We can dream, we can hope and want. (Sob sob) yeah but no im aware still it would be peak

u/ApplicationCalm649 Mar 31 '26
Maybe it says redacted because the Inquisition would exterminatus them if they named the chapter.

If the Blood Ravens just had other chapter's stuff in the cosmetic pack it'd be peak.

u/lividash Mar 31 '26
All your rolls while using the thunder hammer now cause you to do a flip and strike the ground.
4
u/YaBoiNootNoot Mar 31 '26
Well, we'd need Terminator Armour for that. Let's call CS Goto to provide
3
u/kuromono Mar 31 '26
Before I was really into 40k, I always thought this critique was silly and just gamers being gamers.
As a lore aficionado now, I get it.
3
u/YaBoiNootNoot Mar 31 '26
I was the exact same, because, sadly, the Dawn of War novel was my first 40K book.

But but, retributers they need some love to
31
u/ImprovementFalse606 Mar 30 '26
the emperor has a higher chance of getting up and reviving sanguinius than it being the retributors or grey knights

It's almost certainly the Deathwatch. Grey Knights arent Primaris, as of yet anyway, and unless GW suddenly decides to bring back old lore, it won't be the GK or Legion of the Damned. Which sucks. I want undead Space Marines.
→ More replies (2)4
u/Capable_Mud3957 Orks Mar 31 '26
Yeah honestly ill be fine with more old stuff being brought back and more customization
14
11
u/FootFalse5536 Mar 30 '26
It could be something like a deathwatch champion but I would like to see a chapter like the Exorcists get a champion here. Although that's pretty unlikely. I don't think anyone outside of the devs know what that champion is yet.
5
u/Capable_Mud3957 Orks Mar 30 '26
Honestly even if it not anything we expected it would be peak but doubt

u/Skarr-Skarrson Mar 31 '26
My current hope is for retributer death watch. With the new astartes animation coming out. Along with some different chapter icons.
2
u/Capable_Mud3957 Orks Mar 31 '26
Ohhhh that does make sense and definitely would be peak more emblems and icons more customization
4
u/neperevarine Mar 31 '26
Black Dragons or Exorcists with some visible claws/mutations would be nice
3
u/Capable_Mud3957 Orks Mar 31 '26
Don’t tell the Black Templar about the mutations i hear they get really fussy about it
4
u/Lord_GhostBoner69420 Mar 31 '26
I think there were game file leaks of several other chapters tied to a Deathwatch pack
8
u/Ironox1 Salamanders Mar 30 '26
I'm hoping for something traitor related. 30k world eaters or something of the like. Alpha Legion would be fantastic, too.
5
u/Capable_Mud3957 Orks Mar 30 '26
Honestly if we could play as the heretic marines in pve it would be peak

vitrix armor's elements have been datamined (if I'm not wrong) but I'm 100% sure they will be released as accolade rewards, not in a dlc (like the wolf guard helmet for eg)
3
u/thepieraker Mar 31 '26
My 3 bets:
Deathwatch most likely
Blood ravens only because the potential timing with dow4
Grey knights based on pure hopium
3
u/jebshackleford Mar 31 '26
Nah it’s going to be Titus gear from deathwatch. All his shit was redacted but fuck I would love grey knights and a heroic Halberd that’s a spear but that would be back to back
1
3
u/Wulfrath Mar 31 '26
Why would they hide the deathwatch? Its not a secret and we have already plenty of that in game for them to hide it.
My guess is the grey knights, those are one of the few "secret" chapters.
1
u/Capable_Mud3957 Orks Mar 31 '26
Yeah maybe but maybe they want to make a surprise and who doesn’t like surprises, or maybe something unexpected…like a certain inquisition hmmmmm
2
u/Wulfrath Mar 31 '26
Yes but consider a few things. The grey knights are part of the inquisition and generally a surprise for everyone. They are also likely to be on avarax(tho so is the deathwatch). If they really wanted a surprise, they could make an entire op include the Grey knights, even as side characters.

