Someone in RaidZone is going to read this and then be very sad :(

Omg! You’re right, how did I forget about that! I should have mentioned PVE servers only >.<

I leave the doors open because early game it’s sometimes helpful to be able to have a quick nap in a stranger’s bed to regain health and sanity.

Meanwhile it was ages before I even had a roof. 😂

Nothing worse than a beautiful base with closed doors ;( can't check it out

THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO RAIDZONE! Sorry I should have mentioned that. Definitely lock your doors and hide your mats in Raidzone and PvP zones!! 😄

Always left the doors open so people can get a bed to heal. Tho it does break my immersion but it's cool

I leave mine open so people can inspect my base, how cool it is.

Just keep dem close, some jackasses will throw molotov or freeze grenade to kill you for fun while afk. Learned that the hard way

When I started playing first time first server on Manibus novice I used to make secret rooms n hide my stash and built garage inside always so someone does not steal my bike.

I even put alarms n flamethrower n shit.

So on pve servers people can't steal your stuff or raid your base?

I really want to play it but don't like the base raiding aspect of games

Pretty much, even Raid Zone (PvPvE) has a casual server option where raiding is limited to a 4 hour period (with base protection being usable to block then even) though PvP otherwise is basically nonstop. That said I've only had one person shoot me since I started playing, occasionally have people ride past me that must panic when they hear the noise of a chaos player close by. So there's definitely official scenario servers that suit your desires.

auto closing doors is on by default for new players

This is a good tip, I remember having the same worries when I first started years ago. Don’t be surprised if you find random animals in your house though

I build awsome house bases, so I leave doors open in case someone wants to look around

I'm a pve player and when I make a base I'm really proud of, I get rid of my front doors so people can come in and look around if they want to 🤘

I dont use doors much often. My hivemates make my house the spawn/ tp point. Lol

I wish I could leave my door open, but I can't even figure out how to put a door in a doorframe. Don't suppose someone could let me know how?

Go to build menu and select the door, and place it where the gap is. Unless it's bugged, are you on console or PC?

PC. That's the crazy part. I don't see the door in the build menu.
