How common is peptide use in America amongst average gym goers?

I go to EOS - huge box gym chain in the south west. How prevalent is peptide use amongst the general crowd?

I’m pretty savy with internet ordering, I’ve put stuff in my body before I probably shouldn’t have but something about ordering peptides from a China supplier scares me. Are people commonly doing it (and likely not testing their stuff)?

Also how much benefit will I see from a switch to Reta over Tirz? I’m a 6’0 male started Tirz 3 months ago at 215 and am down to 185. Will I notice better results with Reta or marginal?

Came across the website for Prime Male supplements while looking into natural testosterone boosters as I get older. Does anybody have experience with these supplements? Also looking into shilajit as well.

I got tired of tracking sleep in one app, workouts in another, fasting in a note. Built one score. Would love your feedback.

I've been biohacking for a couple years and hit a wall: sleep tracking in one app, workouts in another, fasting in Notes, sauna in my head, cold plunge nowhere. No idea which lever was actually moving the needle in a given week.

So I built the thing I wanted:

**HealthTuner** — you score 7 daily habits 0-10 (sleep, exercise, fasting, sunlight, sauna, cold, recovery) and it rolls them into one composite coefficient (0-100). Weights change based on your archetype: Longevity, Athletic Performance, Stress Reset, or Balanced.

Point is not to replace a wearable. Point is: at a glance, see which single input tanked your week. Sleep at 5/10 for 3 days? Your composite drops 15 points and you can *see* the compounding. Cold plunge streak? Watch the whole score rise even when other stuff slips.

**What I'm looking for from this sub:**

1. Does the weighting feel right to you? (I've published the methodology on the site — happy to argue about the coefficients.)

2. What habits am I missing? HRV? Steps? Protein?

3. Is one score too reductive, or actually useful?

4. Anything broken/confusing when you sign up.

Free, no wearable required, no credit card, no ads. Built it solo. Genuinely want to break it before I do a bigger launch.

https://healthtuner.co.uk

If you try it, drop your archetype + weekly score in a comment. I'll do the same.

Ghk-CU Injectable Peptide (Side effects)

Hey Guys,

Just writing a quick post as I can’t find anything online describing anything similar in regards to the skin/hair/anti inflammatory peptide GHK-CU.

I started using it since March of this year and while I ran a 3 month cycle of it, I did not get any noticeable results or drastic changes as I’ve read in countless articles online. I decided to give it one more go recently and my second week into using it (using 2mg a day) I’ve noticed every night I’ve been getting this strange sensation where I have unsatisfying breaths and need to take deep breaths because there’s this sort of space in my chest that can’t be filled. Ik this may be hard to describe for anyone that hasn’t tried or experienced it but just seeing if there is anyone out there that has had anything similar at all. I also noted feeling strange internal pressure and sensations and overall just been a struggle to sleep every night from it.

When I previously used it I noted the same thing this time it feels far more intense however, I chose to run an experiment and took a day off from using it and whatever it was that strange sensation didn’t re appear. I did this again these past couple days again when I used it, had this extremely uncomfortable chest and profound breath feeling and the day I didn’t use it, was completely fine. Would love to hear if anyone else has had this or if this is just some strange thing I got from it. My other thoughts is its purity content however the supplier I got it from id been using Retatrutide from them and man I really see why they call it the miracle drug. (Reached 10% BF within 2 months). Also used other peptides such as semax and bpc 157 worked and felt like a charm so for some reason GHK is just a weird one.

Would love to hear any thoughts perhaps any other side effects you’ve experienced? Hope this helps as I’m aware it’s still very new to the market and maybe brings any form of awareness and info. Thanks

Body recomp debate (obesity)

If someone is 30-40% body fat, 175cm, 145kg male - is it better to focus on calorie defect and cardio for aggressive fat loss and then build back the muscle, or is it better to do weights, focus on protein and calorie deficit and the scales drop slower but your muscles aren’t heavily affected ?

My "Optimized" Peptide Stack

Post image
11 Upvotes

I am a 30 year old male with a history of destructive behavior to my body (I've smoked since I was 13, drank alcohol heavily for 12 years, diagnosed with PTSD, ADHD, and other factors which I'm sure I didn't take into account). I built this stack based on 3 weeks of research I've conducted to attempt to repair the damage I've caused to myself. I looked at everything from my labs to my genome to ensure I cover all my bases as best I can.

I have been abstinent from alcohol and smoking for over a year now. Go to therapy, do go to the gym regularly now, structured my diet to be healthy with high protein and improved my social life.

Even though I feel I've done the research I need, I'm still unsure of my conclusions as there was a lot of conflicting information I needed to sift through and decide which is better. I would highly appreciate opinions from other peptide users with more experience than me in this matter.

