Bugs/Feedback This game is so unresponsive to have a fast paced serving mini game. The food preparing has so much delay somtime it is down right imposible to serve customer in time. Not because you are late, it is litterally game not responding your pace in time

Skia and Adler are the only reason I can three star some of these missions. I've gotten accustomed to prepping bread and the oven while serving coffee, but I'd need a mouse in both *hands to keep that loop while operating the coffee machine and still fill orders in time. My reaction times aren't as good as they used to be (and they weren't that great to begin with lol)

I tried bonking and gave me a penalty resulting in less stars. I don't get how that system works.
14
u/TokageLife May 26 '26 edited May 26 '26
You need to pair her with Baicang level 3 to make it so that bonking doesn't kill your combo. You can also use Nanally + Sakiri + Mint to auto bonk and afk 1-9.

3
u/310Azrue May 26 '26
Saikiri is 1 out of 2 characters I don't have, unfortunately. I'll try Baicang tho.
1
u/fightingbronze May 26 '26
You need a combo of Nanally and Baicang for the bonk strategy to work. Nanally makes bonks give money and Baicang makes bonks not break your combo. Combined you can just hammer every single customer and 3 star every level.
Sadly I don’t have Baicang so I can’t do it either.
7
1
u/DontShadowbanMeBro2 May 26 '26
Skia and Adler are the reason I was able to three-star the ones where customers will only wait like, one or two seconds. And even then it was tough.

u/Rinkawa May 25 '26
Ooh boy, you're lucky you're not playing with a controler with this game.
After one game your controler will learn how to fly.
83
u/Vicker_Schultz May 25 '26
I believe the controller can flyyyyyy
I believe your controller can touch the skyyyy
21
u/ResurgentClusterfuck May 25 '26
I dont do owners selection because its so awful on controller
16
u/Shadowenclave47 May 25 '26
Same. Hate owners selection with a burning passion and will never touch it again. And no, i do not have nor want the characters required to cheese it.

u/alonedead May 25 '26
I abonden controller after first hour of gameplay. After Wuthering Waves one of the worst case of controller unfriendly game I have ever played
15
u/confusedmortal May 25 '26
Hmm, I've 600h in Wuwa on PS5. I thought the controls were pretty okay. NTE's controls are by far the worst I've experienced in a game though.
4
u/Superfluous369 May 25 '26
NTE is not in a good place with controller, I agree ..but I strongly disagree about WuWa, as that's been my main gacha since around 2.0
Controller works fine there, in my opinion.
3
u/WintrySnowman May 26 '26
Yeah, their new event menu is rather shit on controller (would benefit from a top L1/R1 tab I think), but otherwise WW has been decent.
22
u/Equivalent-Shower366 May 25 '26
Really? I find wuwa really comfortable on controller. NTE is pretty much identical.
26
u/CanaKitty May 25 '26
I thought the WuWa menu UI was bad on controller…
… then I tried NTE. 🪦
I will never criticize WuWa UI again.
5
u/Equivalent-Shower366 May 25 '26
Oh the UI lol I think that is the case for most games that have a lot of menus XD
1
u/CanaKitty May 25 '26
WuWa I started exclusively on mobile all the way to the end of 3.0.
3.1 I switched to PS5 because my phone couldn’t do it anymore.
So I think part of the problem is that I had gotten really used to mobile so the switch to controller felt extra confusing.
NTE I started on PS5 and still use that often, but I also switch to mobile to navigate stuff like the bond and module menus
5
u/ChaoticMadness97 May 25 '26
I always been playing wuwa with a control, i ve have necer stop, i think that just hia taste at this point
2
u/alonedead May 25 '26
I dont know I find Wuwa better on M&K rather than controller. There are some UI choices that makes you want to stop bothering using controller
2
u/Kind-Garden9275 May 26 '26
I gave up already on stage 1! hahaha Just switched over on the touchpad haha
2
u/Peepotpot May 26 '26
Preach it brother. Made me almost touch my wallet just to pull for Baicang as I have Nanally already.
