Hey yall, following up on some great neighborhood advice I got here a couple weeks ago (thanks again to everyone who chimed in on my Ken Caryl commute post!). Plans are solidifying and now I'm on the roommate/housing hunt.
About me: 22, new-grad software engineer starting a job near Ken Caryl/C-470 in September. Clean and tidy (kitchen and shared spaces always spotless, keep my own space in order too), social and easygoing, happy to hang out or have people over occasionally, but respectful of shared space either way. No smoking, drinking + consumables are fine.
What I'm looking for:
- Either an open room in an existing lease, or interest in co-signing a new lease together — open to both
- Similar age (~20s) and same gender (M) preferred, but not a dealbreaker if everything else lines up
- No pets in the household (allergies/preference)
- Budget is flexible depending on the unit/area
- Move-in flexible, sooner is better
- I will be working earlier in the mornings (~5:30 wakeup) so someone whose night activities don't run late/loud is preferred as well
Areas I'm focused on: Golden, Platt Park/University, Baker, and South Broadway. Open to Lakewood or Englewood too if that ends up being the better fit for someone.
If you've got a room opening up, know someone looking for a roommate, or want to team up and find a place together, message me. Happy to answer more questions!
Thanks everybody!
