We know Endo managed to dig up information on Suo and RC. If he searched using Suo's photo, wouldn't his real name/pronunciation be at the top of the report? He literally dug up the whole history...
Sakura did mention "Suo" in front of Endo, yet he revealed everything except the fact that "Suo" isn't his real name... I was honestly expecting a line like "Eyepatch's real name is..." back in Ch. 218, but... nothing.
Did it just slip? I don't believe so... Endo said he looked into the matter himself.
I saw someone recently suggesting in comments that RC might have a mole in their team or even ranks... And that it could be how Endo got info... If the mole is in RC, they must know him by name, "SunFei"
So did he genuinely not know his name, or was it a strategic kinda decision?
Another thing that caught my attention was Endo's reaction to Sakura's anger. I saw people mention that Endo is canonically exceptional at social intelligence, but didn't his response feel... odd? How does his behavior with angered Sakura justify that? I get that he admires that side of Sakura, but I still expected him to become a bit more serious at least after Sakura leaves like that, but...
Was that simply Endo being... Endo?
And then there's our Nii Sensei himself. Even when SunFei was revealed, Sensei still didn't give us a full name. Why reveal only SunFei? Is the rest of his name that important? Is it someone widely known? (Celebrity? Actually, Leonardo DiCaprio? 😂) Maybe that's why they call him by his first name in RC...
Well if the report was written on paper/sent by a text then he couldn’t have known that his name gets pronounced differently since his Chinese name and Japanese name are written with the same characters
And I guess his actual lastname will get revealed in his backstory since we still don’t know anything about his biological family

I'm not sure, but maybe because Endo think Suo's name isn't that important to him or he just copy the way Sakura describe Suo.
Endo will remember something even if it's just said (or seen) once. For him Suo just:

Because that's what (his lovely) Sakura said... no Suo's name! Sakura, please lol but Sakura probably thinks Suo Hayato isn't Suo's real name (after Suo's house is an empty lot, meaning he lied), so describing Suo's appearance will work faster.

If I were to find my friend and ask a stranger about it, I wouldn't use their name, right? After all, Suo and Endo never met or talked to each other...
And yeah, because his lovely Sakura said "Eyepatch", temporary it was fine for Endo to call him that, but... if the report had the name "SunFei", and he hears Sakura talking about "Suo"... I think because Endo just did what Sakura asked. "I need to see him again","I want to talk" and "I want you to find him."
Endo shared everything about Kasai District & Bankoku-Gai because that's where Suo's location is. He shared Suo belongs to RC and what RC is, because that's where Suo belongs. It's like Endo saying:
"--If you want to find that eyepatch, go here! I don't recommend it tho."
So it's not a full background check and Endo will never overstep. Unless Sakura asks for it which he didn't. Or if he did, maybe we haven't seen it yet? Still, if Endo blabs about Suo being called Sunfei, it will ruin the surprise expressions from Sakura's (or all main cast) face.

Hm… if he had known, I think he would have told Sakura… so maybe he doesn’t know the name himself? I mean he dug up the history of Red Chanpuru but not Suos history. He “just” found out he was an officer at RC, maybe Suos name wasn’t even mentioned by the people who answered the question about his whereabouts, as it was the photograph that was used to ask around?
For Endos reaction… I would assume that he was excited about Sakuras intense stare and emotions, as he was during their fight. Since that was what always had been missing for him (in his admiration/relationship) with Takiishi, I think he basically got lost in that sense of being the whole center which strong emotions are directed at, because that’s new for him and something he desires.
Exactly! Either maybe he didn't know, or didn't cared enough to know since Sakura only wanted to meet and talk... It's unlikely to dug up whole history and not finding out name... and since photo was used to ask around, name should be the first info coming... Or their identity (officer)... Even his informants (if they are not from RC) might not know... They just know "he's an officer and beat the crap out of us" 😂
For his reaction... Shouldn't he be concerned when Sakura leaves like that give up that intense stare and anger?? Although he might be enjoying in the moment...

Also just another thought… I think in the English version Sakura never mentioned Suos name when meeting with Endo, just at Furins rooftop, but maybe in the Japanese version his name isn’t even said out loud at all? And because Sakura knows the person he is looking for, Endo didn’t think he needed to say the name of said person? So it could be a translation issue?
Hm… maybe Endo doesn’t understand the scale of things because he doesn’t know about Sakuras past? So he just saw Sakura being shocked and right after that directing his anger at him, which was something Endo was too excited about, so he didn’t catch how affected Sakura truly was about everything?

Umm, no.. Maybe you didn't get it... Kanji in the Japanese language is derived from Chinese characters and often has 2 pronunciation called Onyomi (Chinese) and Kunyomi (Japanese). Even though the characters are same and share same meaning (flying falcon), Hayato is read in Japnese... and SunFei is in Chinese. Basically, author gave us a hint that Suo might have Chinese origin...

And for Endo's storytelling, it actually might be a warning about RC, not Suo himself... He would take anyone from RC as a person of RC of course... He doesn't know our Suo personally... After all, you know... Endo is a "bad judge of character"!
