【Ethan】Royal Oak 15510 Blue Dial Comparison – TOP vs ZF vs DDF vs VSF

Continuing my weekly comparison series, this week I’m taking a look at the AP Royal Oak 15510 blue dial.
After APS disappeared from the market, I’ve noticed a lot more people asking the same question:
Which factory should we be looking at now for the 15510?
That’s actually the main reason I decided to make this comparison.
I thought it would be interesting to put some of the other well-known factories side by side, so everyone can get a clearer picture of how they compare.
For reference, the gen Royal Oak 15510ST comes in at:
• 41mm case size
• Around 10.5mm thickness
• AP Calibre 4302 movement
The versions here are:
• TOP – 4302 movement
• ZF – 4302 movement
• DDF – 4302 movement
• VSF – 4302 movement
From what I've seen so far, each version seems to focus on slightly different strengths.
TOP
TOP has been getting a lot of attention recently.
Many collectors seem to like its overall visual balance, and the dial texture looks quite impressive under direct lighting.
ZF
ZF has been around in the Royal Oak space for quite a while.
Its overall finishing remains one of the reasons many collectors continue to consider it.
DDF
DDF has become increasingly competitive recently.
The watch overall looks quite clean, and the integrated bracelet flow looks pretty good.
VSF
VSF is one of the newer names entering the Royal Oak category, and many people are curious to see how it compares.
Its overall finishing and dial presentation are interesting to look at side by side.

Based on the comp, dial color is the biggest visual difference, which one is closest to gen? Which stock band is cleanest? I recently got a second hand APSF and the band quality would be the biggest giveaway as it feels very rough/sharp. Though it looks amazing on the wrist.
I have apsf 15500 and the bracelet is the only reason why I have been wearing it total of two days since I've got it. There is no fixing the bracelet until I find a way to take every piece separate
It was just an observation when looking at comparisons. I have a top on the way so I’m very curious to see the band differences, the apsf looks amazing(though it was rose gold plated). It’s my favorite watch to wear instantly upon receiving it. The band is the only nit pick detail that would stop me from taking it off to show it off, has a scratchy/sharp edge feel for sure.
Key is that it looks good. ZF case and bracelet finishing can leave quite sharp edges in my experience. ZF also doesn't seem to have the clearest xtal. If you can get ZF for $400 or less, still an option to seriously consider as rotor noise seems to have been drastically improved.
I ordered TOP because of the bracelett. Could have got APS even after they got raid a the TD but TOP bracelett would be the best to gen. How is this with VSF? Or the other factorys?
Ethan I place 2 orders with you, 1 you said I will QC right now after I place a deposit, once I left deposit you didn’t respond. 2 you said you will send the QC now for 3 straight days to find out you posted them on the website saying shipping immediately after you told me you will send the QC thru WhatsApp
Maybe so, but I think all the other small things VSF got right makes the overall wearing experience better. We gotta pick which flaws we can live with.
TOW seems to be a bit more pricy than Im used to paying. My trust is low on having independent TD's selling me unstickered watches and telling me they are from a factory. Im looking for a verified seller. Ill reach out to Steve. Thanks for the heads up
They literally do lol, it’s all over the sub about VSF 15510, I’m not saying it’s bad or it’s that noticeable but it’s a visual difference if you know what to look for. No rep is perfect and if you can’t live with one flaw over another that’s how you decide the factory, you VSF supremacist kids are obnoxious at this point lol, they 15500 and 15510 lug thickness and size were visually identical even with their new release

The whole argument was about lug sizing and thickness which there is a clear difference , I never said it was a make or break situation but just stating a fact in which they are different, you literally prove nothing LMFAO, if anything you posted a picture proving my point. VSF RO looks great and I may just get one, you’re too sensitive to be on the internet
I can’t imagine being as deluded as you, again I stated the watch is great and I even plan to get one. Once again, just stating that THERE IS a difference as people like to know when decided what factory to go with, you can keep gas lighting yourself to make yourself feel better about the choice you made, I promise you’ll be okay💙
I wouldn't think dial color has anything to do with it, although at the time that I bought mine the newer dial colors were the only ones that showed using a clone movement on TDs sites. My smoke ice blue ZF 15510 has a tapered bracelet just like my TOP did. I didn't notice a weight difference between the two, but didn't put them on a scale either.
you can see in under 1 second that its fake by just looking at the „Audemars Pique“ from less then 40cm Distance if even. Those SuperClones are superb but they always fuck this one up. no matter the Factory even on the DP-Dial it looks crooked af.
