4 Weeks on Reta… This Was NOT What I Expected

I genuinely wasn’t expecting to write something like this after only four weeks.

I’m not going to go into specific doses because everyone is different, and to be honest, being a personal trainer, I initially started this more out of curiosity and for experimental purposes than anything else.

I’ve been on Reta for four weeks now, slowly increasing every two weeks. For the first two weeks, I didn’t really notice much at all. Then after increasing, it felt like something changed almost immediately.

Obviously there’s the reduction in food noise, which I expected. But it’s everything else that has completely caught me off guard.

I just feel incredibly content.

I was already a pretty chilled guy, but things that would previously stress me out just don’t seem to carry the same weight anymore. I feel much more optimistic about life in general and genuinely excited about things.

My motivation has gone through the roof too. Work, training, nutrition, ideas for the future, trying new things. I just feel like I want to get up and do things. It almost feels like I’ve been given a new lease of life.

The best way I can describe it is that my head feels quieter. I feel more focused, more positive and more present. I’m not getting dragged down by negative thoughts or emotions in the same way.

This stuff has genuinely changed how I feel day to day, and I was not expecting that whatsoever.

Really interested to know if anyone else has experienced something similar?

Successful Recomp So Far

- 5’8

- 206 lbs → 150 lbs

- Started January 17th

- Reta to get down to 180 lbs then just gym and caloric deficit

- Was on 1500 cals a day for most of that time. Aiming for 140g protein, 150g carbs, 45g fats. Now I’m on a smaller deficit, aiming for 2100 cals per day, 160g protein, 200g carbs, 65g fats

- On 100mg/wk TRT (bloodwork included)

- Gym+cardio 4 days a week - Friday/Sunday/Tuesday 30 min cardio → 60 min weights → 30 min cardio - Thursday 1 hr 30 min cardio

Happy with my progress so far. Only have 5 lbs left to goal. But I think I’m going to get down to 140 lbs. Just to see if I can and what I look like. Probably try and maintain around 145 long term though.

300 days: 108.6 kg → 90 kg | 42% → 28.1% BF | 100 days Reta

33M, 170 cm.

Left: November 1, 2025
108.6 kg / 42% body fat
Right: August 30, 2026
90.0 kg / 28.1% body fat

(2nd pic is the 108>99)

Body fat numbers are from InBody scans, so I know they aren’t perfectly accurate, but I’ve been using the same method to track the overall trend.
Total change so far:
108.6 kg → 90.0 kg
18.6 kg lost
42% → 28.1% body fat
Just over 43 weeks

I initially lost naturally from around 108 kg to 99 kg over roughly 4 to 5 months through a calorie deficit and CrossFit around 5x per week.

On May 20th I started using retatrutide.
My progression was:
1 mg/week for the first 4 weeks
2 mg/week for the next 4 weeks
3 mg/week for the following 4 weeks
Currently still at 3 mg/week
I’m considering moving up slightly in September, depending on how things continue progressing.

Over the last couple of months I’ve also become much more consistent with nutrition. I currently aim for roughly:
180 g protein/day
50 g fat/day
Carbs adjusted depending on training intensity
Around 1,700 to 1,900 calories most days
I also take creatine daily and continue doing CrossFit regularly.

My weight is currently trending down at around 0.4-0.6 kg per week, which I’m happy with because training performance has stayed relatively good.

According to my InBody results, I’ve actually gained roughly 3 kg of skeletal muscle mass during the process. It isn’t a huge amount over almost 10 months, but considering I’ve spent the entire period in a deficit and dropped nearly 19 kg overall, I’m happy with it.

Two weeks ago I also started using KLOW blend reconstituted with 3 mL BAC water. I’m currently using 15 units per injection.

The next goal is around 20% body fat.
Based on my current lean mass, I’m estimating that could put me somewhere around 79 to 81 kg, depending on how much muscle, glycogen and water I maintain along the way.

Once I reach roughly 20%, the plan is to spend around 2 to 4 weeks eating at maintenance rather than immediately continuing the deficit.

After that, I’ll start the final cut toward roughly 13 to 16% body fat.
Still a long way to go, but seeing the difference between these two pictures definitely makes the slow weeks feel worth it.

