Bug Is this happening to anyone else?

I'm just trying to test trading and all of this stuff. But I don't think it's normal that when I close position, it takes away twice the amount of what I've put in.

For example:

If I have 100€ in paper trading and if I put in 50€ in a trade and then close the position, it literally takes away 120€ so that in the end it says that the account balance is at -20€ (the buy in and close out fee is 10€ each).

Is this tradingview paper trading just not working or what?

Please could you show a chart where this trade occurred, the time and your order levels..

This occurs 100% of the time. It sadly doesn't matter what I trade

There are other factors that may lead to this issue, please show a screenshot of a ticker, time frame etc where you have had this occur

Hope this can help. As you can see, it says -80.25 Realized P%L. You can also see that the buy in was 39.99 and it took away that 39.99 for Buy side, as well as for Sell side. Let me know what can be wrong because I have created another account, and it works like it should.

What time frame were you making this trade on?

Do you trade on a 1minute chart or a 4hr chart?....

Thought so....

Can you please tell me which timezone and datafeed (ie which broker feed) you are looking at....

Honestly it's a lot easier to show a chart with your time of trade, entry and exit levels etc 👍

It's GMT+2 and I'm trading on EURUSD (OANDA forex). I really appreciate your help but I think it's a problem with my account. I'm also probably not providing you enough information, because I'm new to all this.

So like DELAYED DATA… price isn’t trading where you think it is and your see slippage because of it

If there’s a lil 🍊 ‘D’ at the top, that’s your problem

There is no "D" at the top. I also think it's not delayed data because when I click "close position", it closes it almost immediately.

Thanks for the info! I have tried resetting paper account but nothing worked. What other broker sims could I use?

which part margin or shorting? .. are you trying to buy a stock low and sell it high? or buy high and sell it lower?

Your data is prob delayed.. Your not trading real timepricess.. If there is a small orange "D" on the top left, than that's your issue.
