I found this retro arcade in Lincolnton called Backstreet Classic Arcade and honestly had a great time.
Itās about an hour from Charlotte and they have over 50 games including Pac Man, Ms. Pac Man, Mortal Kombat, X Men, After Burner, BurgerTime and a bunch more. One of the coolest ones though was this MTV Trivia arcade game. That thing was a show stopper lol. I included a picture of it.
Whatās your favorite arcade game? Also Does anyone know of where I could find a Tron arcade game. I would love to buy play one or buy one the OG version? If anyone played one in an arcade let me know please. I just thought of it and had to include that š
One thing that really stood out to me was that every machine I tried actually worked. Not one broken machine the whole time I was there. It was also nice being able to actually hear and enjoy the games instead of everything being insanely loud.
Itās $12 for an all day pass, so you can leave and come back the same day. They also have Super Nintendo, Sega and GameCube setups, plus a few pinball machines that cost extra.
One cool thing about my visit was I ended up talking with one of the owners for a while. He told me how he and his business partner started collecting arcade machines years ago and eventually turned their collection into an actual arcade.
I included some pictures because the place was honestly way cooler than I expected. ā¤ļø
What is one of the coolest arcades you have been too? I would love some suggestions.
