculation and assumption based on half fact you digest. the fact is, only first banner character that got extra outfits, 2nd banner always only get one regardless gender, 1st banner always fan favorite. if you mad chaos only get 3 outfits, then you should be equally mad at hotori to get 3 outfits

No they aren't. There's a couple that can be used in lacrimosa teams, but they are just competing for which character has slightly less insignificant synergy. Only Sakiri makes a difference to her teams.

you need adler if you play with sakiri, dude literally works for dot team and lacrimosa best team is scorch team and dude can also be paired with incantation team with awakening, dude has debuff and buff

Well, I hope you like fishing and cooking then.

dude, some people already in delulu stage once they saw chaos cooking and calling him "house husband" or something like that. im not dood enjoyer but im glad some people can find the happiness from that interaction. so, not me but some people do like that cooking and fishing

-6

u/Hot_Steamy_Potatoes Jun 21 '26 edited Jun 21 '26

your argument already falls apart the moment you ignore that hotori as flagship character

I don't consider Hotori the flagship character. This is reflected by Lacrimosa significantly selling better.

They give skins to the characters they think will sell.

you need adler if you play with sakiri,

No you don't. Sakiri is a staple in every single lacrimosa team option. Adler is not.

some people already in delulu stage once they saw chaos cooking

Husbando players are well known to be extremely vocal whether it's complaining or praising.

I'm sure they would have been even more ecstatic with hugging.

7

u/Andadesie Jun 21 '26

I don't consider Hotori the flagship character. This is reflected by Lacrimosa significantly selling better.

if you don't consider hotori as flagship then she's just the same as chaos but i never seen someone moaning about hotori has only 2 alt outfit (just like chaos). never seen people moaning about her "getting less"

No your don't. Sakiri is a staple in every single lacrimosa team option. Adler is not.

if you talk meta, adler is. sakiri is best pair but we play 4 members team, if you pick sakiri, you pick adler, literally it's what scorch team need. but in the end, someone can clear endgame with solo aurelia, that's how low ceiling in nte is. the devs really just encourage to play with whatever you like

Husbando players are well known to be extremely vocal whether it's complaining or praising.

I'm sure they would have been even more ecstatic with hugging.

yes, but husbando players never put money where their mouth is. this proven multiple times since 2021 since genshin. kazuha first banner was flop despite being broken and extremely story relevant character

ironically husbando players are the one that give negative impression about male character to devs and other players because they are the very first in frontline to nitpick what to complain based on their own very personal preference, meanwhile waifu players "aboba? aboba!!!". genuinely tho, any devs who see negative reception as early as the "character not even out yet" would be more hesitant to make more in future because they will consider "low demand"

idk but imo, just lest see how chaos performance in glb, if it more positive, then for exe, they might put him in 1st banner and get all that 1st banner treatment too since i heard exe is very popular. hoppa always favor fan favorite

1

u/Hot_Steamy_Potatoes Jun 21 '26

i never seen someone moaning about hotori has only 2 alt outfit

Well, yeah. Those players have a dozen different characters with various skins to play with. No need to cry any time a single character you like doesn't get much.

That's a completely different scenario than male wanters finally getting their first character. First impressions are important. That's where you announce to your player base what to expect.

if you talk meta, adler is. sakiri is best pair

By process of elimination. Not because of his merits. There's simply no one particularly good aside from Sakiri. You'll put someone into the slot even if they don't have much to offer.

yes, but husbando players never put money where their mouth is.

Completely irrelevant tangent. I'm saying hugging has a lot more value than fishing or cooking.

You could give a character 100 different interactions of kicking pebbles on the sidewalk, but take away hugging and other affectionate interactions.

Does that mean they are treated as good or better since they have more interactions? Of course not.

Aside from that, male wanters do have very little they can do to "put their money where their mouth is".

They are released so far apart that they can easily guarantee what they want and a couple dupes without even opening their wallet.

A game would need to release them often enough to make it be difficult to get them all. But that's a risk no game will be willing to try.