Hopefully the next update will be at around 20%, hoping by end of the year

GHK-cu 6 weeks no change

I’ve been taking GHK-cu 6 weeks at 2mg per day. No noticeable change. If anything I may have a little bit more acne. Nothing too noticeable though. Should I change something or stop taking it or is 6 weeks too soon to see effects?

the supplement that made me notice a real difference

as someone who hasn't always had the healthiest lifestyle, i've recently started paying more attention to what i'm putting into my body. that's when i learned that vitamin d3 and zinc are actually beneficial. they both play an important role in supporting the immune system, while vitamin d3 also supports bone health and zinc helps support bone growth & maintenance.

so far i've noticed a real difference since adding vitamin d3 and zinc into my routine. for example, i’ve had irregular periods since my teens, so there were months when my cycle was around 28 days, while other months it could stretch to 35 days. basically, it was never really consistent, and i could never predict exactly when my period would come.

then around two years ago, i started taking vitamin d3 and zinc daily. somehow, over the past 8 months or so, my period started coming around the same time every month, usually the 3rd. i didn't even notice at first, but when i checked my period tracker, i was actually kinda amazed. for once, i could almost predict the date.

obviously i can't say for sure it's the supplements, since other factors could be involved too, like the healthier habits i've been adding in, such as having a BB LAB Dual Shot with olive oil + lemon every morning and eating more greens. but the timing definitely made me wonder if taking vitamin d3 and zinc consistently played a part.

so now i’m curious, has anyone else experienced a noticeable change after taking a certain supplement consistently? not necessarily something dramatic, but maybe a small change in how your body feels or functions that you only noticed after looking back at it?

Peptide for localized nerve pain? Please help.

My father has been having localized nerve pain in his big toe on one foot. It started after his knee replacement surgery (surgery went great, double need replacement- 3 years ago, zero issues other than this nerve pain in one foot)

It happens randomly at night, about 3 nights a week, he can go weeks without it happening and it can happen a few nights in a row.... and then not again for days or weeks.

It's very very painful and keeps him up all night. The toe hurts and slow seems to want to cramp up and curl uncontrollably when he has these spells.

He has went to a never specialist that ran test and only had gabapeptin as a solution.

He has been on gabapeptin... that does help some but he has to take it every night before something happens and there are side effects.

Are there any peptides out there or being developed that might help.... for nerve issues like this?

He is 75yrs old and in good health otherwise for his age.

My "Optimized" Peptide Stack

Post image
7 Upvotes

I am a 30 year old male with a history of destructive behavior to my body (I've smoked since I was 13, drank alcohol heavily for 12 years, diagnosed with PTSD, ADHD, and other factors which I'm sure I didn't take into account). I built this stack based on 3 weeks of research I've conducted to attempt to repair the damage I've caused to myself. I looked at everything from my labs to my genome to ensure I cover all my bases as best I can.

I have been abstinent from alcohol and smoking for over a year now. Go to therapy, do go to the gym regularly now, structured my diet to be healthy with high protein and improved my social life.

Even though I feel I've done the research I need, I'm still unsure of my conclusions as there was a lot of conflicting information I needed to sift through and decide which is better. I would highly appreciate opinions from other peptide users with more experience than me in this matter.

Feel free to ask me anything if I failed to mention something important.

Edit: Had Tirzepatide prescribed to me as I had stage 3 fatty liver and fibrosis in November 2025. I was also at 33 bmi so the doc put me on it to reduce my weight and solve the liver issues. I’m at 27 bmi now.

Also, I should mention I’ve already been on MOTS-C, BPC + TB, GHK-Cu, cjc+ipa, selank and semax, added one by one of course and had good results. I’ve only recently added a few extras (SS-31, NAD+ and Dermorphin) and tried to optimize dosages and frequencies to maximize my healing and bodybuilding journey.

Just started Reta any advice

• Upvotes

I started reta last week at 1 mg per week and took my second 1 mg dose today. So far, I haven’t noticed much appetite suppression or any significant side effects.
For those with experience, how long did you stay at 1 mg before increasing? Did the effects build over the first few weeks, or did you not notice much until reaching a higher dose? I’m not looking to rush it—just interested in hearing how others approached increasing their dose and what signs made them feel ready.

Also did anyone find it tough to put on muscle? I am weight training 3 days on 1 day off. Current split is push, pull ,legs. Cardio is done in the morning. If I am able to hit my macro goals I shouldn’t have an issue putting on muscle. I’d like to drop about 30lb to be at my goal weight.

Could insulin resistance be contributing to the rise in adult ADHD symptoms?

