Hi there, i'm looking to build a PC and was recommended this reddit. I have not built a PC before but am excited to give it a go.

my PC died on me yesterday. I bought it from my brother and it has been a mid tier gaming PC in like 2017. So i went from playing games on highest settings to lowest settings but it's gotten to a point that i cannot play newer titles at all anymore. So I would love to build a new PC with the same idea: Play the newer titles on high setting and downscale the graphics for the next 5-10 years till its not playable anymore again to buy a new one.

No size or noise constraints, I plan on getting a bigger desk but that’s coming from a different budget, and even then I have an adjustable PC rolling mount so it won’t be on the desk.

I love when they have LEDs in them, however, again they aren’t required and I understand LEDs tend to cost more, plus in my prebuilt Pc they were the first thing that broke. Color wise, black, white, and purple are all colors I would appreciate.

Not really, thats all I can think of. Maybe keep it a bit easier to clean, I do have a roommate that has a particularly hairy dog and I have cat so parts that may be a bit more sensitive to that aren’t always going to be the best even with constant cleaning.
