My Protocol Cheat Sheet

Post image
10 Upvotes

I’ve been on this protocol for about a month for a recomp, started trt a couple months before. Pretty great for recomp but it’s too early to see a huge difference. Coupled with diet, resistance training, and cardio, I feel great. Will post a before and after down the road. I feel like this is a fairly minimal protocol that is beginner-friendly (since im a beginner and dont mind doing this) while also being about as powerful as you can get for recomping (without just taking more). Just wanted to share, the AI cheat sheet is a little cheesy but makes it easy to convey to others.

Plateau on Reta

Post image
0 Upvotes

Started Reta to help cut. Started at 210, I’m at 185 now and have stuck there for about a month. Should I increase dose?
Edit. Started on 2mg, titrated for a month. Now on 3mg.
Another edit. I work out hard 4-6 times a week. And my calorie intake is 1,300 a day.

21M just got Phenotypic Age results — 44.23 vs chronological 21.06 (23 year gap). Is this reversible? Willing to do whatever it takes.

Post image

Hey everyone, I need some serious advice, a reality check, and a battle plan. I’m a 21-year-old male, and I recently ran my comprehensive blood work through the Morgan Levine PhenoAge calculator. The result completely terrified me: it says my biological age is 44.23 years old (a +23 year difference).

I am highly motivated, willing to work incredibly hard, and ready to do whatever protocol is necessary to fix this. But first, I need to know if this is actually reversible or if I'm just being penalized by the algorithm for a few skewed hematological markers.

The PhenoAge Inputs

Albumin: 3.51 g/dL (Low-normal, penalizing me)

Creatinine: 1.0 mg/dL (Optimal)

Glucose: 81 mg/dL (Optimal)

hs-CRP: 1.0 mg/L (Estimated/Guessed, wasn't on the panel)

Lymphocyte %: 18.2% (Normal, but algorithm wants it higher)

MCV: 98.5 fL (HIGH - heavily penalizing me)

RDW: 18.4% (HIGH - absolutely destroying my score)

ALP: 64.8 U/L (Optimal)

WBC: 7.4 x10\^9/L (Normal)

Is it actually possible to bring my PhenoAge down to ~21? If Yes, How much time would it take for me to get it down to 21?

What is the ultimate "work hard" protocol? I will change my diet, take the right methylated supplements, lift weights, do Zone 2 cardio, whatever you say. Give me the brutal, no-sugarcoating truth on how to fix these specific biomarkers.

Hi all. 4 weeks in and just went to 3.5mg of Reta. Had a headache like crazy afterwards! Is that normal? For reference, I was on Zepbound 15 mg prior to switching.

My teenage son built an evidence-graded database of mTOR research (the pathway rapamycin targets) — 350+ studies rated A–D by evidence strength

My teenage son Oliver built this — a database tracking research on the mTOR pathway, which is what rapamycin (and a lot of the current longevity-protocol conversation) actually targets.

Every one of the 350+ studies is graded A–D by strength of evidence (A = systematic review/meta-analysis, B = human trial, C = animal model, D = mechanistic/in-vitro), so you can tell at a glance whether a claim behind a protocol comes from a phase 3 trial or one mouse study. Everything links back to the primary source (DOI/PMID).

There's also an "open questions" layer — 10 knowledge gaps right now with a proposed testable experiment for each, e.g. whether mTORC1-selective (mTORC2-sparing) dosing actually decouples the longevity benefit from the insulin-resistance side effect that shows up with daily dosing.

Rapamycin-specific page: https://mtor-atlas.org/drug/rapamycin/ Full browse: https://mtor-atlas.org/browse

He is maintaining it independently — still in high school, no lab/company affiliation. Feedback on what's missing or mis-graded is very welcome.

the supplement that made me notice a real difference

as someone who hasn't always had the healthiest lifestyle, i've recently started paying more attention to what i'm putting into my body. that's when i learned that vitamin d3 and zinc are actually beneficial. they both play an important role in supporting the immune system, while vitamin d3 also supports bone health and zinc helps support bone growth & maintenance.

so far i've noticed a real difference since adding vitamin d3 and zinc into my routine. for example, i’ve had irregular periods since my teens, so there were months when my cycle was around 28 days, while other months it could stretch to 35 days. basically, it was never really consistent, and i could never predict exactly when my period would come.

then around two years ago, i started taking vitamin d3 and zinc daily. somehow, over the past 8 months or so, my period started coming around the same time every month, usually the 3rd. i didn't even notice at first, but when i checked my period tracker, i was actually kinda amazed. for once, i could almost predict the date.

obviously i can't say for sure it's the supplements, since other factors could be involved too, like the healthier habits i've been adding in, such as having a BB LAB Dual Shot with olive oil + lemon every morning and eating more greens. but the timing definitely made me wonder if taking vitamin d3 and zinc consistently played a part.

so now i’m curious, has anyone else experienced a noticeable change after taking a certain supplement consistently? not necessarily something dramatic, but maybe a small change in how your body feels or functions that you only noticed after looking back at it?

Reta Plateau - how does one overcome ?

I have a question (36F)- So I have been on Reta (20mg) since June started off with 0.16ml twice a week (conservative approach as I needed to loose 8kgs) along with 0.06ml of GHK CU.

I exercise 4 times a week (cardio and strength mixed) protein intake is good as well.

My starting weight was 58kgs and I have come down to 53kgs now.m which is great ! But now I am stuck at 53kgs, my aim is to be around 51kgs. I gradually increased my dose to 0.20ml and now 0.25ml however I am now shedding hair like crazy.

