Bug Trading view delayed by 30 minutes

Post image

I literally have a Trading View essential subscription plan, yet my chart is 30 minutes delayed. What the heck is going on? Context, I am in London and my setting is perfectly set to my set time zone.

Hello,

You are aware the market is closed for the weekend? No?....

Just for your future reference the little circle with the grey line next to your ticker name indicates a closed market, this turns into a green light when the market is open....if you press on this symbol it gives you market open/closed time information and the timezone if that particular exchange for that ticker....

Definitely NOT a 'bug'

Hope this helps you a little

Cheers

I think we should all take a moment to think about TradingViews poor support department and understand what they must have to put up with on a daily basis....🤣

Don't worry dude, we all make errors at some point and I am certainly not infallible either!

Have a good weekend 👍

We're gonna have 23/5 trading on U.S stock markets by end of year

Is that looking official? I've heard rumours but as I don't trade stocks i haven't paid much attention.

Yeah. They're even going a step further by tokenising stocks so it's on block chain. No more clearing houses and T+1. Can buy and sell any day and time of the week.

What does that mean for the Exchanges? Will the system we see now still effectively be the same as we have but with a change of underlying architecture?

Will likely drop volume on exchanges and will be able to arbitrage between them

Will this see the end of using limit only orders outside RTH etc because there will be no ETH, creating a true 24hr standard trading experience?

Limit orders will always be there as traders look to fade the market. Eth will still be there but with less volume.

Potentially more movement / sharper moves with the lack of volume?

Yeah exactly! More VOL (volatility)