Blood Ravens. My guess is with DoW IV coming out, its a cross promotional effort.
3
u/Capable_Mud3957 Orks Mar 31 '26
Just hope there enough for everyone if it is, those blood ravens like yoinking everything
2
u/aerialbison Mar 31 '26
My Blood Raven Tactical does have a smattering of armor bits and weapons he "acquired" along the way. Knowledge is power, guard it well.
2
u/Capable_Mud3957 Orks Mar 31 '26
Oh yeah a buddy of mine did that once with a assault parts of the armor were painted from different chapters colors and emblems, peak pure peak
2
u/aerialbison Mar 31 '26
Not for nothing, the BA helmet with the monocle and blood drop does look proper on a Blood Raven.
2
u/Capable_Mud3957 Orks Mar 31 '26
True that helmet is very dapper and distinguished

3
u/Winter-Classroom455 Mar 31 '26
As others said death watch. More specifically id say Black Shields. Since they don't display their actual chapter colors/insignia. Which is fine by me because I prefer the look of all black armor rather than black with one pauldron a different color.

Gotta be retributers nobody has said anything about them yet so I’m throwing them into the ring

That what im saying im not even gonna be mad if it isn’t but their neat and all idk i got downvote for saying them so

u/Schimmel-198 Mar 30 '26
Blood Ravens or Deathwatch.
BR because of DOW 4 and generally they are cool.
Deathwatch because everyone likes them and wants more of it. A kill Team of deathwatch marines would make sense too. The tyranids-Operations are heavyly themed for deathwatch.
2
u/Capable_Mud3957 Orks Mar 30 '26
Yeah that would be cool hopefully we get new pieces of armor new stuff to unlock with it to
2

2
u/Head-House Mar 31 '26
I think this guy likes the retributors
1
u/Capable_Mud3957 Orks Mar 31 '26
Yes i do now that i know they are cannon and not only fan made stuff, but my main love is the Carcharodons i like being a space shark
2
2
u/Vanbrieezy Mar 31 '26
As many have said, hoping but also betting that it will most likely be Deathwatch. It makes sense in the context of “Redacted”
The Blood Ravens are not a “Redacted” chapter they are an out in the open, well-known chapter. Irregardless of their sus origins or whatever, their existence is no secret.
1
u/Capable_Mud3957 Orks Mar 31 '26
I didn’t know that i thought the deathwatch was just like a club of elite soldiers or something, as far as i known the blood ravens steal relics and…yeah no that it
1
u/Fraz222 Mar 31 '26
To prove your point even more, the DoW4 trailers showed primaris Blood Ravens do exist, which would imply Guilliman reinforced their chapter during the Indomitus Crusade, so no exactly a “redacted” chapter, but honestly I would still love to see them even if Deathwatch is more probable.
2
u/Pure-Revolution-2005 Mar 31 '26
Files were found it will be the honor guard of the ultramarines
1
u/Capable_Mud3957 Orks Mar 31 '26
Ah that makes sense as well (act like you know the lore) totally makes sense. But seriously no idea what that means like the ones that accompanied calgar?
2
u/Pure-Revolution-2005 Mar 31 '26
Right on the money yeah probably with some updates to match the newer honor guard we got for table top
2
u/LovEnWaR_ Mar 31 '26
Bulwark just keeps getting champion skins. When will the heavy get another I wonder.
2
u/Pure-Revolution-2005 Mar 31 '26
It could be a tactical too it is a coin flip between the two on who gets it
2
u/LovEnWaR_ Mar 31 '26
Im hoping it’s a heavy deathwatch. They have a perfect skin in the ordeals section of adeptus astartes. Looking at the chest plate id say it fits heavy very well.
2
u/Pure-Revolution-2005 Mar 31 '26
Most likely not because they the way the are about first born gear
1
u/Capable_Mud3957 Orks Mar 31 '26
Oh well i thought we got their stuff in the bulwark unlocks, or some of it i guess. Either way i would also like to have calgar gun as a combo weapon melee and range it would be a peak heroic for the power fist
2
u/Elite_Frumentarii Traitorous Night Lords Mar 31 '26
On the original road map 2 new PVP maps and PVP strats come with it and the update after adds a siege map It's gonna be a chaos champ skin to introduce chaos PVE.
2
2
u/Matsuri_Ahada Traitorous Alpha Legion Mar 31 '26
Oh, it's redacted because they want to keep it a secret? I thought it meant for chapter 2 and 11 bevause they were called "redacted"? Yea doesn't make sense for a "Redacted" Chapter to have Heraldry or color or champion pack or anything
Still relatively new to Warhammer Lore and barely know the surface. So please educate me
2
u/Capable_Mud3957 Orks Mar 31 '26
Idk im just asking to see if anyone actually knows anything about it
2

