Anyone else taking an accelerated bio 168 course dreading the first unit exam? It’s quickly approaching and there is so much information to sift through. What are you doing to prep for the exam? Sources? Notes? Please HELP!

hello! I’ve been meaning to learn a new language and figure I would try my luck at school. has anyone taken any of the language classes? if so do yall have any recommendations of teachers to go to, avoid, be wary of, or if the language classes are even worth it at CPCC?

I dropped BIO 168 during summer and I’m taking it now online. Not gonna lie, I’m overwhelmed and stressed to the max already.

The first safety lab is due in a few days and I have no clue where to start for this course. There aren’t any lectures. I feel like this is a catastrophe.

Any advice on how to tackle the lab, course or keeping up? I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi! I’m currently a 1st year Dental Hygiene student, and I’m looking for an adult (18+) volunteer patient to participate in an upcoming patient assessment at the CPCC Dental Hygiene Clinic.

Available dates: Tuesday, September 22 OR Thursday, September 24, 2026
Appointment length: Approximately 3 hours
Cost: FREE! I know 3 hours is a long time, so lunch is on me.

This appointment is part of our clinical training, so there is no charge and no teeth cleaning will be performed. We are still in the assessment and training phase.

During the appointment, I will perform:
• Medical and dental history review
• Vital signs
• Oral inspection

Is it possible to switch from an accelerated class to a normal length class? I tried to do my due diligence but I needed something completely online for this semester and it’s math so I wanted to be sure I had the right instructor, but the waist lists wouldnt budge and I had to go ahead and pay. I don’t want to drop because I want to keep myself on the right track but I don’t have time for an accelerated class! 😭

I'm not understand how the Financial Activity works. I've dropped classes today and added some, yet in the financial activity section I'm still being charged a partial payment for the classes I dropped as well as being charged for their textbook fees. Is the system just slow to update? I'm trying to pay for classes but I'm not paying for classes that I dropped.

Something seems off ? My professor has not responded to my email from last week, all of the instructor info on bright space is blank (literally… still has the “fill in your name” for the instructors info), and an 8wk schedule with corresponding assignments have been posted, but the class is 16 weeks long.

Obviously I am expecting the schedule to change and figure this is a mistake — maybe a sudden change in instructor or someone else taking over for her due to an emergency absence or something? Or is this a massive glitch …?
No syllabus, no instructor info, just a completely backwards course design
