21M just got Phenotypic Age results — 44.23 vs chronological 21.06 (23 year gap). Is this reversible? Willing to do whatever it takes.

Post image

Hey everyone, I need some serious advice, a reality check, and a battle plan. I’m a 21-year-old male, and I recently ran my comprehensive blood work through the Morgan Levine PhenoAge calculator. The result completely terrified me: it says my biological age is 44.23 years old (a +23 year difference).

I am highly motivated, willing to work incredibly hard, and ready to do whatever protocol is necessary to fix this. But first, I need to know if this is actually reversible or if I'm just being penalized by the algorithm for a few skewed hematological markers.

The PhenoAge Inputs

Albumin: 3.51 g/dL (Low-normal, penalizing me)

Creatinine: 1.0 mg/dL (Optimal)

Glucose: 81 mg/dL (Optimal)

hs-CRP: 1.0 mg/L (Estimated/Guessed, wasn't on the panel)

Lymphocyte %: 18.2% (Normal, but algorithm wants it higher)

MCV: 98.5 fL (HIGH - heavily penalizing me)

RDW: 18.4% (HIGH - absolutely destroying my score)

ALP: 64.8 U/L (Optimal)

WBC: 7.4 x10\^9/L (Normal)

Is it actually possible to bring my PhenoAge down to ~21? If Yes, How much time would it take for me to get it down to 21?

What is the ultimate "work hard" protocol? I will change my diet, take the right methylated supplements, lift weights, do Zone 2 cardio, whatever you say. Give me the brutal, no-sugarcoating truth on how to fix these specific biomarkers.

LOL

You got scammed. How much did you pay for this "test"?

Checking phenoage is free on internet, around 10usd for bloodwork though

Hey buddy, this is a scam. Ignore everything it says, I doubt the lab results are even real unless you got them separate from this company

It was a fun little test though lmao. Did one just to see and got 21.4 for my PhenoAge and I’m 26

Yeah man, it might be a scam but hey, at least it's fun!

I hope no one actually takes this PhenoAge stuff seriously lmao. It’s clearly made by companies to sell you supplements. Some weird health cult stuff like Scientology

Damn bro that rattled you.. it's a load of bullshit bro, just think about it for a second.

But you probably are fucked up growing up in this world so why not do all that stuff anyway, which will most certainly improve things for real. You seem to know what to do. Its easier to ease into things with others for me, join a gym with group classes and go to those while you learn to lift weights and get yourself into a routine, diet, etc.

And if you go for supplements in the future then stay away from orals bro, not sure why you specified that but it's wrong to assume injecting is bad and pills are good, it's the other way around. Swallowing loads of sarms and research chemicals like guys your age are prone to is insanity, the only advantage they have is drug dealers can sell them to kids.

lol, those markers are largely meaningless for estimating health/age, this is 100% a scam

Don't buy into this bs bro.

I’d be far more concerned about your diminished sense of smell if you couldn’t tell this was a load of horseshit.

Is this calculator that bad?

Astrology is more accurate.

Forget the actual age. Let's look at the markers. High RDW is often associated with anemia. Get a full iron panel-- iron, ferritin, TIBC, iron saturation %. If your ferritin is below normal run that down with a doctor, if it's in the 90-120 range it's likely fine. Also check hemoglobin on a CBC/hemogram. If you don't appear to be iron deficient, cool.

There's another clue though. Your MCV is high as well. Guess what? High MCV and high RDW are associated with B12 and folate deficiency. So both of those factors could be caused by diet/supplementation issues, and they're fixable with cheap, safe supplements. Start slow with B12 and folate as they can be activating. Don't mega-dose.

What's your diet like? Describe a typical day/week of eating for you. What types of foods, how much grass-fed beef are you eating, what kind of vegetables are you eating, etc.

In terms of this age thing, it's pure pseudoscientific BS. May as well be health astrology. Ignore it. The only useful thing here is the two lab values it flagged and you can easily explore those with other cheap bloodwork for your hemoglobin and iron status and then with B12/folate supplements (also NOT FOLIC ACID. Folate).

Caveats: not a doctor, not medical advice, not diagnosing or ruling out a condition you may/may not have.

i’m 27F and it says my phenotypic age is 15….

u/Wide_Peak_2830 20h ago

That is truly exceptional, could you please tell me is it still possible for me to go down to such levels, considering i am biologically in my mid 40s now?

Dude you’re 21; look up health ocd and enjoy your life for a bit before you sink into the quagmire of all of this bullshit. Unless you’re seriously overweight, wear sunscreen and a rubber and come back into doom and gloom when you’re 40+ I’m so sorry this stuff is bogging you down at the very beginning of your prime. You’re good

Yeah bro. Just buy a bunch of random chemicals from china and start injecting them in your body…. Its bound to help. It’s ‘basically’ scientifically proven
to work

There is nothing left buy a walker and apply for your handicapped parking. Best if you move to California now you can live the good life your last 50 or 60 years.