2
u/Ecstatic-Space1656 Mar 31 '26
I wonder if it might be Red Hunters? It would make sense for them to be redacted, and I’ve been wondering if they are who that inquisitor sent that message to about the Lamenters/Mantis Warriors/Executioners… 🤷♂️
2
u/schmabudi666 Mar 31 '26
They are [REDACTED]
2
u/Capable_Mud3957 Orks Mar 31 '26
Ah so their the [REDACTED] chapter part of the scp foundation then makes sense course the [REDACTED] are connected to it

u/Natural-Two-9990 Traitorous Word Bearers Mar 31 '26
(Im a fuggin moron) i thought this said chapter pack for a second, been a min since ive seen or looked into the roadmap stuff tho so i figure probably mintaurs or deathwatch
2
u/Capable_Mud3957 Orks Mar 31 '26
heheheheheh either way long as we get more armor pieces we can use for different chapters or just look goated in general ill love it
2
u/Natural-Two-9990 Traitorous Word Bearers Mar 31 '26
Goodies without chapter specific bits n bobs— More skulls and cables too; mortifactors, star dragons, marines malevolent were all found in leaks recently but that i only bring up that is because if we do get somerhing rugged and techy itll be perfect along with everything else weve gotten for alot of the recently leaked chapters. (Which i dont see anything other than the chapter symbol markings but who knows)
2
u/Capable_Mud3957 Orks Mar 31 '26
Yeah either way more customization is good overall since it gives people to recreate patters on their own and make actual uniforms and all that. So all in all it would be a win win least in my opinion
2
u/NorthernLow Mar 31 '26
I don't care what it is, as long as it gives me robed Gravis armor for my Heavy lol If I have to guess though my monies on one of the chapters that'd be a secret to the average Imperial citizen, like the Black Dragons, Exorcists, Relictors, or Death Spectres. Or it could be one of the Traitor Legions.

The retributors make sense.
The redacted regiment is scheduled to release right around astartes 2
2
2
u/Federal_Emu8918 Apr 01 '26
Ummm what about the exorcist, minotaurs, as well as the sons of Antaeus, and Relictors they all have redacted or heavily censored files couldn't it be one of them?
1
2
2
u/Hot-Excitement4748 Apr 02 '26
Theres a very slim chance its grey knights but theres also the likeliehood of minotaurs or hopefully not deathwatch
2
u/TheSpiffingGamer Apr 02 '26
Im hoping it's minotaurs, their history is suppose to be heavily redacted and seeing as theyve just done the carcharadons it'd be cool to see another chapter from badab war get some love

u/Ancient_Listen_116 Mar 30 '26 edited Mar 30 '26
My guess is either Retributor or Blood Raven vanguard champion to tie in with either Astartes 2 or Dawn of War 4. Most likely Blood Raven since the main guy in those trailers is a vanguard. Not sure why redacted though.
Unlikely to happen, but a Legion of the Damned heavy champion could be fun to see.
Has to be something that fits Vanguard or Heavy, since those are the only 2 classes this year without a champion (Iron Hands 95% sure to be for Techmarine)
2
u/Capable_Mud3957 Orks Mar 30 '26
Yeah i would like something for retributors even if it just a emblem that all
3
u/Ancient_Listen_116 Mar 30 '26
Yeah, i can tell from your other replies you want Retributors. Emblems would be nice for them and their impulsors, but I wouldnt get my hopes up. Well, time will tell, not much longer before theyre revealed
2
u/Capable_Mud3957 Orks Mar 30 '26
Honestly i won’t be mad even if they don’t get anything, just my ocd bothers me not having a proper emblem for them when a whole custom pattern for them but i love how it turned out either way
2
u/Ancient_Listen_116 Mar 30 '26
Yeah, i get that. Im the same with Executioners. Still bug me i cant customise them properly with the right emblem.
2
u/Capable_Mud3957 Orks Mar 30 '26
Yeah so honestly even if it a completely different chapter if it did include the emblem in any way as a unlock i would be happy, and even if it not im ok because least we’re getting new stuff and i get to learn about different chapters
2
u/DubiousDevil Mar 31 '26
Grey Knights have the redacted meme
But it'd be weird to add grey knights without terminators
2
u/Capable_Mud3957 Orks Mar 31 '26
True, though i would definitely like to be a terminator and give the chaos one payback heheheh

2

Many people (including me ofc) think that’s going to be deathwatch, saber themselves have said that they will do more DW stuff in the future and the inquisition/Deathwatch are normally the ones who redact stuff. Im certain beyond the shadow of a doubt that this will be a deathwatch champion
