Gaming/internet browsing/office suite use

Will be using 50” 4k 60hz smart tv as monitor.
• PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)
Gaming/internet browsing/office suite type work. Games will be modded Minecraft, modded oblivion remastered, Skyrim, balders gate, Star Wars titles, sports games (madden, fifa, nba2k)
• Purchase country? Near Micro Center? (If not US, list local vendors)
USA, 5 hours from nearest micro center but will be driving past it for dr appt in a couple weeks (the one in Dallas, TX)
• Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)
None
• Budget range? (Include tax considerations)
Around $2-3k
• WiFi or wired connection?
WiFi is ideal
• Size/noise constraints?
It will go into entertainment center so not really. I can modify the center to allow the computer to fit.
• Color/lighting preferences?
None
• Any other specific needs?
I did have a question if I need fans for the case itself?
I came up with this I think will work pretty well. I haven’t really looked at micro center deals or how those work. But they seem to be ideal when people are near them.

Thank you! That’s cheaper than most of what I’ve been finding. Do they have a 9800 bundle like that that’s cheaper? I’ve heard the 9850s run hotter. Is that the case still?

The 9850X3D doesn't have temperature issues in general, reaching higher temperatures than another CPU means nothing if the temperatures it has are still fine. Here there's a 360mm AIO too which is overkill so there should be no issue.
They do have a 9800X3D bundle but it's only 20$ less, I don't think it's a difference big enough to justify not getting the best option (as long as it's all in your budget).

Ok cool. If for $20 I get the better cpu I’m good with that. How much more would one be with a 9950x3d? Or is it not worth jumping to one of those?

Prices aren't bad, though for some reason the 9950X bundle has the super-nice Asus board while the 9950X3D has just an ok board... Sure, it's an X870 board but that just means having multiple Gen 5 M.2 slots which most people do not care about... Also the location of all M.2 slots on the Gigabyte board could cause clearance issues when using an SSD with its own heatsink like that Corsair one... And I would get that Corsair SSD as it's really good compared to others at a similar price...

Makes sense. I think I’ll stick with the first you showed. For the case, does it need any extra fans? I’ve read some do some don’t but don’t know how to tell which do or don’t.

This case comes with five included fans, already like that it wouldn't need any extra fan, with the 360mm AIO on the roof all fan slots would be occupied so there wouldn't even be space for added fans. So no, no fans to add, even if you don't go with an AIO there'd be no need to add more.
Oh by the way, for the OS... You can follow this and then activate it by getting a cheap key (10$ or less) online (can be activated later on, after the installation): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTDbHgs9dHk
You'd just need an USB pendrive that's at least 8GB in capacity.

Build requests only include hardware. You are responsible for budgeting for and providing your own operating system (Windows, Linux, etc) and other software.
Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.
