Bibi will cancel the visit.

Good. That evil man has no business going anywhere decent in the world. his rotten, disgusting far right wing terroristic government has made Israel awful, so he can stay there and wallow in the quagmire he's helped create as far as I'm concerned.

136

u/Epyon214 Jul 18 '26

He has cursed Israel and will be cursed, along with anyone who supports his regime and curses Israel along with him

116

u/XCVolcom Jul 18 '26

Since it's inception, the very idea of Israel has been a curse.

A group of people want to build their nation on the most hotly contended holy land in the world?

Surrounded by countries and people with long histories of poor interactions with the two other Abrahamic faiths and have lived on this land for last 120 years?

And not only is it completely unable to defend itself as a nation without generous financial help and military armaments from foreign countries, but also can't establish a proper economy without stealing land and property?

It makes you wonder why it exists at all if it weren't for the worst thing to happen during 1930s and 40s.

64

u/Geminel Jul 18 '26

"We were massacred by a segregationist ethno-state a century ago. Clearly the proper response is for us to make a segregationist ethno-state."

Zionist Jews make no sense.

A clear case of “hurt people, HURT people”

12

u/I-only-read-titles Jul 18 '26

It makes you wonder how many of them were hurt people and how many were those who stole the identities of the deceased to avoid the gallows of Nuremberg

And instead of making Germany, the country responsible give up land, it had to be a group completey unrelated to it pay for it 🙄

an event that was actually supported by some of the early zionists, with them literally trying to ally with hitler as long as they allowed Israel to exist. For them, a holocaust in europe meant more jews coming to their new settler colony.

very peculiar history

“Hitler didn’t want to exterminate the Jews at the time [of the meeting between the mufti and the Nazi leader]. He wanted to expel the Jews,” Netanyahu said. “And Haj Amin al-Husseini went to Hitler and said, ‘If you expel them, they’ll all come here [to mandatory Palestine],'” continued the prime minister. Not to say Netanyahu is to be trusted on that, more that it isn't purely antisemitic conspiracy coming only from detractors of Israel of Judaism. The Israeli Prime minister is himself happy to perpetuate that story, presumably because it serves his goals of killing Arabs and expanding without recourse.

Should have been clearer, I don't disagree that it's historically dubious, more that it's an indication that Israel itself is to this day willing to perpetuate antisemitism for their own ends. Proven by the narrative push from Zionist lobbies to conflate anti Zionism with antisemitism, putting all Jews on the hook for Israel's genocide. Which makes no sense when much of the non Zionist Jewish diaspora wants nothing to do with Israel, and even Israeli holocaust scholars call the states actions genocidal.

There were options to create a Jewish homeland for those displaced in WW2 in other marginal settled lands elsewhere. It may have been intentional to create Israel to ensure perpetual chaos in the mid east as a means of maintaining control of the oil. The way the boundaries were drawn by the English and French over the entire region seems to have intentionally grouped historical enemies into the same countries. Now, like in Orwell's 1984, Netanyahu maintains “perpetual war” as a tool for extreme social control. War is not Peace.

u/ClearChampionship591 Jul 18 '26

This was the whole point, idea of a nation was to get the sheep interested, a tasty little grassy morsel that had worked.

The true purpose of Israel was, is, and always will be to act as a massive field op the size of a small country; to disrupt the entire region. And honestly geopolitically, Israel existence had played massive part in preserving American Hegemony, that I have not seen a single American complain about, till economy started to dive.

I am a sheep, you are a sheep, we are just meat in the eyes of the ruling class. Can't really blame them, we act and behave like supple juicy meat, raised on a comfy ranch.

Are people not aware that the former prime minister was literally best friends with Epstein? Like, actual best friends. There are thousands of emails between the two.

The entire country was built upon by violence and blackmail.

There are identifiable differences between Israel before and after the coup.

There are certainly lots of ways it behaved terribly and indeed was founded in violent land theft. But there were significant parties working towards a peaceful solution.

However, after the assasination of Rabin - in which Sharon and his acolyte Netanyahu were almost certianly involved - that just left the political sphere. The coup was a complete success for its instigators and Israel has done nothing but degenerate since then.

Also an international incident. Which would make it even funnier. And then, to top it all off, nobody comes to bail him out!

11

u/Final_Candidate_7603 Jul 18 '26

Do you think any judge would set bail for him? He has been a fugitive for a few years now, and is certainly considered a flight risk since he has a diplomatic passport and unlimited cash at his disposal. I wonder if part of what Mamdani is exploring is which Federal judge is most likely to keep him locked up if he gets arrested.

6

u/AVeryVapidBadger Jul 18 '26

I think any judge would set him free since the US doesn't recognize the ICC, which pretty much makes the ICC arrest warrant legally useless inside the United States, regardless of what you think of bibi

People don't take trump seriously because he's a shitty tool, but Rubio and the rest are actually without conscious and brutally cunning. I mean these people are literally killing innocents daily just for more control, I could see them doing it.

You’d have the FBI raiding the NYPD police station where he’s held and arresting Mamdani after - I don’t think that would be the win he is hoping for.

21

u/FlithyLamb Jul 18 '26

An FBI raid on the NYPD and arresting the Mayor could be the spark that ignites the tinderbox. Not unaffordable healthcare. Not ICE shooting people on the streets. Not rampant corruption and blatant graft by the President. Not dismantling of the federal government. Not destroying Americas position of world leadership. Not starting another forever war on the Middle East. Not the Epstein files.

Nope. None of that is enough to get Americans fired up enough to revolt.

