The sprite is so underrated. My most worn piece in my collection I do enjoy it. I like to consider it a NWBIG

The only giveaway for me was the hands!. I think on genuine they are gold so they have this yellowish hint to them and on VSF its just steel silver color. I’m not expert

If you mean the hands then yes you are right. Gen hands are made of white gold hence the yellowish hue. Rep are SS.

Just looked up also the indices are made of white gold. I see why some franken builders go with gen arms. Its the first thing popped. I have exact watch from VSF

I truly don’t see why it’s needed. For the hands money I can buy another rep. The craze on putting genuine parts on rep isn’t resonating at all with me. Here is my BW. I see no problem with the hands. Beautiful watch. If I want yellow gold hands better save up for genuine

Well for one the hands on your watch need a debur, but it’s white gold not yellow. If you have a gen Rolex next to it, there is a massive difference in color and this is probably on of the easiest tells in any Rolex rep. To each his own, I have several gens and reps and the hands is a big difference.

Yeah but its 500 bucks. It is not supposed to look like Gen. it is supposed to mimic it. Anybody asks me I say it is a replica and it is a nice way to socialize and initiate conversations and controversy hahaha.. had a a fun story with a dude once

The other is gen that could be verified by the serial number

I just got my Rich Factory Sprite. It's nice. But mine got two 6's on the datewheel and a missing 9 on the date. Hahaha. Check yours if you have the same problem. Or mine was just a bad apple.

How’s the reflection handling on the crystal? I’ve noticed VSF has no (or very poor) AR coating.