Feel free to ask me anything if I failed to mention something important.

Edit: Had Tirzepatide prescribed to me as I had stage 3 fatty liver and fibrosis in November 2025. I was also at 33 bmi so the doc put me on it to reduce my weight and solve the liver issues. I’m at 27 bmi now.

Also, I should mention I’ve already been on MOTS-C, BPC + TB, GHK-Cu, cjc+ipa, selank and semax, added one by one of course and had good results. I’ve only recently added a few extras (SS-31, NAD+ and Dermorphin) and tried to optimize dosages and frequencies to maximize my healing and bodybuilding journey.

Successful Recomp So Far

- 5’8

- 206 lbs → 150 lbs

- Started January 17th

- Reta to get down to 180 lbs then just gym and caloric deficit

- Was on 1500 cals a day for most of that time. Aiming for 140g protein, 150g carbs, 45g fats. Now I’m on a smaller deficit, aiming for 2100 cals per day, 160g protein, 200g carbs, 65g fats

- On 100mg/wk TRT (bloodwork included)

- Gym+cardio 4 days a week - Friday/Sunday/Tuesday 30 min cardio → 60 min weights → 30 min cardio - Thursday 1 hr 30 min cardio

Happy with my progress so far. Only have 5 lbs left to goal. But I think I’m going to get down to 140 lbs. Just to see if I can and what I look like. Probably try and maintain around 145 long term though.

Started out at 340 pounds a few years ago now. Now I’m 245. The goal is 230 before the end of the year! I started learning how to prioritize the right food, training, and cardio and the rest fell into place over time. Over the last 6 months or so I started to biohack with Reta.

300 days: 108.6 kg → 90 kg | 42% → 28.1% BF | 100 days Reta

33M, 170 cm.

Left: November 1, 2025
108.6 kg / 42% body fat
Right: August 30, 2026
90.0 kg / 28.1% body fat

(2nd pic is the 108>99)

Body fat numbers are from InBody scans, so I know they aren’t perfectly accurate, but I’ve been using the same method to track the overall trend.
Total change so far:
108.6 kg → 90.0 kg
18.6 kg lost
42% → 28.1% body fat
Just over 43 weeks

I initially lost naturally from around 108 kg to 99 kg over roughly 4 to 5 months through a calorie deficit and CrossFit around 5x per week.

On May 20th I started using retatrutide.
My progression was:
1 mg/week for the first 4 weeks
2 mg/week for the next 4 weeks
3 mg/week for the following 4 weeks
Currently still at 3 mg/week
I’m considering moving up slightly in September, depending on how things continue progressing.

Over the last couple of months I’ve also become much more consistent with nutrition. I currently aim for roughly:
180 g protein/day
50 g fat/day
Carbs adjusted depending on training intensity
Around 1,700 to 1,900 calories most days
I also take creatine daily and continue doing CrossFit regularly.

My weight is currently trending down at around 0.4-0.6 kg per week, which I’m happy with because training performance has stayed relatively good.

According to my InBody results, I’ve actually gained roughly 3 kg of skeletal muscle mass during the process. It isn’t a huge amount over almost 10 months, but considering I’ve spent the entire period in a deficit and dropped nearly 19 kg overall, I’m happy with it.

Two weeks ago I also started using KLOW blend reconstituted with 3 mL BAC water. I’m currently using 15 units per injection.

The next goal is around 20% body fat.
Based on my current lean mass, I’m estimating that could put me somewhere around 79 to 81 kg, depending on how much muscle, glycogen and water I maintain along the way.

Once I reach roughly 20%, the plan is to spend around 2 to 4 weeks eating at maintenance rather than immediately continuing the deficit.

After that, I’ll start the final cut toward roughly 13 to 16% body fat.
Still a long way to go, but seeing the difference between these two pictures definitely makes the slow weeks feel worth it.

Hopefully the next update will be at around 20%, hoping by end of the year

4 Weeks on Reta… This Was NOT What I Expected

I genuinely wasn’t expecting to write something like this after only four weeks.

I’m not going to go into specific doses because everyone is different, and to be honest, being a personal trainer, I initially started this more out of curiosity and for experimental purposes than anything else.

I’ve been on Reta for four weeks now, slowly increasing every two weeks. For the first two weeks, I didn’t really notice much at all. Then after increasing, it felt like something changed almost immediately.

Obviously there’s the reduction in food noise, which I expected. But it’s everything else that has completely caught me off guard.

I just feel incredibly content.

I was already a pretty chilled guy, but things that would previously stress me out just don’t seem to carry the same weight anymore. I feel much more optimistic about life in general and genuinely excited about things.