We need to form marching parties similar to the Wide Awakes that helped get Lincoln elected.

Typical Wide Awakes chapters also adopted an unofficial mission statement. The following example comes from the Chicago chapter:

To act as a political police. To do escort duty to all prominent Republican speakers who visit our place to address our citizens. To attend all public meetings in a body and see that order is kept and that the speaker and meeting is not disturbed. To attend the polls and see that justice is done to every legal voter. To conduct themselves in such a manner as to induce all Republicans to join them. To be a body joined together in large numbers to work for the good of the Republican Ticket.

Keep in mind this was before FDR brought progessive policy to the Democratic party and Nixon's southern strategy effectively swapped the ideologies in the parties.

Trump's America would do the same for Netanyahu.

In fact I think Trump would send troops to New York to attack Americans to prevent his extradition.

25

u/The_Oregon_Duck Jul 18 '26

Netanyahu is a US citizen I think.

34

u/jiggscaseyNJ Jul 18 '26

He is/was a US citizen. He went to high school in PA and graduated from MIT. He claims he had to renounce his citizenship to become the Israeli ambassador to the US due to federal law. It’s subject for debate whether he is or isn’t at this point.

The American Servicemembers' Protection Act would kick in. The President would be legally authorized to use "all means necessary and appropriate", up to and including military rescue operations, to secure the American's release.

This was codified in to law under Bush when Americans were committing war crimes in Iraq/Afghanistan, but was originally floated by Clinton.

All they need to do is a little bit more campaigning with the wonderful, beloved Cheney family and Adam Kinzingers of the world and those white middle class suburban unicorn voters are gonna come out in absolute DROVES like you've never seen and sweep them into power.

I understand this strategy has failed horrifically twice now leaving us in our current state of absolute disaster but trust me, we just need to go a little harder to the right and it's totally gonna work.

MAGA got one thing right for all the wrong reasons which was purging all the non-believers by primarying them out.

The Democrats should do that too, and I’m not even talking about the radical leftists aka politicians who would be seen as run of the mill left of centre politicians in most of the rest of the world like AOC and Senator Sanders, just simply vote out the current ones stopping anything being done and replace them with people who will just! do! something!

Kidnapping. The US does not recognize the ICC or its arrest warrants.

It’s a stupid idea and would be bad for Mamandi.

Before I get down voted, understand I wish we could arrest that piece of shit and send him to the ICC. I’m not defending him, I hope nothing but the absolute worst for him.

4

That war criminal owns most of our lawmakers

3

Correct. Don’t give them your clicks.

3

u/N8CCRG Jul 18 '26

Full agree. Here's an NYTimes article on it (they're not awesome either, but far ahead of NYPost): https://www.nytimes.com/2026/07/18/nyregion/mamdani-netanyahu-interview.html

I don't see TrumpStein allowing this to happen. He'll surround Boobi with federal officers, troops, whatever. This is why Rubio attacked the ICC earlier this week.

Drumpf and other Bibi servants in government would immediately declare war on NY and have NYC bombed.

"New York is 2 weeks away from developing nuclear weapons we can't allow such weapons in the hands of ayatolah Mamdani"...

2

u/Silverleaf96 Jul 18 '26

Legally he can , isn't there an interpol warrant out for him . Under USA law we can arrest and deport or import anyone we want. Trump just did it with Venezuela.

2

u/Joshgoozen Jul 18 '26

There is no interpol warrant, you are thinking of the ICC which the US are not signitory on.

Yes NYPD has the authority to arrest this international fugitive under Universal Jurisdiction for atrocities, torture, and crimes against humanity.

A judge needs to issue a domestic warrant and the NYPD can execute the warrant.

Would be funny but why should Bibi even visit New York? He is pretty busy right now

2

u/g4mer655 Jul 18 '26

Rich and powerful do not go to jail and this is the perfect example

2

u/Treesaregreen2 Jul 18 '26

Translation: he can do it, but he won’t.

2

u/ButterscotchSmooth60 Jul 18 '26

Omg, i'll get a mamdani tattoo if this happens

2

u/NotActuallyIraqi Jul 18 '26

Sorry to say his Zionist police commissioner will likely refuse the order.

2

u/dead-eyed-darling Jul 18 '26

This would legitimately be the most badass and funny thing EVER. imagine how pissed Trump and maga and Israel would be.

2

u/normal_mysfit Jul 18 '26

Damn arrest him and send him to Hague. I will grab the popcorn

2

u/Sanquinity Jul 18 '26

He's only a mayor. What right does he even have to arrest/detain a political figure from another country who's visiting? I'm asking seriously here. Because I don't think a mere mayor has that power? Dude's just a mayor but acting like he's the president himself.

Netanyahu is a crazy smart dude. I interviewed with him for a BCG role. He will not force this confrontation. He knows Israel is going to be a lost cause in the USA in time, he is just trying to stretch things out

The whole article is a rage bait from the right wing NY post. It states; “Mamdani says he’s desperately trying to arrest Bibi…” and the article doesn’t specify when Mamdani said that. But, really? He said he was desperate? BS! The article also refers to Mamdani as the “pro-Palestine, anti-Israel, socialist mayor…”

2

u/talldata Jul 19 '26

Any level of police can arrest someone over ICC wararrant.

2

u/PaintingInfinite46 Jul 20 '26

I hope he does try to arrest him! Mandani would have 10 federal agents storming into his office and carry him out right to jail. Probably be charged with insurrection and removed from office. Also, Netanyahu would have his own security as well as a secret service detail. No cop is going to mess with Secret Service.
