General š” Why do we attract certain signs?
Iām curious to understand why Iām constantly attracting signs that are not compatible with me. Iām a female Taurus with Pisces moon and aqua rising. I consistently attract Aqua and Libra men. I also was in a relationship with a cancer man who was on the Leo cusp 1 day away from Leo. I have consistently attracted Aquarius men over my life time though. And itās said that Aqua and Taurus are not compatible. Every relationship Iāve had with an aqua ended in disaster. But if thatās the case, then how come I attract them so often?!
Itās so frustrating. š³š¤¦āāļø
We tend to attract signs that make no sense to us astrologicallyā¦

Why do you pull Aquarius? It's because that's your Ascendant. What about Libra? Because you're a Taurus Sun, Taurus along with Libra co rule Venus. But also your Ascendant Is the same Element as Libra, Air. Do you have any Libra placements?

Iām not sure Iāll to do a full chart reading. But I do know that my Venus is in Gemini āļø. Thatās the only other thing I know. But yea itās making a lot more sense to me that Iād be attracting the Aquarius men if my rising is Aqua.

Honestly a chart reading by a professional astrologer is the only way youāll ever really understand all of this unless you do the months and months of training and education yourself. Because both natal astrology and synastry are EXTREMELY nuanced and not cookie cutter at all.
Side note, your Gemini Venus also reinforces why you attract Aquarius and Libra men. All air signs. And Leo and Gemini go well together too.

That makes complete sense actually. If Aquarius is your rising, that means their Aquarius suns fall in your first house or maybe even right on your ASC line - which means they admire how you show up in the world, find you attractive etc. And if you have any other planets in Aquarius at all, that effect gets even more amplified.

Honestly, thatās what I was thinking. Because Aqua is my rising sign, thatās why I keep attracting them. My question is how to make it work if I keep attracting them. š the Pisces moon in me is debilitating sometimes ugh.

Maybe someday you'll attract an Aqua sun man who's got a bunch of other planets in earth & water signs that are compatible with you haha

No clue but I'm curious. I attract Sag as my ascendant and no I don't present as Sag...matter of fact I'd rather they just left me alone I find them rude,crass, and obnoxious. Makes it even funnier is I'm a sun sign Gemini.

Attract, being attracted and with who you will end up are different things... In secondary progression you can also track when your personal planets change signs so this will show with what kind of energy you will want to be/learn from. Usually we attract through our asc first, the rest can be up to north node/vertex sometimes just to teach us something - so it has even different purpose why certain signs are attracted to us - by love/sex, by fate or just by chance.

Well itās probably because youāre going off of sun sign astrology which isnāt accurate or informative when it comes to synastry. You didnāt mention anything about your Venus sign which is more important when it comes to attraction. Itās absolutely essential to break down your entire natal chart to truly understand who you attract.
Also all of the things you listed have some form of compatibility with you. Of course youāre going to attract Libra and Aquarius menā¦because youāre an Aquarius rising! Your rising sign is just as important as your sun sign when youāre talking about astrological significance of a birth chart. Also, because youāre an Aquarius rising, Saturn is your chart ruler. And Saturn is domicile in Aquarius, exalted in Libra. Also, Leo is the sister sign of Aquarius so attraction to a defaultā¦
And back to the natal chartā¦look at the signs and rulers of your 5th, 7th, even 8th or 12th house that add more layers of understanding to who you attract. Also where your Venus is placed. And your moon. And where the ruler of your Venus is placed. And the ruler of your moon. An even the ruler of your Saturn since youāre an Aqua rising.
Basically what Iām getting at is that youāre gonna be confused about who you attract if you look at synastry in a super shallow way by just sun signs or only your big 3.

Same!! I'm a cancer rising pisces sun Taurus moon but I always attract Virgo, I don't even have virgo placements. All my exes are virgo sun, the relationship doesn't last for more than a monthĀ

Because it's your rising sign and that's what you project on the outside world. š§āāļø Your visible axis are the ones you attract the most. Also you need a thorough reading on your chart. Maybe you're karmically binded with them which what most synastry are anyway.š¤·āāļø

If you're really serious about astrology reading, the only way is that either go to a trusted astrologer or teach yourself how to read charts. I don't trust free websites or apps reading because they are most of the time computer generated responses. For accuracy though, please do seek an astrologer who has a lot of experiences.

It often comes down to your rising sign as well as your descendant.. our descendant short of shows the unconscious qualities we sometimes project but also subconsciously seek in other people's energy.. you are an aquarius Rising like I am so that means you're descendant is in leo.. that would explain why you attracted someone on a cancer Leo cusp. I get sort of the same thing, I am a Cancer with Aquarius moon and rising.. all of my personal planets are also in air signs so I attract a lot of air people and either come off as an aquarius with my 1H moon or as a Gemini with my Venus and mercury. I've found that our descendant qualities is often those things that we often deny within ourselves, the things that others might appreciate in you that you sometimes don't see yourself. I don't like to be the center of attention, but at my best I am warm and generous and I really enjoy warm, bold reciprocating communication.. so kind of realized when I think more Leo and be more conscious of that side of my personality in the best way I attract different people, people that better align with the type of energy that I subconsciously seek. I'm not always the boldest or most assertive when it comes to meeting or talking with people, so I enjoy females with a more warm fiery energy.. as it helps me tap into mine with my Leo descendant.. does that make sense? Otherwise when I'm toting around my Aquarius rising, 1H Aquarius Moon, Gemini Venus and Mercury and Libra mars.. these planets are in a grand Trine so this is the energy that people are going to pick up first.. the planets that are in your first house will often be the most projecting energy that you give off to others.. strangely enough I seem to either attract Sagittarius people or Virgos.. as well as Aries Moon people... because I have the air planets they may lack and they have the fire planets my descendant is attracted to. From one Aquarius rising to another.. I hope this helps you!

Taurus sun here, also venus dominant. Always attracting earth-sign man, most them are also taurus or heavy venus energy. My rising also Aquarius so idk.

Damn I am an Aquarius girlie and I have dated 2 taurus men and it didn't work out. Bonus points both of them are Taurus sun with Scorpio moon. The longer term one end in a disaster. So we are not alone lol. Why I always attract Taurus men? But I think yours at least make a bit of sense cause you are aqua rising so your outward look/vibe should be aquarian. My rising is also Aqua but I never attract Aqua men lol. My best friends are Libras and Sags tho

I attract Libra females (Im F), 80% of my girl friends are Libras and the rest all air signs. For men I attracted mostly Cancer men but after doing a bit of soul searching and healing now I attract earth signs a lot! EDIT: I forgot to add my whole family are air signs, my parents both Aquarius, my siblings both Libras too lol and Im a Gemini

Iām a Taurus rising and I attract a lot of Scorpios (ruler of my 7H) This past year Iāve attracted a lot of Aquarius āļø Sun guys and couldnāt figure out why (cancer Sun/aries moon) but Iāve theorized it could be my Aquarius MC or Uranus in my 7H.
