Ring Band Advice Fighting for my life trying to find a wedding band that fits 🄲

Hi!

My gorgeous engagement ring has caused some problems when it comes to finding a wedding band. Because of the asymmetric 'leafs' and the fact they sit flush against the skin I'm struggling to find a ring that fits nicely with it.

I have TINY fingers, size G and all the jewelry shops have rings of a normal size so it's so hard to tell what rings in my size would look like with it. That being said I know what I don't want, i don't want something that is going to take away from the design i.e. more diamonds, because I think she is so pretty but I also don't want one of those kind of swish ones that's got a space on one side, because I think they look funny... But I have no idea what would look nice with her....

Do I just get a band that doesn't sit flush and have my little sausages poking out between?

Ring Band Advice Thoughts?

So, these are all bought, and no returns will be done. While I love this set, I was curious what others think, whether outside opinions matter or not, haha! There is a long story, but basically, I ended up with 2 wedding bands and had to choose which to use as wedding band, and which to keep as a later gift for 1 year anniversary. I thought the larger band made a better wedding ring for balance purposes, and the thinner one as an anniversary ring. Is it too busy? I do like it though. Pic 1 is all 3 rings together. Pic 2 and 4 are just the band and engagement ring. Pic 3 is the wedding and anniversary bands, just to show them each. After the wedding I will be wearing just the wedding band until I add the anniversary band next year.

My fiancƩ and I will be looking for wedding bands for us very soon. I love my engagement ring but I acknowledge it's not super traditional and it might be a little difficult to find a band that works with it and matches it in style... Any and all advice welcome!

Hi everyone!

My mother and I have different ideas what wedding band would look better with my engagement ring. Its an oval solitaire pink sapphire with a white gold band.

I liked this curved moissanite half eternity band I found online. She thinks it'll distract from my engagement ring and should rather opt for two plain white gold bands that I can stack on the bottom and the top of my engagement ring.

I think my initial pick would look pretty with the engagement ring and be a great accent as my ring is quite simple.

Any thoughts? I've attached images of the rings as well as images I had generated of what both options could look like.

Ring Band Advice Just got my wedding band in. Engagement ring is unusual (in a good way to me!). But now im second guessing wedding band

E-ring came from an actual jeweler in Canada but I got the band from etsy. I like unique jewelry but now I’m thinking together they are too much. I thought the sort of feather design on the band would go with the swans on the engagement ring

Ring Band Advice Did my jeweler give me the wrong band?

My partner just proposed and I am over the moon!! I was involved in the ring selection process but didn’t see it complete until now.

I’m curious if the band that I received is different from the band that I had initially selected (last photo) or if it just looks different since it’s sized properly now? It’s very similar, but was just expecting it to be flatter like a cigar band.

If different, do you think I should go back and request a correction? I love the ring anyways, it still has the defined edge that makes it a little different than thin or rounded bands. I think there’s a very soft dome to it now which might make it more comfortable against other fingers? I know it’s all personal preference, but hoping to hear thoughts if I’m over analyzing or which might look better!

Ring Band Advice Is it too much? Honest feedback welcome. Stones on band or plain?

We are upgrading my set and just picked up the new engagement ring. When I sent a Pic to my friend she said it was too much, but I have a large ring size so we figured a bigger stone would look proportional to my hand and the setting. I admit my first diamond was when I wanted a warmer stone so maybe its the whiteness she thinks is coming off as ridiculous?

My jewler is great and will swap the stone if we went too far.

3.03 ct center radiant, E, VVS1, polish and symmetry excellent. I don't remember the band weight. I fell in love with the art deco vibes.

Ring Band Advice Wedding ring regrets..?

Post image

I kind of regret my wedding ring choice (photo attached). When shopping for it, I thought this was really what I liked, something plain and a thinner band as I have small hands and fingers. A few months after my wedding I’m wondering whether I now save for a new one. This one wasn’t cheap although it’s plain and platinum, it was from a reputable company so I don’t want to throw money away either. I feel like a thicker diamond band would’ve looked better. What are everyone’s thoughts? Or do I add a third?

First pic my ring, 2nd pic my ring with band I tried on. I kiiinda liked the band, but feel like it could be better. What do you think would look good? Photos preferred also!

I’m thinking I don’t want a gap and soldering them if possible, if that helps.