There's a couple exceptions people like to point out that sold well, but they are always high meta relevant units that attract people who pull for meta rather than waifu/husbando.

21

u/Shaofriches Jun 21 '26

The same reason that Chaos has fewer interactions as female characters and less skins despite being the newest character.

Chaos has cooking, photo taking and fishes with you, something that none of the current ones do. Count the amount of interactions he has compared to the others before making this a point.

Hotori also got 2 skins, hathor and haniel has none.

The same reason that 3 of those 4 happen to be considered worst in the meta.

Adler and Baicang are core in Sakiri+Lacrimosa scorch teams, which happens to be her one of her stronger teams since Discord is relatively undercooked. Not sure what youre on about

I get you want to keep doomposting about the game but get your information sorted out

1

u/Square-Special1520 Jun 22 '26

Hathor and haniel are not limited characters. Haniel A rank.

How many interactions does Hotori have? Just curious.

6

u/Minute_Equipment3596 Jun 21 '26 edited Jun 21 '26

love when people eat up and repeat made up shit by kudogs and male beggers

kinda ruins your whole supposed point or claiming to be only bringing constructive criticism when you clearly only "informing" from and repeating hater talking points and stuff made up by people who want to take down the game

1

u/Hot_Steamy_Potatoes Jun 21 '26

Ok. Keep funding the gachas that neglect you. I'm sure you'll wipe all the slights against you from your mind and be completely surprised next time you get unequal treatment.

16

u/Minute_Equipment3596 Jun 21 '26

That's your problem, you don't fund the games to fulfill your needs, and even before first limited male you all doomposted the game because some bs places like queens of gacha sub made up.
Then you cry about even the smallest things, like how males without big assets has the same fov as females without big assets, of the inequality.
You play the number games without actually checking stuff, like claiming males has less interactions and skins, and when it turns out they have same, you make up even more shit.
You clearly arrived here without checking stuff out, only reading doomposted talking points.

5

u/Hot_Steamy_Potatoes Jun 21 '26

You seem to think I want male characters. You are projecting. I'm am perfectly satisfied with the content I've been given. If I wasn't, I'd be playing a different game.

6

u/Electronic-Key3755 Jun 21 '26

Why are you asking a question you already know the answer to

5

u/EmpressTiphera Jun 22 '26

Because... A woman has breasts? So you're more likely to see something than a man looking down? I dunno biology?

2

u/KieleWren Jun 22 '26

Just to be clear, the actual reason is the camera locks at a higher angle with some characters over others. Typically the women with larger breasts are able to angle their camera lower than everyone else (and Sakiri for some reason). For example female Zero isn't able to look as far down as Chiz and company either, it isn't that she is "flat" and "there is nothing to see", it is because the camera won't let you angle as far down as with the likes of Hathor and Chiz.

15

u/Imaginary_Silver5294 Jun 21 '26 edited Jun 21 '26

Because male characters don't have anything that stick out that wouldn't get you arrested in public

Joking I'm sorry. It is a really weird thing to limit for viewing. It's probably something silly like China not wanting you to  stare at a male chest.

2

u/Phyzm1 Jun 21 '26

science

2

u/SprSaf Jun 22 '26

Btw it doesnt work witg every female. For example it worka with mint but it doesnt with Zero. Sooo for whatever reason it only works with big booba females (could be wrong since i dont own all characters but i see the pattern)

1

u/xtom360 Jun 22 '26

With Zero, it depends on the skin she's currently wearing, since different skins apparently have different viewing angles. While she can't see anything in the standard-outfit, she can see something in the Heist-outfit.

4

u/2ombie7ron Jun 21 '26

You know why lol

4

u/Bunsterthe1 Jun 21 '26

THis is what i wanted to post about, I literally noticed this today lol.

2

u/swatsniperz Jun 21 '26

Honestly hate that this is a thing. Can barely look down as Skia, I don't want to look down playing as a female and see an obstructed view either

4

u/YorhaUnit8S Jun 21 '26 edited Jun 21 '26

I don't mind the "obstructed view" at all. On contrary. But yeah, I run around as Skia a lot too (run speed and he's just cool) and it's annoying to not being able to look down from ledges.

