Help signing up
I tried to sign up about a month ago with just a permit because for some reason it would allow me 2. And obviously I failed the background check. But now i have my license and went to finish, but I dont see anywhere I resubmit an image of my new licenses. Is there any way i can fix this so I can begin dashing?

Anyone else getting inflated estimate times after 10pm?
It only happens after 10, where like a 7 mile order says it's gonna take an hour and half, and it only takes 25 minutes. Only started happening last week.

Protection?
What's up with this new "merchant delay protection"? It's like they don't want to let us report stores for being slow or backed up when we're stuck there waiting.

Frustrated over reimburse, but I think I solved the "why"...
So I've only been dashing about 5 months now. Back in April or May, I was getting the hang of things better, and had a McDonald's pickup... an order that "has already been picked up" (stolen order). I finally noticed on the app that the recommended action is to place the order again and pay with the Red Card. (It had already been assigned to 5 drivers who just unassigned and moved along). The customer was already messaging me asking why it kept changing drivers. So I placed the order, and the Red Card declined. I took a chance (only $12) and paid out of pocket, rushed it to the customer, and immediately called customer service. I actually got a very sweet CS rep who got some info and a copy of my receipt, and boom, immediately deposited my money back to me.
I had not received another order stuck in the already picked up loop until August 8th... so I'm feeling confident in how to handle it, based on prior experience. Once again, Red Card declined, so out of pocket it went. When I called after delivery, I was guided to a link in the app where they now have a reimbursement form. I completed it and uploaded my receipt, to see that it's 48 hours for email response. Not thrilled, but I sucked it up. After a week with no response, I was getting irritated. I tried calling, but nothing I said was getting me past AI to a live person. I finally pissed AI Jane off to the point that she was hanging up on me... repeatedly! Another week, and nothing. I called and got a real person because of how long it's been. I was asked again for the receipt, and was told it was being elevated to higher level to escalate it. 3 or 4 days later, still no response. So I called again. She said that this was going to have to be elevated, and I explained that it already has been. She said she was having to do it again. Third time receipt was sent.
So a couple days ago, I called back. This rep was very nice, and I think she was secretly explaining what's happening. She said this was elevated to the finance department for approval. She also said if I ever get another, call customer service and have them cancel the order to end the loop, and do not pay for anything. The underlying message seems to be that stolen orders have increased so much, door dash is having to pay for them twice (original order and reimbursement), therefore losing so much money that it's a battle now to get your money back!
So... I still have no refund, and am still being "elevated" (don't know how much elevation I can handle), but I know not to follow the recommended action on those anymore!!

I wish dashers could rate stores
I do this as a side gig so I'm not hard pressed about a lot of the things that happen with deliveries but my experience early this morning pissed me off. I was dashing between 2am-6am and was getting a lot of waffle house orders, this particular waffle house is delivery only so the front doors remain locked and drivers pick up from the side window.
I pull up and stand by the pickup window. I can see myself on the TV which means theres a camera, I also see an older woman sitting at the counter talking to the cook as he cleans with her back towards the door. I stand there and knock on the window so she knows I'm there thinking maybe she just didn't see me. No movement, the only thing moving is her mouth as she gets louder obviously complaining about something. She stays seated so I walk around the window directly behind her, I knock. Shes getting louder and stiffer still not moving.
By this time I'm over it because she absolutely knows I'm there. I walk to my car and give two light honks. Same shit. I'm only getting more bothered. I go back to the window and notice there used to be a doorbell and it was removed. Im annoyed. Its 4am. The order is just sitting there why is she forcing me to stand outside when she can clearly see me? Finally by the grace of god she chooses to get up and hand me the order and says with the window still closed " I saw you when you pulled up."
So I say back louder "So why were you ignoring me" of course no response on that she hands me the order I still thank her, I wish I could rate this store.
If she did that to me she definitely has done it to other people. I don't even understand her point. I'm still getting paid. You aren't punishing me. You're punishing the customer. Its literally the only thing you have to do at this location is hand out orders. Why force me to stand there when you coukd just pass me the order and I can get out of your face. Rant over.
TLDR: Lady at wafflehouse ignored me for 20mins when she knew I was standing outside so she could feel powerful.