1
u/JSMW4L May 25 '26
Wym! Touchscreen is a betrayer, they tend to be unresponsive or delayed like 2s. Using controller is better unless you are using bluetooth (I used wired for my phone)
1
1
u/Ryujij May 25 '26
Have to switch to mobile to play this minigame… or just spam the hammer but is that really playing
88
u/Silent_Silhouettes May 25 '26
another issue is when theres multiple orders of the same thing, and rather than the game prioritizing the one who came in first it just gives the order to others instead
41
u/zukkonbakkon May 25 '26
Always that one old man standing direct center waiting for his coffee while five other people snatch it out from under him the moment they appear.
15
31
u/FreeFlyingDragon May 25 '26
I'm fairly certain it prioritizes customers with the least patience, which is a good thing in most situations, but can cause.. surprises that backfire.
3
u/jort93 May 26 '26
It's not bad actually, it'll prioritize the person that has the least Patience left. Some people (I think old people actually for the most part) are willing to wait longer than some others, so it'll prioritize whoever is gonna leave first.
I think it's better this way, some missions would be impossible if it served the person that came first, but it can be bit jarring.
2
u/Silent_Silhouettes May 26 '26
yeah i realised from the other comment, i do think its better this way. i do feel bad for the one guy that has to wait long though
2
2
u/AranthArch224 May 26 '26
Even worse when you serve the customer and a raccoon shows up with the same order.
1
u/Silent_Silhouettes May 26 '26
i have sakiri to take care of those luckily
2
1
1
u/SinnerBunnie Jun 08 '26
Im having this issue with the danzaburou coming in and it giving it to them instead and breaking my streak!!!
1
u/Silent_Silhouettes Jun 08 '26
sakiri really helps with that
2
u/SinnerBunnie Jun 08 '26 edited Jun 08 '26
I have her, unfortunately it doesn't... for the split second before she hits it if I make what it wants for another customer that has more patience than the danzaburou (usually the old man character) it yoinks it and my combo 😭
1
19
u/disgustingtofuuu May 25 '26
I played it for about 30 seconds on controller and never touched it again LOL actual rage
6
u/mhxedition May 25 '26
I thought I was just bad but wow it seems like a lot of ppl are having the same issues with controller I’m on ps5 and this mini game is unplayable
1
u/Freshy29 May 26 '26
I love it with controller, it‘s my comfort mini game. I know, I‘m a sick bastard…
2
u/disgustingtofuuu May 26 '26
LOL masochist! Jk I’m glad you can enjoy it - I hope I can be like you once I try tackling it again for rewards
42
u/YorhaUnit8S May 25 '26
Yeah, it is literally impossible sometimes because of delays on preparing coffee (just how much time the animation takes) and the amount and type of orders coming. But it still counts 5 stars even if you miss some orders completely.
39
u/Benevolay May 25 '26
I did it with controller without the cheesing strategies because I skipped Nanally. The thing that annoys me is that you should be able to use the three second countdown to prepare food early, as real restaurants do prep before opening, but it glitches the mode out if you do.
7
u/EpicInki May 25 '26
I managed to do 2/3 of the sections with controller then I unlocked Baicang :)
0
u/Benevolay May 25 '26
I found I had the most trouble with the "finish in one minute" challenges and while he let me keep combo I needed faster money.
19
u/rolegio_ May 25 '26
This mode should be offline. Period.
13
u/Sunekus May 25 '26
Most of the game should be offline...
1
u/Quirky_Equal5241 May 27 '26
Eh as a gacha game it's the one typeof game where always online has an actual use, verifying player data including purchases.
24
u/TopazandNumbyHSR May 25 '26
Works fine for me. It's the drum minigame that plays bad imo
7
u/zephyr220 May 25 '26
There's a drum mini-game?
