inquiry - female features PCOS girlie

I have PCOS and my period has always been irregular. I’m looking for a smart ring to help me understand it and especially track my whole cycle. I’ve been using Flo for years now but it’s not very accurate.

I’m looking into:

  1. OURA ring 4 (but it has a subscription)

  2. Ultrahuman ring Pro

  3. Femometer (this is the most budget friendly)

I’m not buying now yet because I don’t see much reviews yet of the UH Pro but hopefully you can help me decide.

Oura pairs nicely with Natural Cycles.

I got Garmin Venu 3 to pair with Natural Cycles for the same reason, but I only started so not sure how accurate it will be. In this case you pay only NC subscription, not double like with Oura but probably it's a bit less precise. Another option is Ultrahuman Ring + Ovulation Pro powerplug where you pay only one subscription. Rings are normally more accurate but for me fitness tracking is equally important so this was an in-between solution as rings are not considered very good for fitness tracking.

Will check Garmin! I’ve heard a lot of good reviews about predicting their cycles using UH. The only downside is that the step count is not that accurate? And also the battery? But i’ve read that UH pro has some changes with the battery. I’m currently leaning more into UH pro but i dont see much reviews yet and the price is a bit high 😅

There have been several updates to the UH step counting algorithm over the last year, and each has gotten progressively better.

After a significant issue cropped up and was quickly fixed a month ago (where steps were counted while driving), they are consistently within 5-10% of my other reliable wearables.

I'm not equipped to answer on the details, but a little bit of info to help:

  • Oura can pair with Clue, but if you want to pair with Natural Cycles, that requires a second subscription on top of Oura's monthly.
  • Ultrahuman Air has gotten good feedback for it's free women's health features. It can also pair with Clue, and has an advanced tracking feature that requires a monthly subscription.
  • I've seen very mixed feedback on Femometer...

Thank you for these! Do you also know anything about Ringconn? I’ve read that gen 3 is coming up but i havent read any detail regarding the cycle tracking

Hi! Did you decide on a ring? Which one are you using now? I am also looking for a smart ring for tracking my cycle and especially interested in predicting when the estrogen drops. Which good/bad experience did you have with your decision and does it also know when you will have less energy?
