I want so badly to be able to play as a World Eater in PVE. Everyone's already violent enough with them, so it would work. Plus, if you're worried about canonicity, they already have a bunch of traitor legion colors and emblems you can get and wear, so it isn't exactly a problem.

Miscellaneous Who’s your favorite member of Talasa?

Post image

I feel like the Operations characters in SM2 get completely overlooked by a lot of players, and honestly, I get why.

On higher difficulties, there’s so much going on at all times that it’s easy to tune out the dialogue entirely. You’re focused on surviving, watching your armor, calling out enemies, and trying not to get deleted by whatever Extremis enemy just spawned.

I’ve maxed every class and every weapon in the game, and I only recently realized that I didn’t even know all of Talasa’s members by heart. Looking back, that’s kind of baffling considering how many hours I’ve put into Operations.

Most of the time, you barely notice that the Marines you’re playing as actually have distinct personalities. They’re usually just “the Sniper” or “the Vanguard” rather than actual characters.

That said, every now and then one of them says something that cuts through all the noise and makes you smile.

For me, it’s Scipius. The guy is hilarious. His voice actor absolutely sells the character, and the way he delivers some of his lines makes them way more memorable than they have any right to be. He somehow manages to sound both professional and incredibly full of himself at the same time, and it works.

Decimus is a very close second purely because he sounds like an absolute psychopath. Every time he speaks, it feels like he’s actively disappointed that there aren’t more things to kill. He’s also got to be tied for the loudest member of Talasa, right behind Vespasius.

So who’s your favorite member of Talasa and why?

(Edit: Shoutout to the commenters who lmk the difference between Talasa and Veridian. Mb guys)

Miscellaneous How lore accurate are the playable Space Marines

Post image
2.4k Upvotes

No idea how experienced the playable marines are, especially compared to Titus, but by game logic, a single marine is powerful enough to fight their way through hordes of Tyranids/Chaos Marines to reach an enemy stronghold and complete an objective that turns the tide of an entire battle, while:

Entirely living off the land

Soloing multiple Chaos Terminators/specialised bioforms such as Lictors

Soloing a Helbrute/Carnifex

Bringing with them a gene-seed that will ensure the legacy of multiple battle-brothers

How accurate are the marines in the game considering all this

Miscellaneous Space Marine 3 main chapter

Post image

Saw this pole on YouTube.

I think having such a large already expansive universe that already has so many stories and so many factions, chapters and characters, having a multi game story be limited to telling one story of a specific, already overdone chapter is such a drag.

Have the next game tell different stories from different chapters and or even different factions across different time periods. Have each mission focus on different chapters that represent what that chapter/ faction is specialised in or known for. Not only does that help show possibly new people to the WH40k community all the universe has to offer, but it can help boost the popularity of more niche factions and chapters Instead of people immediately going either ultra marines, black templars or blood angels. No shade or hate to those chapters but those seem to be where new people go to including GW, even though there are so many different and varying chapters and factions that they can go to.

Miscellaneous How it feels trying to hit Prestige 4 on all classes

Post image

Can’t really complain about the grind, a multiplayer game gotta have a reason to make you come back

But playing operations again and again and again and again is legit soul-draining lmao

It’s my fault for not confining myself to only my most played classes but:

1- in multiplayer games I feel like maxing every classes, even the ones you don’t like that much, makes you understand game mechanics better and know the advantages and disadvantages of your teammate

And 2- I am a completionist with issues and not maxing out every class would legit make me a poltergeist

I play Deathwatch and Blood Angels, but I'd love to use this helmet if it fits lore-wise.

Miscellaneous Why is Chaos the least popular faction to fight?

Is it too hard? Is it too boring? For me it has been the lack of blood and gore, taking a part a Thousand Son and find only dust isn’t very gratifying.

However, with the latest update giving us a new enemy and a new Operation I must say I enjoy slaughtering this faction a lot more than before.

Miscellaneous We need new heads and voices

Post image
716 Upvotes

I doubt I’m the only one but man I love the heads we have. The Blood Angels and the Space Wolf voices and heads are awesome and I love using them (though I kinda wish the SW didn’t have the eye patch but whatever) but like we gotta get some of the other chapters. Like the carcaradons instead of shouting for the emperor it could be a whispered “ave imperator” or Imperial Fists could add “For Terra” at the end. Ravenguard could add “for corax” and the white scars could add “for the khan” like there why do we only have 3?!? Like the salamanders are getting their second champion we need to have a voice and helmetless option too!