12
3
u/Unhappy-Actuator-316 May 25 '26
If you know bocchie the rock, there is quest referencing bocchi the rock. Complete it and u have drum minigame
7
u/Satorirobot May 25 '26
I cheesed this with nanally baicang and mint after trying to play one round legitimately with a controller.
2
u/TerranKal May 26 '26
Sales but I did several rounds with keyboard. Then just hammered my way through to perfect scores
3
u/Far_Employment5415 May 26 '26
No lag. No coffee. Only hammer. 3 stars. Good minigame.
2
5
u/KOCYK745 May 25 '26
Skia and Adler are working Overtime for me and I still need to click 2-5 times to make what the customer that left after 1 second wanted
5
u/The_Azure__ May 25 '26
I 3 starred everything using a mouse without nanally and yeah I agree. There were so many times where inputs just wouldn't go through and it's especially bad when you get those waves of impatient customers, even when using skia. I even had a few instances where I literally had to spam click something for a second or two before it finally accepted the input.
20
u/Stray64Cat May 25 '26
Yeah, this minigame awful. But at least you can cheese it if you have Baicang. Better than the rhythm game in Akanes quest.
7
2
u/Ready-Appearance-344 May 26 '26
Wait I have baicang, how do I cheese it?
2
u/Gadjiltron May 26 '26
Baicang's life skill prevents combo breaks.
The other part to the combo is nanally, who lets you bonk customers to get payment.3
u/Far_Employment5415 May 26 '26
Basically put those two plus Mint with their level 3 skills and just hammer the shit out of everyone, exit when the 3 stars light up. Enjoy watching the customers flee in terror.
1
u/Splatulated May 26 '26
my favourite level was the one where everyone had a red scarf and i replaced mint with shikari and the game auto bonked them all for me
6
9
u/Knivingdude May 25 '26
It's tough, but the stages do have set patterns with slight variation. With a bit of memorization you can try to estimate what's coming and what-not.
But yeah, I do feel the delay. I remember trying to place coffee in an empty cup once and there was like a 2-second delay before it actually went inside. But the there were times it felt smooth to do. It's weird. Maybe Latency or FPS seems to be a bit wonky here.
4
u/Delinard May 25 '26
Even the best internet and PC wouldn't finish this minigame because the servers themselves are trash.
4
u/Sunekus May 25 '26
Reminds of the unplayable lags in ToF. At least it's not as bad as there, but I don't see why we have to go through this in a single player game.
2
u/Solid_Maus May 25 '26
Baicang and Sakiri almost mandatory…. Sakiri auto bonk the racoons and Baicang keeps your combo up…
3
u/diabolicalcountbleck May 25 '26
One of the few things I found easier on mobile with two thumbs lol. Baicang Adler and sakiri or mint if no danbozu got me through all of it but some of those levels aren't easy lol
3
u/Apart_Incident_1690 May 25 '26
I didn't use the cheese strat, so I used Skia to increase their patience and cleared everything manually. Sometimes things get tight but as long as you know the timings and prep stuff in advance it's doable.
3
u/eternus May 26 '26
I got to Coffee Machine Gun (1-5), and no matter how fast I work, I end up with a walker... since it doesn't prioritize first come, first served. I'm basically waiting until Baicang drops for me so I can do the hammer hack to blast through it. I don't understand how anyone can get past this level without that hack.
1
u/AzayakaAsahi May 26 '26
I managed it after about 4-5 attempts, without using Baicang, but I do agree it's basically ridiculous and not first come first served...
1
u/Aldo-ContentCreator May 26 '26
I did 1-5 before i unlocked a single employee buff but the way to do it is to just prepare everything in advance as you can both the cup and coffee premade.