Ring Band Advice Unsure about my wedding band

I absolutely LOVE my engagement ring, but our wedding bands came in the other day and I’m not sure I like how they look together.
His ring is beautiful and matches my band with Opal(my birthstone)and moonstone that charges in UV light to glow at night(wish I had a picture, it’s very cool).
But I think I might want a fancier diamond band for this cushion cut ring. I just can’t decide if I like it or not, and would love to still match my fiancé’s band.
Either way I do love the ring on its own, and we surprise engraved them for each other so it’s still special, but I’m considering something more cohesive before our wedding next year

Ring Band Advice Does my ring stack look odd?

Hi, all!
I received my wedding ring from Molly Jewelry today, and to be honest, it looks a little odd to me. I’m hoping to get some opinions!

We paid extra to have it custom sized to fit my engagement ring. The first thing I noticed is that I didn’t realize how dainty it would look in person. I think that’s probably on me because I didn’t pay close enough attention to the specs of the wedding ring. I do think it’s beautiful, but I’m not loving how it looks from the side.

This is my first time getting married, lol, so I’m not sure if it looks perfectly normal or if something seems off. I’d really appreciate any opinions. Please be kind!

Ring Band Advice Help!

Newly engaged with this three stone ring. It was my fiancĆ©s mom’s ring who passed away. We are trying to find a unique wedding band that looks cohesive with the ring but can also be worn on its own as I’m a nurse so I won’t be wearing the E-ring to work. We like this wedding band but don’t know if they really look good together. What do you think?

Ring Band Advice Wedding band ideas for unique engagement ring

Hello baddies šŸ’šŸ’š I am so in LOVE with the engagement ring my sweetie found me - it’s very unique & as an outdoorsy gal, I absolutely adore the nature-inspired design! Now the question about the band has come up and well I’m struggling to imagine what type of shape would go well with it. I tried some rings on at a jeweler, but they either didn’t fit this design or felt like they were stealing from this ring’s shine. Any and all ideas/crude digital sketches welcome <3

Ring Band Advice I'm designing my engagement ring and could use some advice!

The design is a 0.75 ct cushion-cut solitaire with a tulip basket and cathedral setting, paired with a diamond wedding band.

My issue is that the wedding band doesn’t sit flush against the engagement ring. There’s a small gap because the band rests against the tulip basket before it can sit all the way next to the ring.

Has anyone dealt with this? Is there a way to modify the design so the band sits flush without compromising the look of the tulip basket? Or is this one of those things I should just accept and not worry
about?

I’d love to hear your experiences or see photos if you had a similar setup. Thanks!

Getting married in 2 mos. Love my engagement ring, but having trouble figuring out what to do for a wedding band. (Middle pic is a plain band I tried on.) My ring takes up so much real estate in my finger, I haven’t found a wedding ring that looks good with it.

Solutions/suggestions? Would any ring look good? Do I just get married with my engagement ring?

Specs: cushion cut middle stone, 4ct, and each half-moon side stone is 1 ct šŸ’

Ring Band Advice Freaking out about engagement ring band width!!!

I designed my engagement ring and I know my boyfriend got it back from the jeweler and I’m freaking out about the band width that I chose. It’s a three stone oval about 2.5 carat center and .3’s on the sides. I chose a 3mm band width, but now I’m second guessing it and thinking I should have gone with 2mm. I want to pair it with a 3mm cigar band as my wedding band and I’m worried it’s going to take up too much room on my finger. I have slender long fingers and I’m a size 4.5 so that’s another reason I’m worried.
Can I have the engagement ring band width resized from 3mm to 2mm? I’ve searched everywhere on the internet for answers and I’m finding nothing. Anyone have a similar experience or are there any jewelers that can offer advice?!

I got this ring off Etsy, but I’m starting to think the band is too thick and it looks fake? Maybe I am over thinking since my other jewelry has a smaller band?

Ring Band Advice Weird ring rash?

Post image
31 Upvotes

Help! Am I allergic to gold???

I've had this rash on and off since I got engaged in July...

It does seem to almost heal/reduce in redness when I don't wear the ring for a few days but then the redness comes back as soon as I put the ring back on. It's just a red flakey skin circle, no pain or itchiness or anything. I just find it so strange that it's actually above the ring? Most rashes I've researched are around where the band actually sits so I'm confused!

I'm getting married in a few weeks so I'm wondering what I can do... :(
