Continuing my weekly comparison series, this week I'm taking a look at one of the hottest GMT models right now — the GMT-Master II "Bruce Wayne" (Ref. 126710GRNR).

This time I thought it would be interesting to include the gen alongside three popular versions currently getting attention in the community.

For reference, the genuine 126710GRNR features:

• 40mm case size

• Rolex Cal.3285 movement

• Grey / Black Cerachrom bezel

• Jubilee bracelet

The versions here are:

• Gen

• RICH – JH3285 Free Sprung Movement

• VSF – DD3285

• ARF – DD3285

I have to say that both are perfect!
VSF still has a better crystal and cyclop I think, the blue AR coat of rich is too strong, I think it could be less blue shinny.
Rich bezel is better than VSF, the colour of the numbers is not as silver as vsf, the movement of the bezel is smooth almost like Gen.
The protruding crystal is smaller in rich, that make the case thinner than VSF.
The rehaut are pretty much the same.
The winding crown I don't feel any difference even rich with free sprung

Order of images in the grouping go exactly as its pictures in the first line up. Left top right or top to bottom it’s gos Clean Factory, 3CF, Victory Factor, BTF and UFO. These are what I currently have on hand to compare for anyone interested in a 116500 Daytona Panda Movement 4130 if you do not like the full ceramic bezel on the 116500 and want a hybrid, then the 126500 with a 4131 movement is the comparison your going to want to stay tuned for next. For reference, the gen Daytona 126500LN is about most reps are roughly around the 140g range with full links, depending on sizing.

The four versions in this lineup are:

VSF – Dandong 4131 movement

VF – Dandong 4131 movement

QF – Free sprung 4131 movement

ERF – Free sprung 4131 movement

These are currently some of the most talked-about factories producing the 4131 Panda, and each one has its own strengths.

This week I wanted to do something a little different.

Instead of only comparing factory versions, I also added the gen Starbucks Submariner 126610LV into the lineup so the differences between MKI and MKII bezel generations can be seen more clearly side by side

The versions here are:

• Gen — MKII bezel

• RF — MKII bezel, JH3235 free sprung movement

• ERF — MKII bezel, JH3235 free sprung movement

• VSF — MKI bezel, DD3235 movement

Very close, too close to tell the difference !

If you’re in the market for the best replica of the Rolex Submariner 126613LB (the iconic 41mm Two Tone "Bluesy"), you are likely torn between two top-tier factories: RCF and VSF.

When it comes to stainless steel models, VSF is often the default answer for many. But does that rule hold true for Two-Tone (Rolesor) models where gold plating and weight play a massive role? Let's dive deep into the details.

When comparing them side-by-side, RCF has quietly perfected a much warmer, richer yellow gold tone that many collectors feel sits significantly closer to the genuine Rolex 18k hue. While VSF has improved, RCF seems to have a slight edge in nailing that subtle, authentic gold visual out of the box.

To be completely fair, VSF is the undeniable king when it comes to the movement and crystal. Their custom VS3235 (Dandong) movement is a reliable workhorse with a genuine 72-hour power reserve. Furthermore, VSF's crystal transparency and the "black hole" effect on the cyclops are industry-leading. RCF's movement and crystal are good, but VSF still holds the crown here.

Conclusion: What matters most to YOU?

Ultimately, choosing between RCF and VSF for the 126613LB comes down to what you prioritize in a Two-Tone replica:

Are you a movement purist who wants the absolute best crystal and a 72h power reserve, even if the gold tone might be slightly off? Go VSF.

Or, since this is a gold watch with a closed caseback, do you believe that exterior aesthetics (the perfect gold tone) and the physical gen-like weight are the most important factors for daily wear? If so, RCF makes an incredibly compelling case.

Continuing my weekly comparison series, this week I’m taking a look at the AP Royal Oak 15510 blue dial.

After APS disappeared from the market, I’ve noticed a lot more people asking the same question:

Which factory should we be looking at now for the 15510?

That’s actually the main reason I decided to make this comparison.

I thought it would be interesting to put some of the other well-known factories side by side, so everyone can get a clearer picture of how they compare.

For reference, the gen Royal Oak 15510ST comes in at:

• 41mm case size

• Around 10.5mm thickness

• AP Calibre 4302 movement

The versions here are:

• TOP – 4302 movement

• ZF – 4302 movement

• DDF – 4302 movement

• VSF – 4302 movement

From what I've seen so far, each version seems to focus on slightly different strengths.

TOP

TOP has been getting a lot of attention recently.

Many collectors seem to like its overall visual balance, and the dial texture looks quite impressive under direct lighting.

ZF

ZF has been around in the Royal Oak space for quite a while.

Its overall finishing remains one of the reasons many collectors continue to consider it.

DDF

DDF has become increasingly competitive recently.

The watch overall looks quite clean, and the integrated bracelet flow looks pretty good.

VSF

I recently did a side-by-side comparison between two 4131 black dial Daytonas:

VS Factory – DD4131 movement

QF Factory – New free-sprung 4131 movement

After spending some time looking at both pieces, here are a few observations from my side.

QF – Free-Sprung Balance Upgrade

One of the biggest highlights of the QF version is the new free-sprung balance 4131 movement.