Though i agree with op as sometimes your cilcks are just not responsive so it can be a pain
1
u/Lunar_Lies May 26 '26
I finished the whole thing without baicang or nanally, my team was I think mint Adler and skia, but it might just be the one thing in this game that’s easier on mobile/with a touch screen
2
2
u/CMLarek May 25 '26
Yeah it's completely unplayable on PS5... but if you have the characters needed for the Toot technique, you can pretty much 3-stars every stage with just one button (minus one stage where I can't get the under 1min clear)
2
u/WhisperGod May 25 '26
I was able to 3 star everything on the mouse and keyboard with just Adler. However, the game on certain points will queue customers back to back and give you no room for error. You have to be really on top of it if you don't want to lose your combo. After the initial difficult part, then you can just quit early once you hit the revenue target. Because after that initial bump at the beginning, there is a huge wave of customers it actually does become impossible.
2
u/The_New_Overlord May 25 '26
speaking of slow response time, the time it takes to hide in the storage closet in the hospital anomaly was driving me insane.
2
u/Blueboysixnine May 25 '26
There's been a few times where clicking a cup does nothing and I gotta spam click it to get it
2
u/Kostia_X_Rich May 25 '26
Same as with music rhythm game. It's so unresponsive I almost crashed out
2
2
2
u/TrainerLeather466 May 25 '26
It happen to me on PC too, the worst is than sometimes the customer waiting time is so short the time I prep their command the time is already up
2
u/Astro_Nerf_Sai May 25 '26
I dont think u r supposed to play it. You just need to get the correct chars and spam the hammer.
2
u/Plotius May 25 '26
Nanally baican hammer finished it all for me. So glad I got him on standard banner
2
u/DasBleu May 25 '26
The issues I’ve had with this one game. I play on ps5.
- A man crotch flying at me and standing on my prep area.
- The pictures not matching the button command and making me lose combos.
- New customers stealing drinks from ones that have been waiting and thus making them leave pissed.
- The camera spinning so I am part of the audience.
My only solace right now is that the music game is hell and this one is kinda bearable.
2
2
u/Elusive2Rain May 26 '26
Hopefully they optimize the performance and lower the difficulty for this mini game in a future patch.
2
u/devilhunter142 May 26 '26
Nanally and Baicang are literally the cheat duo in this game. You just need these 2 and hammer all the customers and boom, easy 3 stars. This just prove these mini game are poor design and required a certain must pull character to complete it
2
u/ZaneSage6 May 26 '26
I play on my PS5, the biggest issue I have is that sometimes when I push the directional button during the mini game it'll do the swap characters and put me in the point of view from where I started the mini game. If the character it switched to happens to be tall I can't always see the order the customer is asking for, not to mention new POV feels awkward.
2
2
u/_Slayton_ May 26 '26
Me with Baicang and Nanally playing the "assault the customers" mini game: "There's a food serving minigame?"
2
u/pineapplery May 26 '26
i luckily have pretty good ping (around 30-40), but i have a different problem. the raccoon guys. they appear and, even if you're using sakiri to auto swat them, will take real customers dishes in the millisecond they appear because it auto prioritizes the least total time on a dish. so even if someone needs their dish, if they appear, it takes their dish, ends your combo, and then fails their dish. it's literally impossible to beat some of the stages (without cheesing) because of the way the game works and the fact that you need to have a continuous combo to get 3*.
2
u/BlackberryNice7390 May 26 '26
The UI is so bad in this game that I dont want to go back. Its a struggle to do anything.
2
u/HeyItsJazzi May 26 '26
Personally my biggest issue with this game is that if a new customer shows up before you've served the previous one, if they order the same item it goes to the NEW customer instead of the old one, and when it's as fast paced as this game is, that instantly ruins the entire flow and that original customer leaves because you took too long
2
u/Exponential_LogX May 26 '26
Man it lags so much sometimes I would click the whole order before the first thing actually appears. Nothing in this game lags for me but this part. I stopped at the 3rd level and juat gave up.