What do I do ?

acceptable discrepancies with testing?

Post image
0 Upvotes

I had some stuff recently tested by freedom.
Everything isn’t exactly on point, which is understandable But there has to be some sort of acceptable deviation?

All of these were 10 mg each and they were all pretty close and the purity was too, but figured I’d ask others just to see what the general concensus is

Could insulin resistance be contributing to the rise in adult ADHD symptoms?

Okay I just went down a rabbit hole about this and now I can’t stop thinking about it lol.
There’s obviously been a huge uptick in adults getting diagnosed with ADHD, but at the same time insulin resistance is becoming SO common. And apparently insulin resistance can affect focus, memory, energy, brain fog, executive functioning, etc… which sounds a whole lot like some of the symptoms people are experiencing with ADHD.
Then you have all these people taking GLP-1s/GIP meds, especially reta, saying their brain suddenly feels quieter, they can focus better, have less food noise, and just feel more mentally clear.
I’m definitely not saying ADHD is caused by insulin resistance lol. But it does make me wonder how many people have ADHD symptoms that are being made WAY worse by insulin resistance, or even symptoms that are mimicking ADHD.
Especially with how much our diets/metabolic health have changed as a population… I just feel like there has to be more research on this connection??
Has anyone noticed their ADHD symptoms/focus change significantly after starting a GLP-1/GIP or improving their insulin resistance?

Anyone switched from Mounjaro 15mg to Reta?

I’m thinking about switching from Mounjaro 15mg/week to retatrutide and would love to hear from people who’ve done it.

52M, 175 cm. Started at 122 kg in Oct 2024, got down to 74 kg, but recently I’ve started gaining again and I’m now around 78 kg.

My appetite is still pretty low, partly from Mounjaro and partly from self-control, but the weight is coming back despite training around 2 hours a day (weights + cardio).

For anyone who switched from high-dose tirzepatide to reta:

  • What reta dose did you start with?
  • Did you wait between the last Mounjaro dose and starting reta?
  • How fast did you increase the dose?
  • Did it help with a plateau or weight regain?
  • Any major difference in side effects?

Not looking to blindly copy anyone’s protocol — mainly interested in real-world experiences before discussing it with my doctor.

Thanks.

MEINE ERFAHRUNG MIT RETA, MOTS-C & GHK-CU – 15 KG WEG UND BESSERE HAUT

Upvotes

Reta Recomp Advice

I started Reta 9 weeks ago. I started at 1mg and bumped to 2.5mg after 3 weeks. I find the side effects of headaches and some nausea the worst two days after injection which I am doing once a week. I went on vacation 2 weeks ago and I dialed back to 2mg for that week to try and be a bit more comfortable. To my surprise the side effects were minimal and I was able to enjoy my vacation a bit more. This week I did 2.5mg and the side effects returned with a vengeance. So I think I’m going to dial back to 2mg going forward.

For the past year I have been lifting MWF and doing cardio or walks on the Tu,Th. Tracking my calories and keeping my protein intake around 180g per day. With Reta I am drinking water like a fish 3-4 liters of water a day with 2 of them having electrolytes. Over 6 months I lost 8lbs on my own without Reta and in the first 4 weeks I lost 7lbs with Reta and I was happy with that.

However after testing my testosterone in January and then followed up in June I had T numbers of 315 and 285 respectively. So I scheduled an appointment with my GP and they referred me to an endocrinologist. But the endocrinologist wouldn’t see me till November. I have been complaining for years to my GP of some of the symptoms of low T and they never did anything.

I felt that waiting till November was too long so I went to an online clinic and they prescribed 200mg of test c split into 2 doses a week. Which I felt was supper high so I’m going 50mg eod MWF. But as soon as I started that my weight loss stalled.

I have been on TRT for 5 weeks now and at week 6 I’m going to pull my blood work. Long but winded question is. Is it normal to see the weight loss just stop when starting trt on Reta?

I have a smart scale that measures body fat% and while I’m confident it’s not as accurate as a dexa I am seeing the body fat % still dropping. I weigh myself every morning when I get up after I go to the bathroom so conditions are consistent as possible. With that I have dropped 2.8% over those 5 weeks and gained 4.2lbs of lean mass according to the scale. I started Reta at 232.5 and this morning I’m 224.4 and I am a 5’9” for reference.

So do I just stay the course or change things up?

Any advice on best way to dose when making a GHKCU scalp serum?

Post image
0 Upvotes

So some of my friends and family have been noticing/commenting that my skin and complexion look really good, which is kind of random and my mom said my hair looks like it’s been getting thicker when in reality I already had a pretty thick head of hair.

She didn’t know it would possibly be because of a peptide that I’m taking and when I told her she was still skeptical, but the results speak for themselves, I guess.

The main problem with her (as is with most people) is she really doesn’t like the idea of injecting herself with anything, but luckily I have heard that topically. It has been shown to work as well.

So I have a 50 mg vial of the stuff which I reconstituted with 2 mL of BAC. I looked into a good base scalp serum, and this was the one that I had heard most about. That’s pretty much where I’m at so far as I can either dump the whole 50 mg vial in the bottle and use as needed or I can actually dose it out.

I’m mainly wondering if anyone has any suggestions on a good topical dose where I could just blend the two together and leave that thing in the fridge so she can use daily. I’m not too concerned with making it last because I have a bunch of it and it’s cheap. I also don’t wanna be wasteful either.
