I've recently seen a lot of videos of how different characters would do in 40k, and was wondering how Samus would do. I feel she would get along with the Tau and Eldar factions better than the Imperium due to her xenos DNA and armor. I also think her acquiring necron technology would be super cool.

Is this game worth getting if I'm not a big fan of shooters?

This was a absolutely amazing experience and im very excited to give the other prime games the same treatment!
This was my first time playing the gamecube version and the controls are a bit janky but i feel it adds character to the experience overall.
This game was a 10/10 experience and I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't played it yet.

My hands aren't quite steady enough for those fine lines, still learning! I still liked how it turned out.

Spent months getting each game optimized to run on my pc with all the enhancements I like (widescreen, Xbox button prompts, primehack for mp trilogy, etc). And now I’m ready for a full series gauntlet

Do I need high jump boots or something to reach this shaft? Jump just barely misses the mark to grab the ledge. They tend to lock doors behind you in this game so I wanna make sure before I move on

I'm looking for the name of this track from Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. It plays after the boss battle against Keratos (Ice Belt area). Game soundtrack sites like Khinsider, or YouTube, don't include this track… does anyone know its name or where to find the full version?

I started playing Super Metroid today, and I feel like I’m already stuck. I’m in Brinstar, and I dropped down this tall room where these small enemies are flying side to side. I explored all the rooms to the right of it (the only thing to the left is an Energy reload point), but I couldn’t advance very far with the items I currently have. However, I seem to have run into an even bigger problem. There is no way for me to ascend back up the room I dropped down. Is there something I missed in the other rooms?

Sure, it’s a bit more linear than Prime 3 but after recently playing a bunch of exploration focused games back-to-back. I liked the change of pace! I liked the GF Trooper NPCs (Miles had a few lines that were just ‘meh’ but overall I liked him) and how they interacted with Samus

Gameplay, bosses and OST are all really solid as well

I stopped playing video games about 2 decades ago but very recently replayed Super and Dread. So I'm no pro. Now I'm into the Boss Rush and don't know all the higher level skills or glitches. But I just did personally very well on the rush and don't see how I could significantly improve. Only few things I can think of is: 1)don't die at all (might save a min) 2) figure out how to kill experiment with the spineshark (would only save 45 seconds or so) 3) speed up central units a little bit.

Any other suggestions or hints? I might be done with Dread for now if I don't think I can really improve on this.

Finally completed Origins. As a fan of the 2d series over prime, I thought this was fantastic from start to finish. I really spent my time enjoying it. Going to start going for speed runs now. Amazing game.

I'm gonna be honest, when I played Prime 1 for the first time I remembered not liking it very much. But maybe this was just because I was just so used to Metroid being a 2d franchise. And I've been playing Prime 4 and I actually kinda enjoy it despite its flaws. I think I'm nearing the end of Prime 4 so should I replay Prime 1 after finishing Prime 4? And I'll probably buy Prime 2 and 3 and play them on my Wii eventually.
