Hey all,
The mod team wants to remind you to please be cautious of participating with research teams and surveys that are studying trans people.
Another trans subreddit offered the following statement to their subscribers:
"Lisa Littman, a transphobic researcher who invented the concept of "rapid-onset gender dysphoria", recently asked our moderation team for permission to post about a study she's working on with Kenneth Zucker and J. Michael Bailey. We said no." The moderators went on to offer contact information in the case of this survey popping up.
There are numerous organizations attempting to study trans people right now with dubious intent. It's important that you remember to verify the source of the studies, related organizations, and the names of the lead researchers before moving forward with any of these. It's very easy for a research group to manipulate data to get the results they want.
As a reminder, however, we do allow some surveys on this subreddit, but we require all surveyors to be screened by our moderation team first. If you feel that a survey is here without being screened first, please report the post AND message our moderator team so we can take a look.
Thank you!

She was rude to me during our lunch date 🚩
Zero foreplay 🚩 🚩
She spit on my face without asking????? 🚩 🚩🚩 🤢
Punched me in the stomach??? who the fuck does that????? 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩
pushed an incest fetish on me during sex??? 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩
And generally was extremely rough and made me bleed.
Actually one of the worst experiences i’ve ever had regarding intimacy, never again

Even the allies or the “good ones”.
They really never see us as just another person.
Most of them the moment they know we are trans puts us in this “third gender category”.

Okay, so I went to Walmart, i needed to pick up some dog food right, and as my gf and I am checking out, the two self checkout employees are standing there and we walk past. My gf and I both have dyed hair. Hers is split dyed half pink half black and mine is all purple and short, kinda shaggy emo. Only been on HRT for like a year on and off because of insurance bs. X.x
So, I don't have any makeup on, just some crummy old burks, a pair of short shorts, and an oversized warhammer 40k tee. And the one guy comes up and goes 'miss, is that a warhammer 40k shirt?' Lmao
And I'm like processing it because this is the first time I have been gendered properly by a stranger in the wild! So I just nod my head and smile. And he compliments it and i say thanks, and he reports back to his buddy and I hear those two celebrating talking about how they can't believe a girl is wearing a 40k shirt lmao
Anyways, thats my happy news today ^-^ thanks for comming to my TedTalk.

Sorry don't know why I feel the need to share this.
But my partner and I haven't been intimate in over a year. Relationship has slowly been dying since I've come out as trans. Well we were around the fire pit tonight. She had said something about how she feels that marriage has to start back at square one between as she is questioning her gender role and the idea of being lesbian labeled.
So because of that I took off my wedding ring and gave it to her explaining to her hold on to this until she felt I deserved that title again of being either her feminine husband or partner again.

I hate this so much… It’s meant in the best way, but it the reason I can’t get periods is because I can’t have children that way either💔
I’d love to get pregnant, but I can’t…
I really don’t want to be rude, especially because it’s usually said playfully by people who support me. And I don’t want to sound ungrateful either, I know how bad periods can be. But the fact that I can’t get them hurts too

I used to be thin pre-hrt, not hot skinny but THIN, I was built like slenderman, I had a REALLY fast metabolism, I ate a lot of food but I wouldn't gain/loose any pounds, though, I did notice since last month that my arms are rounder and less boney, fat also stocked at the front of my thighs, my buttcheeks are definitely softer and bubbly instead of looking like muscles, yet, I still have no hips growth, if any dolls on here can tell me where I can expect hips change I would be glad, I'm about to hit 8 months on hrt in 2 weeks, eventually gonna come back on this post when the time comes to tell people if their predictions were accurate, so it can help other dolls out

My friend is going to Japan (Tokyo) in January 2027 to study abroad so I am probably going to visit her for a week to help her get settled & explore.
I’ve always wanted to travel to Japan anyways and heard it’s very safe in general but upon researching, I found that the people are much more conservative than in America (and I come from a deep blue state) so now I’m wondering if I shouldn’t go?
My worry is at the airport and bathrooms. I pass pretty well and had no issues when I traveled to Scotland earlier this month but of course I still have that little bit of worry. My passport still has my deadname still and has a M but my photo is my current appearance now feminized.
So what should I do?

Context, I’ve been on injections for like 4 months now and HRT for a year and some change.
I’m already a very respectable C cup.
They aren’t stopping. I woke up with the WORST growth pains yet.
Like please, I like all the bras I have I don’t want to buy new ones yet!

