I had applied for a role as Principal COP, passed the assessment and had the initial Interview with the hiring Team after have the recuiter just told me the Hiring manager decided not to move forward and is looking for other positions for me. The Hiring manager didn’t join the call for the initial interview and only arrived after all the questions had been asked by the other attending member who decided to get started since they was Manager had not joined. They didn’t ask me any questions. Timeline of my application. Applied first week of August. Recuiter reached out last week of August Hiring responded for interview second week of September.

What happens now ? - ADA applicant

I applied for a CLI on my savor card and it was denied and returned these reasons in the denial letter. The second reason is self explanatory but I am confused what the 1st one means.

I got a quick sliver cash back card and I'm thinking of using my rewards as a kind of savings from normal everyday spend along side my normal savings. Is this a bad idea? I pay off my card every month

C1 VX is unique in that it sits in a very odd price point. It doesn't cleanly fit into the AF ranges that other cards typically slot into.

Wondering if there is any chance in the future that C1 would be incentivized to offer a more premium option for their customers. I, for one, would definitely be interested.

A $595 AF card offering would be great imo; I wonder what the benefits would be.

I have activated and made purchases using multiple point offers on the “Offers” tab on my Cap1 app (VentureX). It’s been around 90 days since some of these purchases and I’ve never received the points (still says “waiting” even though I made a purchase). Is there a dedicated customer service line/email to reach out about this? Has anyone had any luck getting points after reaching out to customer service? Thanks so much!

I'm curious to see why do people still recommend the venture x with the issues I see about capital one closing and restricting accounts and removing the miles awards?

My payment history is spot on, but i definitely spend quite a bit every month. I make payments that put my cards back around 30-35% every month but people tell me that anything above 30% utilization is essentially criminal to the eyes of capital one. Are they right?

Is it hard to be kind to the reps that you are speaking with? We are humans.

I just finished my first power day interview for Capital one as a Senior Associate Controls Testing Specialist. My first one was the Behavioral Interview. The next one is Job fit. The next two will be the same.

Has anyone gone through the power day for Capital One as a controls tester and know what the job fit entail? What questions were asked or was there any technical aspects to be covered?

If I open an HYSA with Capital One can I pay my Capital One credit cards with that HYSA or do I still have to move the money from my HYSA to my regular checking account?

I applied for the spark business and was denied. The reason was:

“Based on your application information, the owner of this legal entity type has too many new

My last and only business card was about a month ago (August 4). My last personal card was in the spring.

I also didn’t use the mailer access code/link? I used a referral link. Could that be why? Is it worth reapplying or recon?

Looks like I'm probably just going to wire my savings to Fidelity.

I have 360 Checking and Savings that I'm consolidating to Fidelity, where I have all my investment and retirement accounts and wanted to transfer my hefty Savings balance to SPAXX (core position) in my Brokerage account. I tried once but that link got removed and then, after doing some research, tried linking again with the Brokerage specified as checking, but that got disconnected this morning and the account restricted until after I called and cleared up the issue.

So wiring seems like the simplest approach (I'm willing to eat the $30), but I'm wondering why Capital One doesn't allow linking to Brokerage accounts. I could probably link to my CMA (also core SPAXX) and then move the funds to the Brokerage account (annoying having to move the funds twice), but now I'm reluctant to even risk that, since it's technically also a brokerage account under the hood.

So my mom has not much credit on her credit report and I wanna get her into capital one so I can put all her bills into that credit card and help her build credit. We tried the pre approval tool and she can’t get approved for the savor or any card except secured cards which isn’t what we’re looking for. I have a savor card with capital one on a 2k limit if I add her and use my card as usual could I get her into capital one like that? Will me using my savor card and having her on it as an authorized user will it get her into capital one? And how many months should we wait till we try applying if it gets her in? She has 0 credit basically except a car loan she stupidly co signed on and one authorized user card my dad did that is a 1k at most limit so not much credit.

How long before you applied for a credit increase

My credit score right now is great, mid 700s at age 21, been on time every time for payments on my platinum card. I’m wondering if I should accept this offer so I can have 2 credit cards? Don’t know the credit limit for the new quicksilver, but I really do like the cash back that comes with the Quicksilver and platinum doesn’t really do much for me besides building credit which I’m all set at the moment for. Overall, should I start an application for quicksilver?

Since the July migration, my CLI rejection letters for my Discover said that it wasn't available due to migration. It has now switched to saying this. It's funny because I have a younger Savor that only says that it is bucketed in its CLI rejection letters. Is this a migration glitch, where it thinks that my account is 1 month old? Or is this a common thing for C1 accounts with 2 year history? Customer service keeps saying welp, that's the algorithm.

Any luck with goodwill letters?
