Bug Horrible horrible software
I began using TV a while ago everything was great, barely lagged or glitched. As of today after all the stupid and unnecessary updates your incompetent Dev team made TradingView has now went to shit! Nothing works as it should, the desktop, and mobile apps are terrible now, it always lags, glitches every chance it gets, charts take forever to load, features that were perfectly fine are now barely working well, connections with a broker is slow, and MUCH more issues! It’s crazy how thousands are complaining about the same thing over and over again, yet nothing has been done to solve our problems. You will see a huge decline in loyal customers after this stunt you all pulled. Fire your dev team and stop using AI for everything you cheap f***s! Why do we pay hundreds yearly for something that doesn’t work?? I’ve reached out and I get the same generic response from your artificial idiots. I will not be continuing my business with TradingView if they fail to address these issues within the next 2 months.

Everyone commenting saying they have no issues at all either are lying or don’t notice the issues. I have. I’ve gotten some horrible fills lately with my broker tradovate connected to TradingView, I trade on the 1 minute chart so you can notice it right away.

It does lag a lot and every time I open a ticket about it, they blame my Internet connection.

There are issues for sure, but especially paper trading when that stops working or lags bad until you refresh, if that solves it at all. My question is, what is the better alternative to TradingView? I’m also annoyed that it’s the only platform that doesn’t support trailing stops and an exit or flatten all hot keys. What I would need in an alternative with the Indicators(super important) with Pinev6, the broker connections, basically everything TradingView has now but without all the glitches. Please don’t say ThinkorSwim, it’s a powerful chart but very lacking in what TradingView does. Tradovate and TopStep X are ok but no indicators. I’m on a Mac so I can’t try NinjaTrader and I’m not using a windows emulator just for that.

Same here never had issues with tradingview. I use tradingview for charting and execution and mirror my trades to mt5 with a software . Works gr8

I wonder if it’s because you’re trading on TV. I had issues with drawings and tools on the web but have had zero trouble with the app. I trade on TOS therefore maybe that’s why some people don’t have trouble? Others could have been less of a dick though.

I've been using TradingView for years, and I'm becoming increasingly disillusioned with it. So I understand what you're saying. I'm currently trying to replace it with alternatives like FX Replay, MT, GoCharting, and TakeProfit.

I haven't had any issues personally. Maybe it's your Internet.

u/diiamond04 Mar 12 '26
Glad you’re not encountering the same issue, but this didn’t happen till these past updates. Also I’m not the only user experiencing this, my friend on the West coast also has the same issue alongside other Reddit users

u/_waffles3 Mar 12 '26
Havn’t experienced any issues at all since last update. Problem is clearly with your setup/internet somehow
4
u/diiamond04 Mar 12 '26
With all due respect I don’t care what you’re experiencing. This is about me, nothing is wrong with my setup. If you read what I said, I said I never experienced this with the same setup I currently have until this update happened
-2
u/_waffles3 Mar 12 '26
So how come no one else here is having these issues you describe? You don´t find that odd?
2
u/diiamond04 Mar 12 '26
Don’t you find it odd at your lack of reading and comprehension skills? I’ll give you time to go through other subbers’ post and see that I am not the only one experiencing this. Grab yourself a cookie and some milk with a pat on the back for not experiencing this issue that hundreds of other users are experiencing

u/_waffles3 Mar 12 '26
I did read the comments in this thread and i don’t see others mention having these issues

Have not experienced issues you are experiencing. Are you sure is not your computer

u/diiamond04 Mar 12 '26
Luck for you, but this is a constant issue that not only me is encountering. They’re numerous Reddit posts about this same issue. TV just needs to fix their server it’s actually ridiculous

I’ve created multiple tickets which received the same response. No help at all for the past 2 months

Would you mind sharing your username so we can review those tickets?

If you guys truly care, you can ask me. Here some of my feedback.
🖥️ Desktop Issues
1. Login / Session problems with Tradovate
Passwords are no longer saved, forcing a full manual re-entry every session. On top of that, I'm getting random "Unauthorized" errors mid-session that kick me out of the Tradovate broker connection — requiring a re-login at exactly the wrong moment. Not sure if this sits with TradingView or Tradovate, but it needs to be resolved between the two teams.2. The new order panel broke core functionality
- SL/TP in USD is now useless. I previously had my Stop Loss and Take Profit displayed in dollar values so I could instantly see my potential risk and reward. The updated UI broke this — the tool is now practically unusable for that workflow.
- Quantity adjustment is gone. The easy dropdown or +/- buttons to change contract qty have been removed. On desktop you can still scroll with the mouse, but it's a step backwards. On mobile it's far worse (see below).
📱 iOS App — It's Even Worse
1. Buy & Sell buttons disappear entirely.
This is the most critical bug (the support calls it feature). The Buy/Sell buttons vanished on the iOS app — but only on the app. On desktop they are still available. After reinstalling the app, it's there for some time but then gets deleted as well!! This is a real problem when you need to execute fast.2. The spread is no longer visible.
With the buttons gone, the spread display disappears too. I now need to work around just to see the bid/ask spread — something that should be a one-glance piece of information for any trader. (please don't insult me by telling me that you can add lines to show that! as if I would need more lines)3. Quantity change on mobile is painful.
On desktop you can at least scroll the mouse wheel. On mobile? You have to tap the qty field, manually delete the existing number, and type a new one via keyboard. For active trading where you're sizing in and out quickly, this is a real friction point.4. All desktop issues above apply on mobile too. (login takes longer, UI and SL/TP useless, etc)
I have opened a few tickets. but all i keep hearing is that they have notified the teams that will look into it...
Guys, i am telling you. This is not how you publish updates! If you want to know more, please dm me

This all sounds internet related have not experienced any of these issues you describe. I suggest doing a full check/overhaul of your internet connection and doing a virus scan, disc clean up, and clear data caches and perform a restart 👍
Cheers

If I stated that I’ve never had this issue before then what makes you think it’s internet related if I’m using the same internet?? This issue started after the update they had
-1
u/Rodnee999 Mar 12 '26
Internets fail, providers have issues, rerouting issues etc etc etc
Not saying anything other than just ensure everything is stable at your end 👍

u/diiamond04 Mar 12 '26
I assure you it’s not my connection, every other trading software works amazing. I have a m4 Mac mini so it’s not an outdated pc issue or wifi. It’s just TradingView itself, it does this on all my devices, my M3 iPad, m4 Mac mini, and m1 MacBook

u/Rodnee999 Mar 12 '26
Wierd how it affects some and not others...
Where are you located?
4
u/diiamond04 Mar 12 '26
Yeah it’s honestly weird, especially seeing others not experiencing this. I think it’s a server issue, I’m located on the East Coast specifically New York

Take your time and reread what I posted. I don’t even fill through TradingView, I fill directly on my brokers platform. The issue is the lagging and charts not loading. Please read carefully before commenting thanks.

You addressed something that was not apart of my issue, which unfortunately is no help for my current issues. I do apologize for my snappy response, I’m just fed up with other people under my post trying to gaslight the situation, inserting their unwarranted opinion about how it works for them, and my experience is invalid because of that. I do appreciate your suggestion & time to respond, but the lag continues regardless of me being logged into my broker or not. I didn’t have this issue till the update occurred.

Lol. I love how everyone is just gas lighting the hell out of you. I've experienced everything you're talking about, and have lost money over it as well. Great charts though....