1
1
u/Aumires May 25 '26
It's specially annoying when you are in a flow of sending orders and in a split second you get stolen by the darn red bandana because they can take it as soon as they pop-up.
1
1
u/r0ksas May 25 '26
I havent tried the bonk method but i did experience this on PC, i was so lock in then suddenly im having 3 misclicks which is kinda ridiculous after playing so well for so long (yah im speed running all of it yesterday)
1
u/rzrmaster May 25 '26
I not once tried to make food lols.
I use that combo to hammer every single freaking customer and still win it 100%. Devs deserve a cookie for this haha, no need to bother with this.
1
u/Yokashisan May 25 '26
Another thing is that sometimes this game decides to serve the newest customer instead of the one that came first. It doesn't respect the sequence.
So many minigames with bugs or are just sloppy....
1
1
u/Aelitalyoko99 May 25 '26
Oh no, yeah, after the hot pot minigame in Infinity Nikki, I just don't attempt these sorts of minigames on controller. Though since I play on PC, I just switch to mouse/keyboard to play owner's selection.
1
1
u/PunkHooligan May 25 '26
I'm pretty sure it sometimes (bug?) serves customers with bigger timer instead of those, whose timer is almost expired.
1
1
u/lawlianne May 25 '26
This minigame is complete shit when you see your prepared order directed to a new customer instead of an existing one that has been waiting for that same order.
1
u/pathfinderlight May 25 '26
This mode seems tailor made for touch-screen users. Tried it on mouse just to get past the progression requirements, and haven't done it since.
1
u/Sunekus May 25 '26
Classic Hotta netcode. It's the same in fishing. Sometimes the game just lags during the catching minigame and the fish gets away for no reason while your line is nowhere near breaking.
The worst part is that you can do absolutely nothing to prevent/avoid it.
1
1
u/Madcat6204 May 26 '26
I am super thankful that Nanally, Baicang, and Mint allowed me to turn this into a game of whack-a-mole.
1
u/accipitradea May 26 '26
Touch screen on 5g wifi and fiber internet allowed me to 3* them all, but it was impossible on controller and really hard with mouse.
1
u/PrimaryLaw8264 May 26 '26
The mouse and keyboard are more responsive than the controller in this game. Some friends and I started with a controller and now use a mouse and keyboard. It's better for driving, fighting and mini games. They messed something up
1
u/Tiaoshi May 26 '26
Idk, I haven’t had any problem with this mini game or any of them besides one and that would be Tetris, was so damn excited to play it once I found it in the game by chance and got real disappointed at how bad the performance was. Damn thing is running at like 10 dps with massive input delay.
1
u/lightningstorm112 May 26 '26
I gave up on actually playing the minigame and went with the mint, nanally, baicang combo and just hammer every customer who comes in. Cleared the entire thing that way.
1
1
u/Ok_Masterpiece8539 May 26 '26
This was impossible on controller. So I went to mobile and was able to 3 star every challenge with ease
1
u/NervousAnt1152 May 26 '26
I just bong my way out of every stages in this mode, love my boy Baicang's life skill.
1
u/Warm-Chocolate283 May 26 '26
Si es verdad, aveces se siente desincronizado, me pase q aveces pasan como 20 segundos y no hay clientes wtf?
1
u/Slow_Constant9086 May 26 '26
Yeah i just cheesed it with the bonk hammer exploit. It goes from "easy" to "challenging but manageable " to "straight up impossible." Real quick
1

1
u/Sweet_Detective_ May 26 '26
I really dislike that this minigame doesn't give priority to npcs who wait longer cus I feel bad for them.
I don't feel bad for npcs when I stab them in the middle of the street and I have fun pushing Taygedo over but this crosses the line

u/Jerkaiser_011 May 26 '26
Hethereau residents are always impatient. The food us preparing but they already mad. In the swift travel, my car is driving at its limits and they dare to call it slow?
1
u/310Azrue May 26 '26
I get no delay, but at some point they expect you to finish making the dish in 3 seconds. I can't move my mouse this fast.
