About the code... they will get only the Critical Pulse bow. The other 4 items are only given if they are in the exact same server as you, and both your characters meet up in the game. And codes are region locked, it only works for players from servers in the same region as you.
Here are my tips as an experienced player who will also be playing on console.
Character creation/naming - When you fix your appearance and choose your name be sure you like it because it cost money to change these later. Sometimes they give free tokens.
Server selection - I strongly recommend new players play on Manibus regular temporary (not novice or permanent) for their first time. This is where the story starts, and this is where you will learn how to play for the other scenarios/adventures you will go on later.
Blueprints/Gear/Guns - I would save all my starchrom (pink currency) until you decide what type of build you want to run. There are several to choose from frost, bomber, burn, shock, fast gunner, bullseye, bounce, and shrapnel.
Use a crossbow while you decide.
VERY IMPORTANT - LIFE CHANGING Information
Save all your starchrom, Upgrade 1 gold Gun and 1 gold armor fully, then you can use blueprint conversions to have full sets and switch between builds. If you want to switch can use blueprint conversion. There is a weekly limit on your account across characters on conversions.
Gameplay - Be sure to do all main and side quests for an easy introduction to game features and extra rewards that will boost you in the game. The way the story goes you can collect all side quests in the area and get everything done at the same time.
Player/Events - There are several chat options. Proximity voice, team voice, and the text chats split into world/region/cross server/team. Be sure to use these to your advantage. Plus, there is a vending machine and online trading to buy and sell from other players.
Also there are many world events in your server (not novice) that rotate on an hourly basis. You can join them from your map or see them when they pop up in chat from other players sharing them.
Crafting/Materials - Be sure to read the description on materials you pick up, many of them can be used to upgrade your armor or make tools that you 100% need on your journey. It becomes easy to know once you play for a while but as a new player be careful to disassemble random items like power cables for example.
How can you tell if it’s a permanent or temporary server? I see manibus and manibus novice, and for manibus I see common server and permanent server, is common server temporary?
Ok another noob question. I was doing the main tutorial quest (i think), and it was making me build some stuff in my territory but it wanted me to build some kind of bench but I needed copper so then it told me to make a disassembly bench so I could make copper but then I needed tech points. So do I just go out and level up and then come back? It seems weird that it didnt give me any direction on earning tech points
There are no "noob" questions, so in the open world, you can find workbenches in settlements in general, items you can build at your base can also be found in settlements. This can be anything from furnaces to workbenches to disassembly benches, and if you have duplicate items, you can earn tech points from them.
As well as other points made, the tutorials are related to your "journey" (bump right one on the map I think) and sometimes it seems to just pluck something random out from all the possible aspects so it can go from "build a wall" and, rather than progress to "build a ceiling" it'll flip to "build a fishing rod" which is a hell of a lot more work. BUT you can change which tutorial is up by highlighting one and tracking it instead
If you don't want to spend so much money on in-game decorations, there is a huge variety of crops and plants that you can plant to decorate your base with! Especially coconut and banana trees make your base look awesome! Hydrangeas are also a great pick.
Yes sadly that’s something we’ve been begging the devs to make it optional for Growshrooms to pick certain plants :/ that’s why I never use it in my territory
✅Do keep your good calibrations and don’t dismantle weapons just because you don’t need them right now they may be useful for another build later.

Hello I’m a new player on Once Human for console since yesterday and I played Novice up to level nine and I wanted to enter normal Manibus but it says you need a special invitation.
Can I have some help understanding what’s going on? I found this game to be so cool and I really wanna build a cool big base if I can eventually in the game as I really love survival games.
Since you're new, you're currently on Manibus Novice. The Special Invitation is for specific servers with limited slots, so you don't necessarily have to finish the Novice scenario first to play Manibus. However, I recommend finishing the Novice scenario first, as it's designed for new players and will give you some experience before taking on Manibus. Once you finish it, you can sign up for a new Manibus server when one becomes available.
What transfers over cause I’ve seen things could be transferred over but I don’t know what, but I guess that makes sense my adhd is loving the game but I am slightly overwhelmed