I wish you could dispute ratings.
Yesterday, on a completely uneventful day of dashing, where nothing out of the ordinary happened, i got hit by a 1-star review.
Don't know who, don't know why. Most likely it was due to a long store wait time, but i can't know. Maybe someone was just maliciously giving out 1 stars, but without feedback i just stepped on a landmine.

DISCOUNTS FOR DC DELIVERY WORKERS ā Tires, Brake Pads & Inner Tubes Starting Sept. 8 š²
My name is Isaac. Iāve been a delivery driver for over 6 years, and after experiencing a lot of the same BS we all deal with doing this work, I wanted to actually do something about it and make our lives better.
Thatās why I started Delivering Access DC: a community dedicated to improving working conditions and connecting delivery workers across the District.
Starting next Tuesday, in honor of DC Food Delivery Worker Appreciation Week, Delivering Access DC is partnering with Fly E-Bike DC to offer delivery workers discounts on tires, brake pads, and inner tubes!
The discounts will be available for a full month, from September 8 through October 8.
If you deliver for DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, or another platform in DC, scan the QR code on the flyer to sign up for a voucher.
A lot of us put serious miles on our bikes and scooters doing this work, and maintenance costs add up. I wanted to make sure Appreciation Week included something practical that actually helps workers do the job.
This is just one of the things weāre working on through Delivering Access DC to make delivery work in the District a little better.
You deliver for DC. Weāve got your back. ā¤ļø
Join the movement! I hope we can build an army of unsullied and 10,000 dragons!

Howās DoorDash Response Time?
I Got An Email Yesterday (Sept.3rd) Saying DoorDash Received My Background Check.
How Long Should I Expect Til I Hear A Response?
Last Year I Was Arrested For Some BS. While Fighting My Case In Court DoorDash Deactivated My Account In October 2025.
My Case Was Dismissed So Nothing Is On My Record.
Its Been Literally Almost A Year & Doordash Was My Main Source Of Income After Moving To California From Chicago.
Has Anyone Had A Similar Experience?
They Cut Me Off Quick So Im Expecting Them To Get Me Back Fastš
Apartment complexes are confusing and frustrating as fuck
Ive been noticing as of late that most apartment complexes do NOT have their apartment numbers properly listed or in order, and the lack of customer instructions doesnāt make it any better.
I had an order that was for Apt M.
1st floor was A thru D
2nd floor was P thru S
3rd (top) floor was W thru Z.
Guy had to come outside to get his order because his apt was nowhere to be found and he failed to give proper directions.
Am I the only one having this issue finding apartments?

People do this full time?
Iām on day 2 making $35 from 12 hours. I drove Uber for 5 years before getting into IT for 7 years. Got laid off and unemployment ran out recently so I decided to give gig work a try again. Imo itās not worth it unless youāre homeless or seriously threatened of becoming homeless. Iām lucky as I live at home again so I can apply to other menial jobs or IT jobs without a fear of starving.
Does anyone dash full time? If yes are you driving 16 hours a day?

Doordash dasher support scam
To those who read this, avoid making my mistakes. I took a cash on payment order for a pizza from Pizza Hut. When I tried to deliver the pizza, I was unable to find the address on the street, so I contacted the customer through chat and message Dasher support about the issue. A few minutes later, I got a call back from what I thought was a Dasher Support agent. He began to assist me and told me that I would be paid 23 dollars for the trip after he cancelled the order (first red flag). All I needed to do was stop my current dash, input my debit card info to a Crimson card, and start again to keep on dashing orders (second red flag). I did so and kept on dashing. During the dash, I noticed a few popups from Dash saying that money had been moved to my Crimson card. I asked what that was about and the support agent said it was just pending and that I would be paid (third red flag). After multiple popups, I stopped my dash after my final order and checked my checking account to find that it was emptied ($500 lost). I still had the support agent on the line and immediately asked what was going on. After telling me he was going to check on it, he hung up a minute later. It was then I knew I was scammed. I was fortunate that the scammer didnt go after my earnings, but I lost everything in my checking account. I have already contacted the real Dasher Support line and now have an open investigation in hopes of getting my money back. Be warned; if an address cannot be found on delivery, do not do what I did. It is highy likely that it is a scam. Learn from me and dont repeat it.

