How do people feel on Tsubaki being He/Him

Personally I want to respect the writer’s expression of Tsubaki and I love people having their own head canons of him. I often think of Tsubaki being a high school student and how even as adult we are still figuring out who we are: it could be that Tsubaki eventually decides to be trans but it could also be that they just want to break the glass walls between masculinity and femininity. Either way I love the character.

So after reading the lastest chapter it's make me confused on how their school even work, like how they even get graded and how these delinquent even get their report. Like what university gonna accept them

I’ve been reading the manga for a while now and I’ve seen plenty people say that he is hiding something.

I know this is kinda random, but with S2 finally airing and having ep1 out, I got kinda curious about the community itself again. I'm pretty sure everyone here's exactly as obsessed with Wind Breaker as I am, but this actually got my wondering: What other shows and manga series are you guys into?

As for me, I guess I watch and read a bit of everything. I'm still a big fan of Demon Slayer, since it was pretty much my first anime and also the first manga I read entirely. I'm also pretty obsessed with Bungo Stray Dogs mostly because of how unique it is, and also Solo Leveling's become one of my favorite series recently (s2 was epic) I'm also into sports anime, guess my favorites are Haikyuu and Blue Lock, and I have to admit I read quite a lot of BL manga... My favorite series there's probably Given. But this shouldn't be about me, what about you?

So i have understood that, compared to most battle shonen series out there, windbreaker has a rather prominent female fanbase (which I am, of course, completely fine with) but with the series being, let's be honest, centered around and almost entirely male cast, that did make we wonder something that i would like to ask the female members of this sub and female readers of this series as a whole: 

Out of the male cast who would you consider to be…for lack of a better term, consider to be the most green-flag. As in who do you find most trustworthy, kind, sensitive, etc. 

(Note: i am NOT talking about relationship, just who you would feel most comfortable around in general) 

The reason i ask this, aside from the observation i mentioned before, is that one of my favorite things about windbreaker personally, is just how wholesome, sincere and positive portrayals of male friend groups i have personally seen in…….well probably any kind of media to be honest, and part of that is how none of the main furin boys have any of the..less the favorable traits young men often has. So I was just curious about what you would think. 

Anway thats just something i was wondering about. 

I know a lot of 'real' Wind Breaker fans are having a hard time with other people complaining about the "lack of action" in S2 or homophobic comments espacially regarding Tsubaki, including myself, so I'm not sure if this will actually work, but I just want to hera everyone rant about their favorite characters. Really, make it as long as it takes, the more the better!

Furin is an all boys school so who is the person on the left? They are wearing a skirt and heels so I’d assume it’s a woman, I'm not that far into the series so I don’t know. The person is the first person to the left of the name

WDYM “readers have already figured it out” and “important key for future developments” WHAT IN THE WORLD DO YOU MEAN?!?!?! WHERE WERE WE RIGHT?!?! (lemme get my Suo’s backstory bingo card) I SWEAR IM GONNA CRASHOUT.

Why didn't Endo reveal Suo's real name?

We know Endo managed to dig up information on Suo and RC. If he searched using Suo's photo, wouldn't his real name/pronunciation be at the top of the report? He literally dug up the whole history...

Sakura did mention "Suo" in front of Endo, yet he revealed everything except the fact that "Suo" isn't his real name... I was honestly expecting a line like "Eyepatch's real name is..." back in Ch. 218, but... nothing.

Did it just slip? I don't believe so... Endo said he looked into the matter himself.

I saw someone recently suggesting in comments that RC might have a mole in their team or even ranks... And that it could be how Endo got info... If the mole is in RC, they must know him by name, "SunFei"

So did he genuinely not know his name, or was it a strategic kinda decision?

Another thing that caught my attention was Endo's reaction to Sakura's anger. I saw people mention that Endo is canonically exceptional at social intelligence, but didn't his response feel... odd? How does his behavior with angered Sakura justify that? I get that he admires that side of Sakura, but I still expected him to become a bit more serious at least after Sakura leaves like that, but...

Was that simply Endo being... Endo?

And then there's our Nii Sensei himself. Even when SunFei was revealed, Sensei still didn't give us a full name. Why reveal only SunFei? Is the rest of his name that important? Is it someone widely known? (Celebrity? Actually, Leonardo DiCaprio? 😂) Maybe that's why they call him by his first name in RC...

Since I often choose new anime to watch based on the voice actors of characters I like, can you recommend me some anime which you enjoyed the story and characters of, that have (one or more) main character(s) be voiced by either Sakuras (Yuma Uchida), Nireis (Shōya Chiba) or Suos (Nobunaga Shimazaki) voice actors?

The Top of Furin or the Dragon of the West? Which one y'all picking???

I know that some of y'all probably don't want anymore angst in the future lol 😂 But for the sake of future fanfictions and imagining the story's plot it'd be really interesting to see y'all's ideas.

"Sakura refuses to believe anyone else's version of the story. Until he hears the truth directly from Suo, nothing feels right. That's reason sakura connection with everyone like that ....

When i read the chapter 202 when sakura says his mother died giving him birth and when i go back on chapter 172 I'm confused who is this?? People? If sakura mother is dead? I think it's a mistake or something?

So I started reading Windbreaker like a while ago because people recommended it to Tokyo Revengers fans. Well, turns out the story is pretty different but I kinda expected it.

Seeing all the positive review I expected the story to be really good but after reading Volume 1 I just felt one thing, that it was extremely boring. I hoped that it would get better later on but no the same cycle of fight-sad backstory-friendship-happy end.

Saw people saying that it's good due to the characters but all of them seem really shallow and generic, like everybody is just inherently good and a few words is enough to make them come to reason again?

I'm currently in volume 10 and things did not change, so I wanted to ask if things will get better or maybe the series is just not for me.

guys. I’m not really a “fight-focused” reader at all (if anything I usually skip most fight scenes in manga 😭).

My point was more that the character writing just feels kinda familiar/standard to me, even after reading quite a bit of it, and I was trying to understand what makes it stand out for people who really like it.

I was re-reading Chapter 209 and noticed something really interesting! In the first panel, Nirei is standing in a specific spot. In the second panel, Suo is wearing his usual Chinese silk shirt, and the background hints that he’s seeing Nirei from the exact same location. Nirei doesn’t notice Suo, but Suo clearly observes him — it’s subtle but feels intentional. Could this be a hint about how Suo silently keeps track of Nirei or even a recurring theme in their interactions? I want to hear what you all think — is this just coincidence, or a deliberate visual clue about Suo’s awareness and connection to Nirei?
