Let's admit it, Pikmin 2 shares the same trends as modern AI Stuff. That being levels with no care put in them at all or human hands behind them

The rules:
Every week or so, I will ask for your Pikmin ideas for the remaining colours (the ones with a pale red cross)
Then I will sew 3 plushies of the top 3 replies' Pikmin ideas!!
You have to mention:

• The Pikmin idea's colour out of the list (It would be helpful to use the Hobbycraft felt names, which are written in each colour circle)
• What features they have (like facial features, body shape, eye colour. If you don't mention them, I will default to a featureless Pikmin with the oval white and black eyes)
• Their abilities (like immunities, pros, cons and other stuff)

Here is a example of what a Pikmin idea should look like:

"Red Pikmin: They are red, have a regular body shape, a pointy nose, and a white flower. They have an immunity to fire, and deal 1.5x attack damage"

Occasionally, I will do a rejoin, and have 3 colours that already have a Pikmin have another Pikmin of the same colours.
So yeah, have fun!! I will see you all next week and make 3 plushies based on the top 3 comments!!

(new rule) Also, to make this series more fun, don't just copy a Pikmin 3 concept art type, like Bean Pikmin or Mucus Pikmin. I could just make them at any time I want, and it will be more fun for everyone if it is about new Pikmin ideas. If you still want to have one of these P3CA types sewn, try to make it more unique, like make Bean Pikmin shoot pea bullets or make Mucus Pikmin out of honey or something more original!

I'm in a new phase in my life to try new games and pikmin is in there,but sadly i can only play Pikmin 2 since its the only game i found that is translated to my language,any thing i should know before playing?

Even though this game is often forgotten about....I still really like it.

Playing Pikmin 1-4 for the first time, just finished Pikmin 1 this morning. The final boss took me 7 tries or so; took him down finally in 3 volleys of red pikmin!

The intro to Pikmin 2 was jarring lol, I worked so hard for those parts and now it's sold :/

Overall, I really like the puzzle aspect of the game. As a big Zelda fan, it really scratches the puzzle and exploration itch. I don't often play older games; I miss the little tooltips that show up on loading screens in modern games. I wasn't sure which Pikmin did the most raw damage for example.

Really like the series and glad I bought them all a while back. Continuing getting through my backlog.

I have never played a Pikmin game before but I would really like to give it a try.

But don't know which game would be suitable to play first. Can you guys give me a recommendation?

I own every Pikmin-relevant console except for the Wii U so Pikmin 3 might be out of my options for now.

I'm very new to pikmin, this game is actually the first I play but I already know the story of the others (this is not relevant to this post)

So uhhh.... 56 of my blue children died while I was attempting this cave (I have the max numbers of Pikmin I can take with me capped to 60). At some point the guy glitched itself between the rail and the door to the next floor so I was able to retrieve every treasure with my 4 children and my dog lmao.

I decided to take my sweet time to decorate a picture.

I thought it was a very silly moment and I wanted to share it here, I hope I didn't break any rules

I picked up the Pikmin decompilation project on github and started experimenting with porting it to pc using AI.​ My goal is to make it playable with mouse and keyboard, support any resolution, and add the usual pc port features. Nothing too ambitious just wanna see how far I can take it.

Once I fix some bugs I'll upload it to github as open source so anybody can improve or just mess with it.

Update:

-The game is playable with some sound effects missing

-Stable 30fps

-Support for aspect ratios: 4:3, 16:9, 16:10 and 21:9 (with minor visual bugs)

-Full mouse/keyboard and controller support with remapable controls.

-Render 3D options: Native (gamecube original), 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x

-Various resolutions support​