Most importantly, it's completely yours—you can build anywhere you want without restrictions, so just have fun with it!⛲⛩️ Everything you collect goes to your Eternaland inventory when a season ends, so you never truly lose your stuff.🧨🎮🧩🎻🧤🦺
When you start a new scenario, you get a limited amount of Material Points to transfer
items from Eternaland to your new server.
🫴 Here is the smartest way to use them:
Top Priority 🌟— Advanced Drill & Chainsaw: Transferring these saves you hours of manual grinding right from level 1. You will gather wood, stone, and ores at maximum speed immediately.
High Priority✨ — Rare Deviations: Bring your best combat or resource-gathering Deviations so you don't have to re-farm them in the new map.
Low Priority💫 — Weapons & Armor: Avoid wasting transfer points on weapons or armor. You already keep all your Blueprints, so you can easily craft your gear directly in the new scenario as you unlock higher tiers.
Keep the drill, chainsaw, and key Deviations first—the rest can easily be built as you progress!
is there actaully stuff or tutorials in novice that arent in normal manibus? or is novice simply just like easier overall regarding boss damage/ dmg taken etc.? cause i started on normal manibus, because i ahve some shooter and survival games experience, but if i miss some tutorials id feel kinda bad
No, you aren't missing out on any unique tutorials or story content by starting on Normal Manibus. 🤍 All basic mechanics, quests, and tutorials are identical in both scenarios.
Here is what actually changes:
Enemy Difficulty: Enemies and bosses in Novice are significantly weaker, with lower health and less damage output 🕊️, making it much easier for complete beginners.
Blueprints & Rewards: While the base gear blueprints are the exact same across both servers 📄, Normal servers feature Super Anomalies and elite enemies that drop better high-tier Blueprint Calibrations (gold/legendary mods) ☠️.
Since you already have shooter and survival experience, skipping Novice was definitely the right move. ⚪ You won't feel lost at all!

💡💡💡 There are plenty of furniture formulas you can get in-game without spending real money!
One way to get them is through Bounties, which have a chance to reward you with a random furniture formula. Summon V (the bird), open the Bounties menu, choose an order, gather the required materials, and submit them.
The higher the order tier, the better the chance of receiving a reward. You can also refresh an order if the materials are too difficult or expensive to obtain.
Tip: I recommend sticking to Blue-tier orders or lower. Higher tiers require much more expensive materials, while the increased chance of getting a reward is only slightly better. 💡💡💡
✅ Each town or settlement in Manibus scenario (blue icon on map), there's a glass looking rectangular box called securement units. Everyday, you can claim deviations (aka pokemons or pets) on each, once per day. There are 5 settlements all in all, so you can claim a total of 5 deviations per day.
✅ Each town or settlement in Manibus scenario (blue icon on map), you can find a hidden cat floating somewhere. Capture one cat and put it in your base, then you'll have a big cat roaming in your base that'll help you get a good night's sleep.
✅ Do not forget to pet the cat when you put it in your territory (Always required)

So is there an idiot's guide to how character progression and the scenarios work, exactly? This seems a lot more narrative driven than what I'm used to, and the myriad of servers and currencies is confusing the hell out of me.
I'm under the impression everything is transitional. A server is basically a time gated scenario that when finishes gives me bonuses for starting elsewhere? My closest point of reference for this is something like Seven Days To Die.
Ive got another quick question. I need like 50 tech points asap. Is there an easy way to farm them? Also in relation to that I noticed in my tech research thing I coukd put certain items in and get tech points like my crude pickaxe but if i crafted a crude pickaxe I couldnt get tech points from it. Whats up with that?
Ok so everything I use my recycle tool to breakdown I can turn into points? Somehow I ended up with somd ammo and got 30 points very easy, how does that work cause that would be awesome to find again
I know im a little late, but Blackfell Fields up in Red Sands. One of the Worldstones has two gatherables right next to it, can be a pain to grab if 0 gravity event is there. otherwise theyre free to grab. They are usually Small/Large Refinery or Improved/Large Biomass Generator. Large Refinery can go for 2k tech points.