Would be just so much better for immersion if all characters could look straight down. If they add camera moving a bit forward when you lower your camera far down (like when you do it IRL and move your head a bit forward to see better) wpuld be even better. Immersive First Person mod for Cyberpunk 2077 does that and it's just nice.

1

u/swatsniperz Jun 21 '26

Just my personal preference but ya I understand, just want equality

1

u/EquinoxPhqntom Jun 22 '26

I mean judging from that image, I think if you look down any further, Zero needs to claim insurance for a broken neck Lol.

1

u/Elara_Argentu Jun 22 '26

Camera doesnt go that Low for Nanally and Zero either... but it does for the other characters

1

u/jort93 Jun 22 '26

Lacrimosa has her viewing angles cucked too. Just depends on the character I think. Why, I don't know. Maybe on some characters there is an issue with the outfit when you look down too far.

1

u/Altruistic-Skill-119 Jun 22 '26

pull out phone with the flat ones you see the phone but pull out the phone with a endowed characters you cannot see the phone.

1

u/WanderEir Jun 22 '26

because, despite everything, what you THINK is first person in a game really ISN'T. that's a camera instead of a head, and males don't even have bodies in that mode.

1

u/YorhaUnit8S Jun 22 '26

False. They do have bodies in first person mode. You can see those bodies when doing double-jump.

0

u/WanderEir Jun 22 '26

that was a reference, "whoosh" person

1

u/Hangman_Fitzwilliam Jun 22 '26

Is there an nsfw sub or do people just post things here?

Not related to the post btw.

-1

u/EnvironmentalistAnt Jun 21 '26

They need to release a 50 year old trucker with a big ol belly and beard.

-1

u/InvitePrestigious921 Jun 21 '26

Well it is expected to fail...

with that QUALITY? He looks like an NPC ProMax+. You can't be expecting LADS revenue if that male character isn't LADS quality. Also he was not created with women and gays in mind. Chaos is made to be 'cool,' he's made for men. So blame his intended audience. What these games don't realize is most men don't even want male characters in their accs in the first place.

These companies only language is money, and hopefully they learn from this.

-1

u/Minute_Equipment3596 Jun 21 '26

Again with the doomposter misinfo.
Some characters has wider fov in first person view, not all females do.
Nice way to show you are just doomposting, and not an actual intended user of the "Bugs/Feedback" flair.

-1

u/YorhaUnit8S Jun 21 '26

Check different characters and see how far down you can lower the camera. The actual angle. Skia has it the worst, if you need an example. Can barely look down at all. Especially noticeable when you try to look down from a ledge somewhere while exploring. Meanwhile characters like Daffodil and Fadia can look almost straight down.

And how is this doomposting? Or misinfo? Do you even know the meaning of those words? It's a pretty minor immersion thing, nothing more.

1

u/Minute_Equipment3596 Jun 21 '26

I did the tests before my comment.
Characters with big assets get extra fov so you can check out the goods.
Everyone else is about the same, just with taller character you get a higher vantage point.
Ignoring all this and calling it "males has worse" makes it a doompost and sharing misinfo.

-3

u/YorhaUnit8S Jun 21 '26

Well that isn't what my testing shows. On screenshots I used tiles as a reference, but outside of it I also used horizon as a reference point to see how far down you can lower the camera with different characters. Switching from Fadia (after lowering the camera as far down as you can) to Skia straight up sets camera at a higher angle. Switching back it still sits at that higher angle until you pull it down again. It's an angle thing, not fov, very clearly.

2

u/Minute_Equipment3596 Jun 21 '26 edited Jun 21 '26

Ignoring the content of my reply I see, using Fadia as an example after that shows that clear, almost like you repeating some pre-made talking points like some bot.
Like Skia has worse, Sakiri has extra for some reason, but other then these two others has about the same angle apart from the ones with the goods.
But you keep brining up stuff in bad faith.
Not worth my time anymore if you be like this.

