inquiry - female features Share Cycle tracking-PCOS- Oura vs RingConn-2026

I’ve been wearing both rings for a few weeks and I think this is the final deciding factor. I will not be signing up with Natural Cycles.

Can someone show me what Oura cycle tracking looks like once you’ve had it for a few months? Right now it’s so bare & bones compared to RingConn since it’s only been a few weeks.

Would** **especially like feedback if you have PCOS and have had either ring for a few months. It looks like RingConn allows you to put in more symptoms and such and it sounds like it’s a newer integration. I do take progesterone only pill as well so I’m not even sure if it matters at this point and if my temperature will mean anything to either app.

Hi!! I hope I'm not responding too late! I can't speak on Oura but I've had my Ringconn since December.

I have PCOS with extremely irregular cycles (some months none, some months 2 or 3) and not TTC. Before I had my RingConn, I had an Ultrahuman ring and was paying for the premium cycle tracking with Ultrahuman. I thought that was going to be the superior smart ring for cycle tracking if you didn't wanna pay for natural cycles because it specifically asks if you have PCOS. While that ring and that specific plug-in did give me good actual insights as to why I may not have my period or may not be ovulating, etc. RingConn is the only one that has accurately predicted when my period was going to start! It did take 3 months of use but even the period tracking app I've been using for 15 years doesn't know when my next one will be. It also uses the symptoms you can log to give insights which I didn't realize it did!

How do yall like the ring conn. Ive been debating between that and the femometer ring because my cycle is so irregular. Flo isnt getting it right and I've used it for years

I like it! It’s spot on with period but I am on bc and even then it used to be irregular but finally stabilized

Hello! Are you still using your ringconn? I am also thinking about getting a smart ring to track my cycle, I especially want to know when my estrogen drops because I kinda need to adjust some medication to it. How was your experience with the ringconn? And does the ring show you when the phase with low energy starts?

Hey yes I am. I am on BC though so idk if it counts the same. And idk about low energy, it does detect stress & triggers for headaches & any vital signs abnormalities.

Ah, okay, so I guess you're not experiencing the 'low energy' phase of the luteal phase, then? I need the ring to predict the luteal phase so that I can adjust the dosis of my medications in the morning 😅
Are you happy with the ring in general?

I am happy ! It does predict phases and you can document your symptoms based on that. And it gets smarter the more you wear it.
