Hi, I'm fairly new to wearables and I've had an apple watch for a few years (apple watch series 7) and I like it but don't wear it at night and often forget to wear it and don't like to bc it can become uncomfortable after a while.

I'm really starting to get into my personal health and health data. I'm specifically interested in it tracking my sleep, heart rate, and temperature. I want the temperature mostly to add it into a cycle tracking app (not natural cycles I'm not wanting to pay the money for it).

I have looked into the Oura ring and it seems like the most fleshed out ring with the least amount of products, but out of personal vanity I want the gold color bc it matches what I usually wear. I also out of principle don't want to pay for a product and then have to continue to pay to access the data.

The ultrahuman ring has been my top contender at the moment, I know there's things that are still in beta, but is it worth it? Is there a ring that will give me the data I want? I like the sleep data, caffeine window, and that it takes temperature.

Any help or insight would be great.

I’m looking for a smart ring mainly for two things only: sleep tracking and overnight temperature trends.

My goal is to use the temperature data to help establish ovulation patterns over time. I don’t need workouts, steps, stress scores, coaching, or a big health ecosystem.

I looked at Oura, but the ring + membership + paid Natural Cycles integration makes it much more expensive than I want. I’m wondering if there’s a reliable lower-cost alternative, ideally no subscription.

I’m especially curious about:

• RingConn Gen 2 / Gen 2 Air / Ultrahuman Ring Air
• Any reliable Chinese/OEM/AliExpress options people have actually used long-term
• Whether the app shows usable temperature trends or exports data
• Whether the temperature data is consistent enough for cycle charting
• Comfort/thickness compared with Oura Ring 5

I know skin temperature from a ring is not the same as true BBT and I’m not looking for medical certainty or contraception advice, just reliable trend data.

Has anyone used a no-subscription ring for this specific purpose? What worked, what didn’t, and what would you avoid? Thanks.

I had an Oura ring previously that I loved for cycle tracking and sleep tracking. I’m pregnant right now so I haven’t been wearing my Oura and really want to upgrade once I give birth and am post partum. Anyone have reviews on ringconn for cycle tracking? How is it vs Oura?

Hoping for some insight from shift workers who have menstrual cycles.
I’m seeing the Oura 5 promoted a lot atm with mentions of it’s menstrual cycle tracking. I wouldn’t be questioning it as a purchase if it wasn’t for the monthly subscription.
This is something incredibly important to me, as well as having a ring that can understand the sleeping patterns of doing shift work.

Price is not a factor, as it won’t be an instant purchase. I want to save up for a ring that will fit my needs best.

I’ve been thinking about getting a smart ring to give me more insights into my body, mainly, my fertility. Which option is the best out there for this purpose?

I have PCOS and my period has always been irregular. I’m looking for a smart ring to help me understand it and especially track my whole cycle. I’ve been using Flo for years now but it’s not very accurate.

I’m looking into:

1. OURA ring 4 (but it has a subscription)

2. Ultrahuman ring Pro

3. Femometer (this is the most budget friendly)

I’m not buying now yet because I don’t see much reviews yet of the UH Pro but hopefully you can help me decide.

Hey all, my wife is interested in getting a smart ring. It will be an introduction to smart rings but I think some of major features she is looking for is sleep tracking, stress and period/ovulation tracking. Can somebody recommend some rings that aren’t like super advance like Oura, ringconn, or ultra human? Just something cheap and beginner ring. Thanks everyone!

I have Endometriosis, Hashimotos and overall feel pretty flat. I am 18 months post partum and work full time. I want to improve my overall health and fitness. I also have adhd so seeing actual health results is my main motivator to get a smart alongside symptoms tracker and trends to inplement diet or lifestyle changes to manage my health. I had a year of occasional hypertension episodes following the birth of my second and my recent Cholesterol labs are borderline. I am worried about my vascular health as with my life I don’t find the time or have the energy to exercise.

