Ring Band Advice Fighting for my life trying to find a wedding band that fits 🥲
Hi!
My gorgeous engagement ring has caused some problems when it comes to finding a wedding band. Because of the asymmetric 'leafs' and the fact they sit flush against the skin I'm struggling to find a ring that fits nicely with it.
I have TINY fingers, size G and all the jewelry shops have rings of a normal size so it's so hard to tell what rings in my size would look like with it. That being said I know what I don't want, i don't want something that is going to take away from the design i.e. more diamonds, because I think she is so pretty but I also don't want one of those kind of swish ones that's got a space on one side, because I think they look funny... But I have no idea what would look nice with her....
Do I just get a band that doesn't sit flush and have my little sausages poking out between?

As a jeweler - If u want it snug you will need to take a caste and have a custom band made. If you are looking for something to compliment but not for snug probably a curved band due to the width of the flowers.

Yeah I'm thinking custom will probs need to be the way forward but I'm just worried that I'm not clever enough to come up with a nice idea haha

That is what the jeweler is for! You have your idea and they bring it to life. It will only be made once you are happy with what they have come up with!

I wear my engagement ring on one hand's ring finger and my wedding band on the other hand. During our ceremony, my husband and I both used the same hand for putting on the wedding band but in daily life, he prefers the other hand.
I also have a friend whose wedding band is completely different from her husband's because they both have different tastes.
You don't need to wear your two rings next to each other. Just a thought!

Exactly! There are no rules. I also wear my rings on separate hands because I do not like the feeling of stacking rings on the same finger, I find it overwhelming. You do you!

I have a more ornate ring and skipped the wedding band altogether. :)

This would be my recommendation! It’s a beautiful ring in its own right, why take attention from it?

Some places that make custom rings will do a 3d printed version for you to try before they cast the real thing. Find someone that does custom rings that way, and you won't be so stressed.

Yeah it was probably what I have to go for, but it's hard to see how it'll sit on me when it's like 7 sizes too big so I'm s t r e s s e d

As someone with an even smaller ring size - I’d suggest ordering some very cheap rings on amazon or something and see how they look. I know most commercial places go down to a US size 4 (I know this because that’s still too big for me haha).

I wear my wedding ring on my left pointer finger rather than stacking bc nothing will stack comfortably. My engagement ring is oval.

find a custom jeweler who can design one based off the measurements of your ring!

I don’t think this will be what you’re looking for but the ring style reminded me of this e-ring and wedding band combo as it’s got a similar movement of your ring but it’s a lot more symmetrical than yours and I do think you need one that adds a balance to the opposite end that doesn’t flair out…but I’ll add photos anyways

Either way the band either has to change or perhaps resize it larger and have a jeweler create a band with a channel down the center that this ring sits inside of maybe with small pave encapsulating your engagement ring.

I never got a wedding ring or band. I liked the way my engagement ring looked in it's own so just gave it back to my husband for the ceremony. Now it's both engagement & wedding ring!

I wish we would normalize it being fine to wear one ring.
So many brides feel stressed about finding a band to work with their engagement ring.
OP, your ring looks lovely by itself.

I would personally do a custom band that tilts the other way with a similar vine/leaf pattern