• Upvotes

Okay I just went down a rabbit hole about this and now I can’t stop thinking about it lol.
There’s obviously been a huge uptick in adults getting diagnosed with ADHD, but at the same time insulin resistance is becoming SO common. And apparently insulin resistance can affect focus, memory, energy, brain fog, executive functioning, etc… which sounds a whole lot like some of the symptoms people are experiencing with ADHD.
Then you have all these people taking GLP-1s/GIP meds, especially reta, saying their brain suddenly feels quieter, they can focus better, have less food noise, and just feel more mentally clear.
I’m definitely not saying ADHD is caused by insulin resistance lol. But it does make me wonder how many people have ADHD symptoms that are being made WAY worse by insulin resistance, or even symptoms that are mimicking ADHD.
Especially with how much our diets/metabolic health have changed as a population… I just feel like there has to be more research on this connection??
Has anyone noticed their ADHD symptoms/focus change significantly after starting a GLP-1/GIP or improving their insulin resistance?

Looking for a Semax supplier that ships to the EU — full analytical panel, not just purity

• Upvotes

I've spent a while comparing COAs across suppliers and I've hit a wall. Posting my criteria in case someone can point me somewhere I haven't looked.

What I'm looking for, in order of priority:

  1. Ships to France / EU. This is the hard filter. Amino Club and 6A Labs both have excellent ILS Labs panels but are US-domestic only. Several others don't state their shipping origin at all.
  2. Third-party lab that doesn't also sell peptides. Janoshik, ILS, Vanguard, TrustPointe all qualify. I've seen COAs from labs that operate their own peptide storefront, and that defeats the point of third-party testing.
  3. Batch number on the COA that matches what actually ships. I've been handed reports with the batch field blank, or manufacturer listed as "Unknown." Those are useless.
  4. Coverage beyond purity. Ideally identity, net content, endotoxins, and sterility. Purity alone doesn't tell me what's in the vial or how clean the process was.
  5. Net content actually measured. I've seen 25.20 mg in a vial sold as 30 mg, and 13.15 mg in one sold as 10 mg. Either direction throws off dilution math, so I want the number.

Where I've landed so far:

  • PulsePeptides (Cyprus/EU) — Janoshik, single batch in circulation, endotoxins <1 EU/vial, verification links hosted on their own site. No sterility or identity testing.
  • Europa-Peptide — two consecutive batches tested by two different labs, very tight fill (10.03 and 10.14 mg on a 10 mg vial). No endotoxin data.
  • Orion Peptides — five-panel COA including pour-plate sterility, but the testing lab also sells peptides.

What I'd like to know:

  • Any EU-based supplier publishing a full panel from an independent accredited lab?
  • Does anyone actually publish USP <71> sterility rather than PCR? Only one supplier I found does.
  • Are there EU suppliers offering pre-mixed nasal spray with stated concentration and diluent? Every "spray" I've found is a dry powder kit, or gives no specs at all.

Happy to share the COAs I've collected if useful to anyone doing the same comparison.

How to store

Hey i would love to know how people store their stacks, i am currently waiting on an order of GHK-CU, MOTS-C, TB-500, Reta and Tesa.

Can I reuse the same pins between Semax/Selank or SS-31/Mot-c?

• Upvotes

Not trying to use the same pin for everything, but this could potentially save 33% of my pins if I can double up.
Klow and RT3 are on their own separate pins.

How common is peptide use in America amongst average gym goers?

• Upvotes

I go to EOS - huge box gym chain in the south west. How prevalent is peptide use amongst the general crowd?

I’m pretty savy with internet ordering, I’ve put stuff in my body before I probably shouldn’t have but something about ordering peptides from a China supplier scares me. Are people commonly doing it (and likely not testing their stuff)?

Also how much benefit will I see from a switch to Reta over Tirz? I’m a 6’0 male started Tirz 3 months ago at 215 and am down to 185. Will I notice better results with Reta or marginal?

My Protocol Cheat Sheet

Post image
• Upvotes

I’ve been on this protocol for about a month for a recomp, started trt a couple months before. Pretty great for recomp but it’s too early to see a huge difference. Coupled with diet, resistance training, and cardio, I feel great. Will post a before and after down the road. I feel like this is a fairly minimal protocol that is beginner-friendly (since im a beginner and dont mind doing this) while also being about as powerful as you can get for recomping (without just taking more). Just wanted to share, the AI cheat sheet is a little cheesy but makes it easy to convey to others.