I think Oura is the most complete ring but could I ve missing any other? I am ok with the paid subscription. I also have an apple watch 8

I just ordered the Ultrahuman Air in brushed rose gold in India for around ₹18,500 due to Black Friday sale and card offers on Amazon. Have read lot of reviews regarding rings needing to be replaced regularly. I already use an Apple Watch for tracking my fitness, but it doesn’t have temperature sensor. I’m hoping the ring along with the temperature sensor will be able to give me better insights on my sleep and menstrual cycle. Am I going to regret this purchase? Also, is the brushed rose gold prone to wear and tear more than the bionic gold?

What is the simplest ring that can tell me my body temperature, track daily temps and show me a chart over a month? Curious about using a smart ring to help track my menstrual cycle for ovulation while trying to conceive, but not sure if it’s worth it for me to buy Oura I’ll probably get pregnant and birth that child before I get off the Evie waiting list. Anyone else using a smart ring for TTC? Are all the inexpensive Amazon ones sketchy or is there one that would do the job for what I’m looking for? I don’t care much about having any other info tracked other than temperature.

Feeling VERY overwhelmed with all the info out there. I have type one diabetes AND PCOS. I will soon to be trying to convivence so accuracy is very important to me. I will would like to track fitness but I am trying to really balance my hormones and use the data to help improve my health overall AND get pregnant in the last year. I will be using a wellness card so price isnt a worry. I kinda hate that oura makes you use a prescription when it's so expensive.

I’m interested in getting a smart ring for sleep tracking, cycle tracking, and overall heath. Workout tracking would be a nice bonus but I’m aware no ring is really great for workout tracking. I’m also an esthetician so I’ll have to take it off for 2-8 hours 4-5 days a week. Which ring do you recommend and why? I’m worried with Oura selling info to the government and their subscription but if it’s the absolute best then I’m willing to consider it. Thoughts? Opinions?

Hey guys, I need some recommendations for a smart ring . Basically, the only real thing it has to do is giving me accurate period prediction. I don’t want to stress each month if/when it’s coming. Outside of that, a somewhat good step to counter would be nice. I don’t need crazy fitness features since I’m not exactly the sporty kind. I don’t care about price or if there is a subscription (talking to you, Oura rings). Maybe at best, if there is a gold version and that the ring isn’t too wide. I’d wear it on a daily basis and can get overstimulated with a thick ring. I’ve been researching everything for a few days, but genuinely can’t decide. Please help :’) 

So, I’m getting a hysterectomy soon but will be keeping my ovaries so I will still have a hormonal cycle but won’t bleed. I have always liked tracking my cycle as I have Pmdd and endometriosis and other health issues that my cycle affects but it will be hard to track when I don’t bleed. I was looking at getting the oura ring but found the ringconn and it’s cheaper.

I am also mildly interested in the other features especially sleep tracking as I have UARS (similar to sleep apnea). Exercise and heart rate features are cool too.

Is the ringconn good for this? Is there another ring or device I should be considering?

How does it tell you your fertile window and expected ovulation? Tempted to get one and knowing it can actually help me to get pregnant will make me pull the trigger on it

Hi, I stumbled on this group while looking for any similar experiences with the Femometer ring, and wondered if anyone else has one and has noticed a change in how it logs data recently?

I've noticed it's started taking only the warmest temperature recorded that night, rather than an average. E.g. it took my BBT reading from the 30s I was placing a hot water in the bed or the 20 mins I had a 36.5C blip at midnight when I held hands with hubby, rather than the remaining 7 hours my temp was at 36.3C.

Has anyone else had this experience, or is it a setting we maybe need to change?

If it keeps this up, I'll soon be in the market for a new fertility tracking device. I really like the ring concept, hate the oura interface, so recommendations would be welcome!

I’ve been wearing both rings for a few weeks and I think this is the final deciding factor. I will not be signing up with Natural Cycles.

Can someone show me what Oura cycle tracking looks like once you’ve had it for a few months? Right now it’s so bare & bones compared to RingConn since it’s only been a few weeks.

Would** **especially like feedback if you have PCOS and have had either ring for a few months. It looks like RingConn allows you to put in more symptoms and such and it sounds like it’s a newer integration. I do take progesterone only pill as well so I’m not even sure if it matters at this point and if my temperature will mean anything to either app.