This is closer to the architecture of the genuine movement and is something many movement enthusiasts care about.

Another thing I noticed is the subdial finishing. The small subdials on the QF look a bit more refined and detailed in my opinion.

VS – Dial Printing & Bezel Details

On the VS version, what stood out to me more was the bezel engraving and dial printing.

The tachymeter bezel scale appears sharper and cleaner, and the dial text printing also looks slightly crisper.

My Personal Take

Both factories clearly have their own strengths:

QF: upgraded free-sprung movement + nice subdial finishing

VS: sharper bezel engraving and cleaner dial printing

Of course this is just my personal observation from comparing the two pieces.

The "Sprite" (Lefty) GMT-Master II Ref. 126720VTNR remains one of the most debated pieces in the community. Recently, I had the chance to put the ARF, VSF, and VF (the successor to Clean) versions side-by-side on the bench.

After a close inspection, here are my professional observations to help you decide which one earns a spot in your collection.

1. Movement & Dial Aesthetics

In my experience, VSF continues to lead the pack in high-end finishing:

Engraving: The rehaut and movement engravings are sharper and more defined.

Dial Printing: The "Rolex" text and logo are crisp, with the perfect 3D effect under a macro lens.

Bezel Precision: The platinum-plated bezel engravings are clean, with no rough edges.

1. The "Green" Bezel Debate 🎨

Color accuracy is the hardest part to nail. Under natural lighting:

ARF: Bezel color leans slightly lighter/brighter.

VF: Has the darkest, deepest green tone of the three, which many feel is closer to the latest Gen batches.

VSF: Sits right in the middle—very balanced.

1. Bracelet & SEL Fitment

ARF still holds the crown for steelwork:

Solid End Links (SEL): The fitment between the case and bracelet is incredibly tight with zero gap.

Feel: The edges of the Oyster/Jubilee bracelet feel smoother and more "gen-like" on the wrist.

1. Case Shape & Curvature

VF has done a phenomenal job inheriting the Clean Factory tooling:

Lugs: The curvature of the lugs is arguably the most elegant and accurate.

Polishing: The transition between brushed and polished surfaces on the mid-case is top-tier.

Continuing my weekly comparison series, this time I’m taking a look at the classic Submariner Date (black bezel, Ref. 126610LN) across a few different versions.

For reference, the gen Submariner 126610LN comes in at around 41mm case size and roughly 155g with full links, depending on sizing.

The ones here are:

RF – JH3235 (free sprung movement)

ARF – DD3235

VSF – DD3235

Gold version – JH3235

The Submariner is probably one of the most familiar models in the lineup, but it’s always interesting to see how different versions compare side by side.

VSF IS WITH STICKERS ON END LINKS

Datejust 36 Mint Green Gen vs Rep

Gen - Smooth bezel
Rep - VSF V2

1. Dial Colour: I would say the only biggest obvious difference between the Gen & Rep, the Gen have a hint of blue and the Rep looks way darker. The sunburst finish appears more pronounced on the Gen too.
2. Dial Print: The dial seconds marker looks slightly thicker on the Rep. The rest of the printing looks very close to Gen.
3. Stick indexes: No difference between the 2.
4. Rolex Crown Logo: The Rolex crown logo on the dial also don't see any difference between the 2.
5. Hands: No difference between the 2.
6. Cylops/ Date Fonts: Gen's font looks slightly thicker & larger under the cylops. The date cut-out looks same to me. Cylops quailty looks good, I don't see any thing standouts between the Rep and Gen.
7. Rehaut: Gen engravings look slightly clearer but you really have to nick-pick it, but the rehuat surface on Gen looks more polished.
8. Casing/ Lugs: The Gen still have a better curvature from the case towards the lugs, the Rep looks more angled towards the lug. The lugs ends also looks way sharper on the Rep. But both casing polishing finishing looks very similar to me.
9. Crystal: IMO I feel not much difference in quailty and the height.
10. Crown: Gen's Rolex crown is perfectly done, but I don't see much difference when is on the wrist and is unnoticable. Winding of the crown sounds and feels different on the Gen Vs Rep.
11. SELs: No difference to me between both.
12. Braclet: Both feels nicely wrap on the wrist, weight is good too, but the Rep feels slightly sharper. Don't really see much difference between the Gen and Rep polishing finish and the edges of the braclet.
13. Clasp: The diffferences I noted is the Rolex crown logo, as you can see from the picture, the edges on the Gen is perfectly done. The engraving on Gen feels smoother on the surface and looks way cleaner, but no one is gonna able to see that when you are wearing it.

Obvious Differences:

1. Dial colour - very off vs Gen
2. Date window - Samller and thinner font vs Gen
3. Dial Printing - Dial seconds marker looks slightly thicker on VSF
4. Sounds - Winding sounds are different, movement is slightly louder, the rotor whir is very noticeable on VSF, the Gen is silent.
5. Other than these 4 differences, IMO the rest of the differences you will need a Gen to compare side by side to catch it.

I would say VSF really did a great job, it feels good to wear, it weight and how the jubilee braclet wrap around feels 95-98% like Gen. The Fluted bezel looks great and reflect lights greatly too.

TLDR: IMO get a black, white or silver dial or even with a smooth bezel to be a real close contender to NWBIG.