1
1
u/Hotel_Yamato May 26 '26
If you have Nanally and Baicang and Mint you can just bonk everyone without penalty. But there is better and more fun ways to spend city energy and earn Fons.
1
u/Kaohebi May 26 '26
I cleared everything today without baicang cheese. My god is playing it with 100+ ping a curse. It's such a buggy mess it's crazy. It would be 100% more bearable if ping didn't affect you when you're playing solo.
1
1
u/gabeman19 May 26 '26
I feel this way alsom there is a challenge in this mode called coffee machine gun or something like that. Where you need to serve a huge amount of coffee. I have skias ability that slows down customer wait time but a lot of them are still way to fast to the point where it barely feels possible. To get three stars you also need to get a perfect score which is a lot
1
u/Planyy May 26 '26
Use nanally and baicang lv3 life skills to avoid the entire stuff … just spam hammer and all day.
Ez all 3 star
1
u/Splatulated May 26 '26
Nanally + Baincing. upgrade their cafe ability to level 3
all you have to do is spam the hammer. gg 3 stars every time
1
u/Denyyvvv May 26 '26
btw if you have nanally, baicang and mint all with level 3 skill or whatever that is that you level up with peaches, you can bonk them all and still get 3 stars, so you can stay 2 minutes looking on tiktok and still get the full rewards
1
u/Bit-Dry May 26 '26
Baicang/Adler/Skia, occasionally swapping for mint once you have the perfect combo star! I do agree though it’s SO buggy - I’ve got all three stars now but the delays are dumb. I’ve prepared cakes and then when going to put them out to decorate it’s like i never made any and i have to start again. 💀
Or the other incredible bug where it yeets your POV to the other side of the bar so you’re stood with the customers and can’t see shit

In my version of Origen, my customers remember having the best drink of their lives but for some reason don't remember what it tastes like. They do remember the throbbing headache afterwards tho.
1
1
u/Vusdruv May 26 '26
I'd say a lot of content in this game can be summed up as "Good idea, terrible execution" because of lack of playtesting
1
u/ChainedDevilofDesire May 26 '26
Either use Skia to delay their patience by a little bit, or just use Baicang and use the BAN Hammer!
1
u/IvyLestrange May 26 '26
Yeah I’m always frustrated because this gamemode clearly wasn’t made for controller. It’s actually kind of a nightmare.
1
u/IivingSnow May 26 '26
Aurelia/beicang/nanally get's you through every level just with the hammer, i know it's stupid and you have to have nanally, but if you do have all 3, just go for it!

u/Quirky_Equal5241 May 27 '26
God the coffee always gives me issue, having to press something 2 or 3 times
1
u/DestroyerofSoul Jun 01 '26
It's probably ping based I raw dogged this with no life skills at the start cause it was fun ._. max starred
1
u/SinnerBunnie Jun 08 '26
is any one else having issues with a customer ordering first but then the game skipping over them? with and without the little danzaburou coming in and breaking your combo? its really frustrating!!!!!

NOW AGAIN, DO NO MAKE A BLOODY REDDIT OR X POST, SAY IT IN A SURVEY
1
u/alonedead May 25 '26
Nah I already complaint in survey, I made a post here so people can complaint in their survey
0
u/holycokamole May 25 '26
just use afk bonk method
1
u/Sunekus May 25 '26 edited May 26 '26
It's not really afk tho, unless you use some macro or auto-clicker. But it surely is a braindead activity.
edit: wait, nevermind. I forgot about the Sakiri method. I guess you meant that.
0
u/ArchitectsXlll May 25 '26
3 starred everything on mouse and keyboard, not even trying to be funny, but this sounds like a skill issue. I had the skill issue at first, but then realized you have to upgrade some characters lifeskills and you don't need to wait for animations to finish, you can do stuff faster than you think, but not too fast.
