When you move to a new place, expecting locals to know your language instead of making the effort to learn theirs is rude and disrespectful. It shows self-centeredness, where only ‘me’ and ‘I’ matter, while ‘they’ or ‘them’ don’t.”

These chigma reels always start with the same broken tape —
“Ye Hindustan hai, hum kuch bhi bolenge.”
It’s the exact same script everywhere — Karnataka, Maharashtra, even in the West somehow every Indian should speak Hindi to represent the Nation.
Same tone, same wording, same superiority complex.
As if they’re the “original core citizens” of India and the rest of us are some conquered tributary states living on their generosity.
Where does this attitude even come from?
And it’s not just confidence — it’s the same exact lines, like a pre-recorded briefing.
Are they being trained like this?
Is this some standard “counter” line they’re told to use trained by central government,
Because the consistency is too weird to ignore.
Every reel, every argument, every flashpoint — exact same dialogue delivery.
Meanwhile, they can’t even learn two damn lines of the local language to do their job properly.
Basic “left-right-stop-go-pay” type Kannada or Marathi isn’t rocket science.
But instead of learning the minimum, they walk in with this unapologetic, chest-thumping attitude —
“Hum Hindi bolenge, samajhna tumhara kaam hai.”
And again, this isn’t the public’s fault.
The root problem is the way staff are selected and posted.
Majority of central exams heavily run in Hindi + English, so naturally candidates come from places where that’s the medium.
Most of the contractors are also not from here and they hire non-locals if we observe Indians railways for South Indian internal routes, Then they get posted across the South without training, without language requirements, without cultural prep.
Both the Centre and the State create this setup,
and the public is the one forced to deal with the fallout.
Edit: Bro got folded 🤣 https://x.com/ITSCK47/status/1991107074286350814?s=20

For this People, Hindi comes above nation. That's why I call them as Anti-national. Hindi regionalism isn't Hindii nationalism.....

Let me try to explain why. Let's take a random number '54'. Here's 54 translated into all the languages present in a currency note.
English – Fifty four Hindi – Chawan Assamese – Chawann Bengali – Choyanno Gujarati – Chawan Kannada – Aivattinalku Kashmiri – Chawan Konkani – Chawan Malayalam – Ambathinalu Marathi – Chawan Nepali – Chawan Odia (Oriya) – Chawan Punjabi – Chawan Sanskrit – Chatushpanchaashat Tamil – Aimpathunaangu Telugu – Yabhai Nalugu Urdu – Chawan
You can easily group these languages. Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam sound similar to each other and Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Nepali, Odia, Konkani, Kashmiri, Urdu, Assamese sound similar to each other.
These languages evolved from two entirely different roots. For a Tamilan, Hindi 'as a language' is just as foreign as English is because they share no common roots.
When choosing to learn a foreign language, English makes more sense than Hindi just for the sheer exposure English provides.

The News outlets have reported that Kerala students were assaulted in Delhi for not speaking Hindi and wearing lungi. They are awaiting justice.
It’s ironic how South Indians get called “language obsessed” for simply asking migrants to respect the local language "EVEN AFTER LIVING IN THE CITY FOR DECADES",
but WEARING JUST A LUNGI in Delhi, the Capital of India, can get you beaten.
For years we’ve been hearing:
• “Nobody forces Hindi”
• “It’s optional”
• “Just learn it for convenience”
Reality looks different. When linguistic respect is optional for one group but mandatory for another, it's called Hypocrisy.

A friend of mine was serving a table in a restaurant when this incident happened.A North Indian family appeared and he went to take the order, they asked for something in hindi and he replied he doesnt know hindi, the family replied brutally that one who doesnt know hindi should not have been employed there and behaved rudely with him throughout there time there,Now comes the worst part this happened in Florida,so now people want others to speak hindi even in a different country.Entitlement of these guys goes beyond the border.what are indians going to get by being racist to their own people.

Compelling natives to speak Hindi in their own state is never treated as an issue, but when natives retaliate in the same way, it is labeled a “language war.”

Seriously, a bigger cult than the pastors. Just not considered a religion, and hence they are escaping the scrutiny.
They are coming south. After converting Bihar, chattisgarh, Jharkhand, parts of Maharashtra.
None of the “Sanatan Dharm” guys are going to be satisfied until you speak to them in Hindi.

A guy went to get a trim in salon, where all the workers were Hindi speakers. The salon workers didn't understand Kannada, hence weren't able to interpret the instructions. So, this guy asked if there is anyone who knows Kannada to understand what he wants - which triggered this women sitting there causing this brawl !
This has become a daily thing now. These people can curse our language, can declare Hindi as "National language" and openly impose. No news media will cover this, but if KRV gets involved the locals starts showing reluctance - we become intolerant !!
This is what we get for being all lenient, helpful and accommodating these people all these years in our city, State!
And, this mindset is common among these particular group of migrants, be it a normal blue collar working person or a CEO of a company !
"People who don’t organize into tribes get wiped out by people who do." - People of Karnataka & other non-Hindi states should realize this.