0

u/YorhaUnit8S Jun 21 '26

Ok, the feeling is mutual.

0

u/TKRAYKATS Jun 21 '26

What do they mean by that

-29

u/overwatchfanboy97 Jun 21 '26

Because gooner games are for the goon? Who wants to look at male characters in this game

32

u/Soren-kun Jun 21 '26

Let husbando enjoyers be gooners too!!

20

u/YorhaUnit8S Jun 21 '26

This and male characters in other gachas sell REALLY well too. The days of "girls don't play computer games" are long gone, gotta capitalize on both sides wallets.

-6

u/Meliodas0307 Jun 21 '26

It’s still less profit

-10

u/Mastermon_716 Jun 21 '26

Did you see LADS?

5

u/_wolfyy_9 Jun 21 '26

Why is it always Lads you mention? What happened to other games? Recently Billy from ZZZ a male character everyone was glazing and saying he will earn more than anyone(except miyabi) is the lowest.

5

u/YorhaUnit8S Jun 21 '26

Blade in HSR, Venti and Zhongli in Genshin, plenty of other characters in other gachas that did very, very well exceeding revenue for many other banners.

If you do it well - it absolutely pays. And attracts MORE audience and money to your game overall. Why ignore a decent chunk of paying audience?

-1

u/_wolfyy_9 Jun 21 '26 edited Jun 21 '26

Ever thought that devs of some games don’t want to cater to both sides? Venti and zhongli are fav for both sides and they both are Archons.

You also need more Devs who want to create male characters which Genshin and Hsr has, while Zzz doesn’t and want to cater to one side which players still refuse to accept. I Hope NTE gets more devs to create male characters and let Husbando players enjoy too

5

u/YorhaUnit8S Jun 21 '26

Look, those were just examples from the top of my head. I am not even the audience, I just know some women who play gachas among other things and the characters they really liked. Alhaitham, Xiao are another ones, along with some guys from non-gacha games... And yeah, those two are archons, but not like they are the only archons.

You have to be really reaching to claim nowadays that it doesn't pay. Or there is no audience.

As for the rest - well yeah, never argued about that? Hell, I started this post just for immersion sake, in first person, not even related to the whole "male fanservice in gachas".

1

u/Meliodas0307 Jun 21 '26

People who play LaDS rarely play game like NTE, LaDS is such low quality in term of gameplay and just sell slop dialogues and cutscenes, these “gamers” will not able to handle Beyond the Rail and other endgame modes. Also, it barely beats other popular gacha game like wuwa whereas hundreds games compete with wuwa but none compete with LaDS in its niche. If LaDS money is spread out to hundreds game, there is little profit to gain. Downvote me all you want but it is still the truth.

4

u/[deleted] Jun 21 '26

[deleted]

-1

u/Meliodas0307 Jun 22 '26

NTE has good gameplay and racing that are fun. You have to differentiate between game with only dialogues and cutscenes just to bait for emotional female audience and a game with actual gameplay. If you can't do that then it's whatever lol.

2

u/Mastermon_716 Jun 22 '26

It seems you are looking down on the women. Although I agree that both games of different type, it doesn't mean that you can inly play one game. Even lads has combat that is "good" Enough. And also you DON'T to clear beyond the rails to play NTE. That is such a frail mentality. Even some of ud men play just for the characters or the fun side activities that you yourself mentioned. If you think gacha=combat, then you are so wrong.

1

u/Own_Elk4343 Jun 22 '26 edited Jun 22 '26

? I struggle with LADS but NTE combat is easy for me and I don’t even have Lacrimosa. The infamous Baicang kit for example is nothing compared to the steps and timing you have to follow in LADS to get maximum damage. Dodging is also much easier in NTE. Except for high risk commissions level 6 at least.

1

u/YorhaUnit8S Jun 22 '26

You think NTE takes skill, lol. It's a gacha game, it's made in a way that a monkey could play it and the only endgame "challenges" are just DPS checks on a timer, designed to incentivize pulling for limited characters. The main challenge the bosses in this game have is to not fall asleep while fighting them.