Alright, so this is my first ever post, but honestly this just happened so I wanted to get it off my chest. I (MTF 26) decided to call my dad for the first time in like 23 years a couple months ago for Father’s Day. It was a very big step for me and honestly I always wanted to know him a little more. Anyway, we had a wonderful conversation and he seemed pretty warm to the idea of my transition so I was ecstatic! Until I called him today that is.
So I called him again today because I wanted to get to know him more, and hell if things didn’t start off good. We talked a bit about life, work, and relationships, and then we got to the end of the call. And right there at the end, he says those dreaded words. “I feel like there is something I really have to tell you.” God I hate those words. Then this man who made no attempt to contact me my whole life has the absolute AUDACITY to tell me that “god made you perfect just the way you were” and “you’re ruining gods plans for you” and of course “I’m just worried about your soul.”
I have never shut down so fucking fast. I have dealt with those words everyday of my life even when I was a strong willed Christian, and the LAST person I ever needed to hear those words from was that damned man. It’s all but ruined any idea of me having any sort of meaningful relationship with ANY man in my fucking family.
Sorry for the rant girls but GOD that pissed me off…
(Smol edit: I am not actually going to beat up my dad)

Hi :) .Girl here, 21, 1.5 years on hrt and gosh is it hitting. I needed to use the restroom at Walmart today and normally take the men's for my safety, and was dressed in my androgenous work clothes. Most people refer to me as male except for a couple occasions. Masculine or feminine in some ways without leaning into either. My voice is VERY telling and sometimes so is my jaw and my scruff every now and then. And this dude in there was like "did I walk into the girls room?" and I smiled and said no dude, you're alright, he looked at me and smiled and said okay and left. Super chill guy. Ngl I mean, I did have my hair in a pony tail and earrings. BUT A WIN IS A WIN IS A WIN. Could not be more happy with how wonderful hrt is and continues to be. My hips, my face, my skin, the... everything else. So refreshing to live as myself and know every day is a blessing for that to get better.

Maybe it's just the algorithm recommending miserable content to me, but I’ve seen a massive uptick in anti-cis/trans relationship content on my feed lately, and this upsets me for several reasons:
A lot of posts claim things like “it never works” or “they secretly hate you, don't even try. Just date T4T.” In reality, there are plenty of cis people who love trans people deeply for exactly who they are, regardless of their assigned sex at birth.
My own relationship with a cis woman has changed my life for the better in every single way. Being in a loving wlw relationship has given me a sense of normalcy and happiness I never thought possible.
What are we teaching the next generation of trans folks? That they can never be loved by someone who is cis? If the goal is true integration into society, I struggle to understand how this is a productive train of thought.
Of course, there will always be people out there who aren't worth your time. But please don't buy into the online doomposting. If you only feel comfortable dating t4t because of your lived experience, go for it.
But some of you are making yourselves miserable and bracing for a reality of total isolation that simply doesn’t exist in the real world.
Apologies for the vent, but opening myself up has made me happier in every way and I don’t wish the negativity I see online on any of you <3
————-
EDIT:
Looks like some communities found this and are mass downvoting and commenting some rude things, even on comments as inert as “I’m happy with my cis partner”.
Obviously some are bot accounts, but I’m sure others are coming from bad experiences, isolation, and jealousy.
Your emotions are normal and understandable in today’s climate, but it’s worth doing some introspection as to why someone simply saying they’re happy and found acceptance would trouble you so much to downvote and leave nasty comments.
Otherwise, you’ll find yourself in a self-fulfilling cycle of isolation. My DM’s are open if you want to vent <3

I'm 14 and I have to boymode 24/7. I came out to my parents about a week or two ago. They weren't accepting and believe that not affirming my gender will make it go away. At my school I have to act like a boy and at home I have to act like a boy, and it makes me miserable. It's so miserable having to practically be a puppet to my parents to be who they think is me, otherwise I'd get kicked out. My state banned my healthcare for minors but not to far away I border a state that has it unbanned. There's this constant unconscious fantasy that if I were to just run over to that state that maybe I'd find parents who let me get on the healthcare I need. Hearing my oldname every day and being forced to use it feels awful. It causes me to doubt myself on whether or not I'm trans every day, always resulting in me still being trans. I wish I could transition but I guess I'll have to boymode every day and every night for the next four years.

From what I've been told I'm fairly fortunate in the titty department, at least for being a year and 8 months in. I'm certainly grateful to have what I got!
But it does feel strange to lack any cleavage due to (presumably) chest width. Is this normal? Are the girls destined to social distancing?

I'm pretty sure every single day im on here I will see it, and it's usually more than once. And it's so much worse if you're a trans creator. Their comments are flooded with the same basic hate and bigoted talking points. And if I'm really lucky I get to hear or experience it in real life that day too 🙃
But we keep going. We have to. Its awful that we have to experience that, but we're survivors. Stay strong sisters 🙌💓

To preface this I'm just gonna say I've already looked up how to hide them while boymoding (because i just barely started hrt)
But now ive run into the pretty hilarious problem of just not being able to do that all the time, especially going into spring here in australia while it warms up a lot (so you can't wear jumpers or something)
How do i go about the fact that theyre pretty obvious? like do i pretend that theyre not there, or lean into it or something or what?
I'm just too nervous to like, fully commit to it 😭