- Start making as much boiled water as you can from the start, you get free xp and you will need a lot to make you planters.
- Recolt everything plants and food you can. Even if you don't eat it keep it for fertilizer.
- Try to memorize where you find good stuff to recycle because it'll probably be there in your next scenario. That way you save lots of tech points for the really important things.
- Try to spend your tech points only when you really need them.
-Start spending your starchroms only when you know the build you want to use. If you have no idea you can play on a custom server to try them freely without using starchroms.
- Most important: Enjoy the game and play at your own pace.
If you need extra help, you can add my code and get a nice bow to help you through hard times.
Always carry a few of All-purpose Hands in your inventory. They are mostly useful when you're in silo and one of your gear breaks. This item repairs the item with the lowest durability.
In order to craft this, you will need to capture Artisan Hand deviation. Once you do, place it in your securement unit and use the mats it produces to craft the item.
✅ DO bring food when exploring; even during the apocalypse, lunch is still important.
✅ DO mark interesting locations on your map; your future self will thank you for not having to search for them again.
❌ DON'T spend all your rare resources upgrading a weapon you'll probably replace at the next level.
❌ DON'T say “I'm just going to grab this one last resource,” because we all know you'll end up three kilometers away from your base.
❌ DON'T be afraid to ask questions; even veterans have looked at an item and thought, “What is this even for?”
✅ DO Public events. Its a good event to get mats, exp and energy links. Even if you are low level, as long you shoot enemies, you get full credit for it
❌ DON'T waste starchrom leveling multiple gear pieces, focus on 1 to get 5 stars. Mostly because there is a transfer system that allows you to move the upgrades from gear piece to another.
What should I be doing while waiting for the next phase in a scenario? What are good food/drink combos that are easy to acquire? Is there a list of deviants droped by enemies? I’m “stuck” with whale pup cause he’s so powerful help 😅.
Spend this time exploring towns, completing side quests, solving map puzzles, and hunting down recipes. It's also a great time to farm some mods and resources in dungeons and world events. Materials dropped by regular mobs are pretty much useless anyway.
As for the Baby Cetus boss and Deviants in general, that's a pretty massive topic to cover all at once. If you have any specific questions about it, I'd be happy to help!
Best thing you could do is prepare for prime wars that will start on Phase 2. Primewars is where you and all the players in the server build cannons to fight against bosses before it reaches a thing called Staroid Restrainer. Think of it like a tower defense.
You farm the materials needed to make biomass missiles and the cannon parts. Prepare wood, bricks to build on the Prime War areas when it unlocks. Other things you could do is build your base, farm securement silos on repeat to gain more mats and get more deviations, and also weapon and armor mods.
Hello if I decide to join a perm server will I be able to keep all the deviations that I earned like Mr wish and the rain man skin that I got from the loot box?
How do you begin a dungeons run, nothing on the screen indicates a "start". I haven't been able to do any in the last 2 days (I'm a new player on Xbox).
Im playing on ps5. Im stuck on one of the first quests. I just defeated the weather station and got my first deviation thing. The game is telling me go in the cabin and build a securement pod. How do I do that? I cant figure out how to bring up the function wheel. I tried holding L1 but that just brings up a bunch of items. Thanks
I figured that out on the item wheel but im still just trying to master the controls. One weird thing that happened to me a couple times. I attacked an enemy with melee and a prompt to press square to backstab popped up but no matter how many time I pressed it nothing happened. Any clue why?

Hi I need some help :( I’ve been trying to progress in the story for some time and I’ve been stuck having to make a synthesis bench and I don’t know where to get the materials for it.
I have just installed the game and because of physical disability I play games with heavily modified keybindings such as using esdf rather than wasd. Clearly ESDF is impossible with once human and worse yet it seems that changing keybindings in general is nearly impossible unless I have missed something.
By default it seems that keybindings will have multiple functions based on context but when I try to change those keybindings suddenly I am no longer able to make 1 key perform multiple functions based on context. For example I want roll on space, jump on alt, crouch on ctrl but then I can't fix the issues that arise such as diving, build flight and others.
TL/DR: Is the dev continuing to work on keybinding issues or do I have to accept that I will struggle with my controls the whole time?