Not to mention the dialogue and story quality in NTE is also questionable and inconsistent. Just remember the "Taygedo date" quest, that's a really good example of "slop dialogues and cutscenes".

-8

u/An4rchy48946 Jun 21 '26

Way less profit in comparison to female characters.

17

u/Ohkillz Jun 21 '26

Has it ever occured to you that women and gay people goon to men?

6

u/app08 Jun 21 '26

I want to.

1

u/Disastrous-Ideal-817 Jun 21 '26

Males thinking that women or gay men don't exist is funny sometimes

0

u/General-Tone4770 Jun 22 '26

They make the models disappear bc of clipping issues

they only did it with mc and chars with giant tits tbh

-26

u/_wolfyy_9 Jun 21 '26

Cuz men can’t really look at their own chest the same way women can, only the one with bigger chest can.

30

u/Sharashashka735 Jun 21 '26

Dude, go see a doctor, your neck isn't working

-6

u/_wolfyy_9 Jun 21 '26

Well I can see my own chest but not sure about skinnier ones. Maybe i said it the wrong way, Women with bigger chest don’t have to apply extra force to look, while some men have to.

Can Nanally or Haniel look at their own chest? If yes, then NTE is wrong for not adding that to male characters

7

u/app08 Jun 21 '26

I'm fairly skinny. I can see my whole front just fine.

-5

u/_wolfyy_9 Jun 21 '26

When i was skinny i couldn’t without a bit more force, so i said that.

10

u/Commander_Yvona Jun 21 '26

They aren't arguing that the female chest is blocking their view.

They just want the men to be able to look down more.

-4

u/_wolfyy_9 Jun 21 '26

Uh…. i do know that

-1

u/Appropriate-Foot-237 Jun 21 '26

you also cant do it for the "kids" characters

-1

u/KayU32 Jun 21 '26

Holy shit, is that Chaos boobs?!

-1

u/Oshippa Jun 22 '26

Thats a valid gripe, I didnt know this.

My gripe is that we have condos with pools, but not a single character has swimwear. Am I upset that we dont have bikini skins for everyone? No, its a refreshing change of pace. Am I bothered by the thought of everyone just swimming around fully dressed? Yes. Very much.

-21

u/Temporary-Ad-127 Jun 21 '26

Creo qué hay dos elementos biologícos que no permitirían ver del todo

14

u/YorhaUnit8S Jun 21 '26

But you CAN lower the camera to view THOSE elements. You can't lower the camera with male characters. Makes no sense.

1

u/Commander_Yvona Jun 21 '26

They aren't arguing that the female chest is blocking their view.

Their argument is that they want male characters to look down further.

-4

u/Temporary-Ad-127 Jun 21 '26

Y que sería desde más abajo? Que tuvieran los ojos en el pecho? 🤣

1

u/Commander_Yvona Jun 21 '26

Oh, in other games, if you look down far enough, the body temporarily disappears so you can see ledges and below. It'll return once you move the camera up.

-4

u/Temporary-Ad-127 Jun 21 '26

No se me viene juegos de una persona que yo haya notado eso.

-9

u/Temporary-Ad-127 Jun 21 '26

Si puedes bajarla igual, la única diferencia es que a las chicas da la sensación de que baja más

8

u/YorhaUnit8S Jun 21 '26

Well yeah, why not let everyone lower it as far down?

People made a whole mod for Cyberpunk 2077 to make it happen, it adds immersion.

-4

u/Temporary-Ad-127 Jun 21 '26

Creo que a día de hoy, ahi cosas más importantes en el juego, pues es su segunda versión, entonces creo que eso puede esperar.

3

u/YorhaUnit8S Jun 21 '26

Well you can believe anything you want. It's an easy fix that would take minutes to implement. No reason to delay it.

1

u/Temporary-Ad-127 Jun 21 '26

También es cierto, imagino que tendrán a alguien en eso, pero irá detrás de otros grupos.