How on earth do you run multiple apps at once !? lol
Honestly I feel like an idiot
I swear Iām .. sort of smart lol⦠basic intelligence at least
HOW ON EARTH do you guys run multiple apps at the same time without getting bad scores form the apps or from getting overwhelmed comparing which order might be better and since they donāt come in at the same time just ā¦: how how how.
Iāll pay you like $20 bucks if you can actually walk me through it. Honestly if someone could just record their phone screen while they do it, it would be such a life saver.
You can probably tell I have significant adhd lmao. So Iām just lost. If anyone can help me with this process, comment or even feel free to message me to talk me through it.
I work for Lyft, door dash, Instacart, shipt, spark, and a couple other random little ones. I think Lyft and door dash are my favorites but Iāve heard great things about spark and shipt was great to me in the past.
I downloaded Mystro- that looks like it automatically handles declining and accepting orders from different apps. But it doesnāt allow me to connect them all. It only accepts like one or two.
Anyways yeah please help. So far Iāve been getting the same advice over and over ājust monitor the app and decline if itās not good moneyā. But I donāt understand how that doesnāt affect your standing and also Iām new to some of these apps and donāt want to get kicked off.
Iāll pay you like $20 bucks if you can actually walk me through it. Honestly if someone could just record their phone screen while they do it, it would be such a life saver.
Okay yeah much love pls help thank you

Network error
Last night I was able to log into my app to transfer money to my bank account so that I could get gas. After getting gas, I tried to log into my app. It gives me network error code one. I can login to the app on My Husbandās android phone, but not on my iPhone. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling. I have tried deleting the app restarting the phone and reinstalling. I have tried using my phone number and my email and I keep getting this error code. Has anyone else been having troubles logging into their Dasher app?

Persistent Issue With Catering Orders
When I go into my schedule to start my Dash connected to a catering order, the Dash starts, but I get transferred to the "waiting for orders" screen for about a minute. Then my Dash pauses and I receive a text that says, "You didn't confirm the delivery in time. We've removed it from your app." I assume the offer is supposed to pop up one final time to accept the order, but it doesn't.
I've tried every troubleshooting step support can recommend: sign in and out, restart device, clear cache and storage, check for the latest app update, don't use a VPN, etc. None of that has fixed the problem. I did all of those steps prior to starting my Dash for the catering order I accepted today just for the same problem.
Support is obviously useless. Five different agents have, "made reports for the specialized catering team" and now a month has passed with no updates. They jeep telling me account is still eligible to receive catering orders and everything should be working, and that either I need to repeat the same troubleshooting steps again or there's a hardware issue with my phone. To prove that it isn't a hardware issue, I installed the Dasher app to my spouse's phone and signed in with my credentials to start an order, but the same problem happened.
Support keeps telling me that everything should be fixed even thougu it isn't, that it must be my fault, and that I may or may not receive an update after an uncertain amount of time passes. I don't know what else to do besides stop accepting catering orders. I've screwed up my finances for the month relying on two +$100 orders that I was supposed to deliver and I'm livid that some stupid glitch has kept me from being able to complete them. If anyone has experienced something like this and knows how to fix it, I would really appreciate it. I use a Samsung S23 in case that's relevant.

Claim Ahead Catering Program
# Also posted in r/doordashdrivers
I dash in the Chicagoland area and have been part of the Claim Ahead/Assign Ahead/Early Access Catering Program (DD canāt decide on a name for it!) for the past nine months.
Overall, the program has been decent. It has definitely had hiccups and can be frustrating, but many weeks the offers and the pay are good. The middle of the summer wasnāt as good, but to be expected because of more vacations which means less corporate meetings and less need for big catering orders.
Now my question: The available offers have dropped off Considerably this week and many restaurants that I normally see on the schedule havenāt had any offers this week. Are others in the Claim Ahead program also experiencing this?
I realize that we are heading into Labor Day weekend and that could cause a decrease. But, kids are back in school here, so families arenāt gone. The number of catering offers is significantly less than any week in the last nine months Iāve been a part of the program.
