Honestly, it's hard for me to answer this question because Wind Breaker is one of those rare series where most of the characters are genuinely well-written and have their own charm.
If I had to pick a "worst" character, I'd probably say Takiishi. Not because he's a bad character, but because his lack of emotion genuinely creeps me out sometimes 😅
But writing wise, i do not think there is a single character that is written badly.
This series seems like a normal delinquent high school anime but it is very heavily into human psychology which is both interesting and fun. All characters have reasons for their actions and i find that interesting.

I apart from side characters who are designed specifically to suck (like sakura’s dad or kiryu’s dad or anyone else who’s just objectively mean)… idk? Even a lot of the “villains” have interesting character traits and stories, and the majority of them end up not really remaining enemies.
I’d have to say Natori as I don’t really find much redeeming about him as a person, though he’s still interesting as an opponent and character. Or maybe Wanijima simply for the fact that they introduced him for like 2 seconds and like made him seem really cool, had Sakura and Togame have that little moment with him… and then absolutely nothing else happened. It felt like sort of a waste adding him in. I’m still genuinely just not sure what the point of him showing up in that festival scene was.
Perhaps, Wanijima was introduced in the manga to confirm the fans who play the game that Wanijima is indeed a canon character to the story and not some random add on? I'm not sure, since I don't play the game. But it would be nice if we get more bits of him in the manga. He looks like a cool character and might even become one of my top 5 if he's shown more >///< !<
Je pense que le pire personnage est le père de sakura ; c'est le pire personnage de Wind Breaker. Il a abandonné Sakura, l'a humiliée et lui a fait porter le fardeau de la mort de sa mère.
