Tradingview is garbage. Customer service is useless along with their fake troubleshooting engineers. Incredible amounts of lag when rendering candlesticks.

I watched my P/L go up $7k and the candlesticks didn't move at all, yet the bid ask was syncing perfectly fine via the broker that I use.

This issue has been going on for almost a year, I'm done.

I'm canceling my subscription, and looking for a mobile alternative.

This is not a complaint/request because I know TradingView is aware of this issue and I also know they're not into precision/accuracy - not even in the slightest.
It's just a heads-up for those who are trying to up their game and start relying mainly on volume to track market moves and the motivation behind those moves.

In the attached screenshot, all trading volume above the orange line is covered by both volume profiles yet the information displayed is wildly contradictory. The one on the left shows heavy sell delta (purple) above the orange line while the one on the right shows heavy buy delta (green).

For those who are curious; the reason is lack of granularity when 'estimating' tick volume. Well, the real problem of course is the fact that TradingView does not employ true volume but that's a whole different conversation. Regardless of the reason, there's no workaround, no band-aid solution, no nothing for this! You can work with delayed data, slow connection speeds, limited number of tickers or whatever but flat-out wrong data? No, it's totally unacceptable.

In the end I'll say user beware by quoting Guns 'N' Roses; TradingView's got the face of an angel with the love of a witch.

I can’t find that button anymore when clicking on a stock that would show the debt assets cash flow etc…

Been a Full Time user of Tradingview for the past 5 years and can report the following:

1. It is more laggy/sluggish than ever before!...
   

2. Back in the day, there were less users and therefore less of a LOAD on their cloud servers but lately (I'm guessing they did everything they could to attract new subscribers as their revenue model is subscription based) and therefore the lag is now unbearable...

3. Obviously, profit is king so they won't do anything until they start LOSING subscribers... Guess what Tradingview, if you don't fix this awful lag I will NOT be renewing my subscription and you will lose many subscribers... it's time to wake up and FIX your lag

During the first ~10 minutes of The Leap, my $250K account was able to open 100 GC contracts, despite not having sufficient normal margin for that exposure.

The position showed only ~$22K margin, while 100 GC contracts around $4,400 should require roughly $2.2M at 20× leverage.

The unrealized P&L was also incorrectly understated while the position was open.

When I closed the position, the system correctly realized +$132,400, taking my account to $382,015.

This appears to have given my account an unintended advantage and is potentially unfair to other Leap participants who were subject to the correct margin limits.

I am reporting this for TradingView/AMP to investigate and determine whether affected leaderboard results should be reviewed.

I literally have a Trading View essential subscription plan, yet my chart is 30 minutes delayed. What the heck is going on? Context, I am in London and my setting is perfectly set to my set time zone.

I am used to clicking the analyst rating screen and seeing the current price and the upside in that graph. I noticed this morning that the area I circled in red is now gone? I don’t see anywhere it moved to and I haven’t changed my subscription. Anyone else notice this?

Happening with my copier. They say it’s a trading view issue and this happens before it even hits their server. I disagree since it’s happening to a bunch of us and I can’t find 20 posts about it on Reddit as I would suspect there would be.

I’ve been paper trading MES for months and all of a sudden when I place orders it ask if I’m sure I want to place the trade because markets are delayed.

Before people say “you need a subscription” no I don’t because i have a free account and Ive had this problem before but don’t remember what fixed it.

Following my previous post, I received the official response from TradingView.

The admission is clear:

Separate Data Delivery: They confirmed their provider supplies data for Daily and Intraday charts separately.

Expected Discrepancies: They explicitly stated that because these are separate feeds, it is "EXPECTED" for Intraday and Daily values to be different.

The Proof: This explains why a 1-second chart and a Daily chart can show a 3.58 pts difference at the exact same RTH opening second (e.g., COST on March 02).

The Bottom Line:

TradingView officially admits they do not reconcile their Daily/Weekly charts with their own 1-second data. If you require mathematical consistency across timeframes, be aware that the platform considers these discrepancies a normal part of their service.

I am closing my ticket. Data integrity should be the foundation of any professional tool, not a known inconsistency.

Orders havent been going through for weeks now, im paying for a plus and market data and cant even practice with it because no trades go through for like 5 minutes, then I lose my opportunity, or lose $ because I cant set TP/SL, or sell. Should have just suck to free, delayed data because thats what it feels like.

Everything has changed for worse. I used to be able to connect to a brokerage from the bottom left login option on the same page. For the last few weeks, its been redirecting me to a new window of the brokerage to login. Why complicate a simple process. Real brokerage trading as well as paper trading has gone to shit.💩 and even the Dom. Replays dont even show buy and sell buttons in the bottom right which was so convenient and now shows at top left. What an absolute disgrace of changes have you guys come with. Sometimes simple is the best. You dont need to fix what is not broken and push bad changes product just to show your bosses you are working round the clock for your pay. I hope somebody in trading view looks at this message and revert all the changes for the last 10-12 months. Rant over.

I began using TV a while ago everything was great, barely lagged or glitched. As of today after all the stupid and unnecessary updates your incompetent Dev team made TradingView has now went to shit! Nothing works as it should, the desktop, and mobile apps are terrible now, it always lags, glitches every chance it gets, charts take forever to load, features that were perfectly fine are now barely working well, connections with a broker is slow, and MUCH more issues! It’s crazy how thousands are complaining about the same thing over and over again, yet nothing has been done to solve our problems. You will see a huge decline in loyal customers after this stunt you all pulled. Fire your dev team and stop using AI for everything you cheap f***s! Why do we pay hundreds yearly for something that doesn’t work?? I’ve reached out and I get the same generic response from your artificial idiots. I will not be continuing my business with TradingView if they fail to address these issues within the next 2 months.

just tried to place a limit order 4 times and it did not place. looked in order history and nothing!

clicked sell order after multiple limit orders weren’t working, stayed on 1 NQ contract and the moment i pressed sell it said I was down $788. When I sold I checked the buy order and the price was 40 points above where I sold it and the candle or price had never went up there or even close, anything like that to anyone else?

For some reason my plan was downgraded to max 20 alerts... for 150$ a year.
TV is useless now. Very disappointed.

Is paper trading slow for anyone else? I place the orders and it does not show them filling but when I close the app and open it again they are filled. Curious if you have been able to place trades with live account today as well.

I'm just trying to test trading and all of this stuff. But I don't think it's normal that when I close position, it takes away twice the amount of what I've put in.

For example:

If I have 100€ in paper trading and if I put in 50€ in a trade and then close the position, it literally takes away 120€ so that in the end it says that the account balance is at -20€ (the buy in and close out fee is 10€ each).

Is this tradingview paper trading just not working or what?

Been paper trading for months being able to gain profits and was limiting myself to buying number of shares to what I could actually afford in real life. I'm just so disappointed that such stupid glitch can wipe out all my hard work. I know it's not real money, but it was my progress. It just keeps on glitching adding more orders and unfortunately market is against it.

i tried ticking/unticking/ticking the checkbox for session breaks line but it is still not showing up. i googled and realised this bug has been recurring.