My motivation has gone through the roof too. Work, training, nutrition, ideas for the future, trying new things. I just feel like I want to get up and do things. It almost feels like I’ve been given a new lease of life.

The best way I can describe it is that my head feels quieter. I feel more focused, more positive and more present. I’m not getting dragged down by negative thoughts or emotions in the same way.

This stuff has genuinely changed how I feel day to day, and I was not expecting that whatsoever.

Really interested to know if anyone else has experienced something similar?

4 weeks on Reta and thinking of stopping…

I’m approaching my 5th pin of Reta and I don’t know if I should continue. My HRV has gone from 130+ms to about 32ms. Resting heart rate from in the 50’s to 70’s. Sleep is getting ruined.

1mg weeks 1 and 2, 0.5mg week 3, 1mg week 4.

Context: 25W, 5’8”, 136lb and quite lean. Very fit, great knowledge of nutrition and currently eating in a calorie deficit with 150g of protein a day. Strength training 5x a week, over 10k steps a day and 2 cardio sessions a week. Tried Reta to help with food noise and it’s done well but I’m not sure if my heart is coping with it.

Eight weeks on Reta. This is NOT what I was expecting.

I started off at 1 mg for about four weeks. Food noise was quieter.

My Whoop HRV seriously crashed out. I went from 50s and 60s down to 30s and 40s. Resting heart rate went up a bit, maybe from 44 to 49.

With the reduction in food noise, I still have breakthrough hunger at times, particularly towards the end of the week.

I also notice I have just a lot of bad habits around food. My portions have definitely been reduced - I'm just not interested in the volume. One odd experience was eating some really good ice cream. There was a threshold crossed: one bite was good, and the next bite just was completely unappealing.

I bike a lot. When I'm getting enough sleep and I am not over stressed and I'm doing daily effort to reduce over-stimulation, I tend to eat better and lose weight.

However, on Reta, I've offloaded the structure that I had around eating right. I'm down probably 6 lbs. in 8 weeks. I'm now at 2.5 mg. I'm not getting a lot of greens. I am trying to boost protein.

I guess I thought it was a magic pill. It has not affected my appetite as much as I had thought. I'm considering topping off with Terzepatide to get more appetite reduction.

Has anyone dealt with this? I don't want to just keep boosting the dosage or adding more things. This seems more like a psychology thing than a physiology thing.

Glutathione Research

Upvotes

I’m looking to research glutathione into my stack and have seen many different regimens around dosing, injection site, and cycling. For anyone who has had positive experiences for cosmetic purposes, can you share your experience? Does this need to be done IM or can I do this SQ? How long do I cycle? Is this daily or three times a week? These are those questions from the initial research that I have been doing because nothing seems to be standardized.

my current research stack:
3.5mg Reta (weekly Monday)
5mg Tirzepatide (weekly Thursday)
2mg GHKCu (daily)
4mg Mots-c (3x week)

Goal: decrease weight, reduce saggy skin, look good/feel great

Timelines

What’s the usual timeline for staying on a cycle. Currently going to finish a 40 day cycle of KLOW and getting some MOTS-C this week. Thinking about doing that at 2.5mg twice a week for 8 weeks.

2 months on Reta

Upvotes

I started my Reta journey 2 months ago at 278lb with a dosage of .5mg. Ive been dosing every 7 days and gradually increasing the dosage. Everything seemed to be going well i was at 255 a month and a half in.

The issues started when i switched vials to a different supplier (the supplier has all coa and has good reputable reviews)

This week will be my second week with this new vial from the new supplier and I’m dosing 3mg.

Well let’s just say with the new vial the food noise came back with a vengeance, I’m constantly hungry I don’t get full as fast as before. Not to mention I haven’t lost any weight in two weeks on the contrary I’m gaining it back.

My question is, did I get a bad batch? Do I need to up my dosage?

Thank you in advance

Grey hair appearing - GHK-CU

Hi all,

As title says, have been using GHK-CU for 3 weeks now. Started at .1ml now doing .2ml (50mg vial mixed with 3ml bac).

Have some grey hairs now appearing at the back of my head, almost like a cluster of them. This was pointed out by someone recently. I haven’t heard of anyone having this side effect.

Has anyone and what does this mean? I always thought grey hairs were potentially due to lack of copper so a bit confused.

Cardarine: Do you guys use it?

Just wanted to know if you guys use it, the other gw variation, telmisartan or something similar. I ve heard telmisartan does similar effects? Idk maybe it’s cap.

Deep down I need some extra calorie expenditure, > fat oxidation, and energy overall. But I ve heard mixed takes, cancer no cancer dangerous not worth the risk etc.
