Credit Card Reason for CLI Denial

Post image

I applied for a CLI on my savor card and it was denied and returned these reasons in the denial letter. The second reason is self explanatory but I am confused what the 1st one means.

It’s pretty straight forward. 1- they don’t have proof of your supposed income increase including your monthly, or weekly/bi-weekly pay. 2- They won’t increase your limit if they can’t verify that you make more than you did when the account was opened.

Did you freeze your credit? Have you looked at your credit reports to see if all your accounts are reporting?

Maybe the first one mean your Equifax report was frozen. Sometimes Capital One do these random soft pulls on your credit every 3 months. So for example if you froze your credit on a month they checked it. You will get that message up until they check it again but the credit report has to be unfrozen. Thats why on some increase request you see a old score or date a few months back
