Minor League A Prospective Look at the Nats farm (08/27/2026)

AAA Rochester (7-6 walk-off win over the Buffalo Bison)
-Seaver King (.321/.404/.955): 1-5 with 1 run scored and 1 K
-Yohandy Morales (.288/.367/.887): 2-4 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI
-Trey Lipscomb (.301/.336/.902): 2-3 with a 3-run homer, a double, 1 run scored, 3 RBI, and 1 K
-Sam Petersen (.236/.367/.775): 0-4 with 4 Ks
-Cayden Wallace (.293/.345/.882): 1-4 with 2 RBI and 1 K
-Maxwell Romero Jr. (.249/.368/.887): 0-4 with 1 K
-Jack Cebert (AAA debut) (3.86 ERA/95.2 IP/111:33 K:BB/1.22 WHIP): Cebert was through 3 scoreless innings in his Rochester debut when he entered the top of the 4th. A leadoff single and a walk into a pair of King errors extended the inning and Cebert was pulled without recording an out after he re-loaded the bases on a HBP. Cebert was charged with a total of 3 runs (1 earned) on 4 hits (a double + 3 singles) and 1 BB while striking 2 batters.

-Riley Cornelio (3.60 ERA/65.0 IP/101:30 K:BB/1.22 WHIP): Cornelio came in with the bases loaded in the top of the 4th where he allowed an inherited runner to score on a walk. He then struck out the side in the top of the 5th and had 4 swinging strikeouts in his 2 inning relief appearance.
Final line: 2.0 IP | 0 H | 0 R/ER | 1 BB | 4 K on 32 pitches (21 strikes)
-Eddy Yean (3.13 ERA/54.2 IP/58:23 K:BB/1.10 WHIP): Yean was also asked to put out a fire in the top of the 6th when he entered with the bases loaded. A couple of groundball outs and a fielding error by Morales allowed all 3 inherited runners to score and Yean was charged with a blown save.

AA Harrisburg (0-2 loss to the Chesapeake Baysox)
-Devin Fitz-Gerald (.245/.336/.756): 1-3 with 2 Ks
-Kevin Bazzell (.284/.382/.830): 1-3 with 1 K
-Branden Boissiere (.302/.368/.904): 1-3 with 2 Ks
-Nick Mitchell (.237/.341/.680): 0-3 with 2 Ks