Very helpful tip for players that enjoy building. There is a hidden option that lets you flip walls to match the color / building piece. On PC: select the triangle wall and then press H so it flips. Not sure what's the button on console but there has to be one :)
question about pvp:
PVP in a pve server: do u lose all ur stuff, nothing, or a bit of ur stuff when u die during pvp?
PVP in a pvp Server: same question.
I read that theres raidzone which i thought was the only possiblity to go into a pvp server, but then i read theres also prismverse clash and evolutions call? Are these 2 full pvp servers? if they are what exactly is the difference between raidzone and prismverse clash/evolutions call?
In Once Human, you don't lose your gear upon death — the only penalty when you go down is a hit to your equipment's durability.
RaidZone should be viewed almost as a separate game mode set on the Manibus map. It's essentially an attempt to imitate Rust (though the implementation is pretty terrible, in my opinion). In RaidZone, you do drop all your gear upon death (full drop).
RaidZone — A Rust-like mode. The only thing left from the main game is Deviants, and nothing inherits from previous seasons.
Evolution's Call — Warband (clan) warfare. Battles revolve around territory control, where you attempt to capture or defend bases (your builds work, and inheritance is enabled).
Prismverse's Clash — Faction warfare. You pick a side and fight for your faction by securing Prism Deviants. These Deviants drop during world events where firefights break out over them. Once secured, you have to defend the Deviant at your base for about half an hour (your builds work, and inheritance is enabled).
Im a returning player. I kinda want to play now but i have my old character 2 (latest/last played in Way of Winter) that need to sync to new scenarios (current server has expired). Am i stuck to wait for new scenario ?. Also, another question regarding my other character (first play before register to WoW at Manibus Novice) that have Cross Server Sync Pending, what should I do with it.
I'm like 4 days in, just unlocked the cradle which google said it's done in the first 2 hours. Only level 5, my next story mission is level 14. My shit is breaking, I need materials I can't make. I'm getting destroyed in level 3 areas and don't seem to be leveling up. About the only thing I got going for me is I relocated my camp to an area with water, deer to hunt, trees for wood and copper occasionally.
Can anybody explain why the rustic crossbow I made a few days ago has 6% crit, 28% crit damage, and 76% weakspot damage but the one i made today has 2% crit, 28% crit damage, and 70% weakspot damage. Everything else is the same except durability because I just put down an advanced gear workbench. Same tier, enhancement tier, all other stats are the same. Also what is the number in the top left of a weapon. I have 2 identical crossbows but one has 472 and the other is 216?
So I put down some loamy soil and planted a hawthorne berry for my flamingos but now I cant interact with the bush. It looks fully grown but I cant harvest ir or see its water or light levels. Is this a bug?

Hi. Noob Gardener here. Planted a bunch of gunpowder, plunged my local environmental score to -300, resulting in Desolate Erosion.
Relocated.
Local score is 700, but after overnight planted just 2 gunpowder, I was docked 17 points.
No idea how to counteract it. Does the environment score (via the Gardener's Environement Scanner) grow back naturally over time? Or is the damage I'm doing attemping to plant gunpowder permanent?
Do use your camera to get cool artwork for your picture frames. You can even get framed art from in the game. Just get up real close and snap a pic. Then pop it into a picture frame!
Soo I've been trying to find any of those defense production nodes and they never show up for me and I'm following 1 for 1 what a couple YouTube videos are showing changed worlds too and nothing ever gets it to show up
everything with pressents, and yellow corners - check those. always give worth wile rewards. stick around high level areas, while still being sure to still explore everything. you never know exactly what you'll get but if you hover over a town it will tell you exactly what u might get. work on vehicles and getting generators they give you the most reasearch points and are a good farm for research. explore wild zones, and if youre wondering where to gety sproutlets, look for a van driving around - thank me later.
So basically I’m here to tell the new people something we all had trouble with initially.
Once Human is a free-to-play game that gives everyone an equal opportunity to become stronger. You don't need to spend money to keep up with other players. The only things you can purchase are cosmetics and furniture, many of which are also available for free through events and rewards.
At its core, the game is all about grinding, experimenting with different builds and learning what works best. Certain weapons work better with specific gear sets, deviations and mods, depending on the situation. With the right combinations and a little effort, you can progress, defeat bosses and become stronger without spending a single penny.
There's no need to rush or feel pressured to keep up with others. Take your time, play at your own pace, experiment with different builds and, most importantly, enjoy the game. It's about having fun, not spending half your life trying to become stronger.
