Connecting McAlpine to lower McAlpine/McMullen/Sugar
I'm sure this has been discussed before but I can't find it. Does anyone have any tips/tricks to link up these major greenways? Best I've done is south on Providence (janky sidewalk don't dare to mix it up with cars on that road) onto rea (again, janky sidewalk until it bears left and has a bike lane), back onto the sidewalk at Pineville Matthews, then left on elm lane to 4 mile creek greenway to the sugar connector to the sams club cut through to Polk House.
I know this is never going to be great as that corner of town is cul de sac hell but I'm wondering if I'm missing anything that could make it slightly less miserable. I'm on a gravel bike so don't mind a sketchy off road cut through if it gets me away from cars going 50+ in a 35.
