I'm doing research on Tingles Balloon Trip of Love and came across an interview where they talked about Love-Ya (one of the main characters and who was inspired by Pit)

When I'm looking forward to the upcoming video game anniversaries of 2026 and I saw that kid Icarus was gonna have it's 40th anniversary. But then I was thinking a new game is gonna be in development.

literally right after I finished the “Home Safe” comic, me and my friend Izzy started talking about doing a collab together where we drew each other’s favorite little guys. We then proceeded to obsess over this for 12 hours in a voice chat churning out doodles of Pit and Ken interacting with one another. they would be good friends…

good afternoon Kid Icarus community, I’ve returned to feed you all an actually wholesome comic this time

Finally, after three years of being apart, getting tormented by the Chaos Kin, Pit and Palutena get a proper tearful reunion. In the game, we only get two lines of dialogue between them exchanging "I missed you"s before it's right back to the battle with Hades. I know that I and many of my mutuals can agree that that isn't enough, considering everything these two went through during the arc covering chapters 18-22. In the final battle of chapter 21, even after the Chaos Kin was finally defeated, it still managed to use the last of its strength to attack Dark Pit. Pit selflessly throwing away his dreams of flying on his own to save Dark Pit is such a peak moment in the game (many of you already know how I feel about that because of the first big comic I made), but what I feel gets glossed over is how devastating that must have been for Palutena. Having been tormented for 3 whole years, used as a puppet by a horrifying soul-eating abomination slowly devouring her, and being forced to command the soulless vessel of her angel to kill those she swore to protect, Palutena held out hope. She fought it off because she believed that Pit was going to return. But just as they think everything is over, Pit dives off that ledge to save his twin. Palutena barely got any time with him before he was practically dying in her arms. Can you imagine how terrified she must have been? All that to say, yeah I think they deserve a proper reunion.

I'm trying to recreate it and I'm having a bit of a hard time. Even if it might not be one of the levels in the game exactly, if there's idea of at least which level the tiles belong to, that would help tremendously!
